I'm brazilian and I'm learning french by my own.
The funny part is that french isn't too useful in Brazil. I'm learning just because the pronounce sounds fancy for us xD
P.S.: there's a lot of cognates between portuguese and french.
For example: préparer / preparar, étudier / estudar, lever / levantar, conjugaison / conjugação etc.
Do you also have reflexive verbs in Portuguese? I am curious :)

Je fais des erreurs plusieurs fois avant de pouvoir faire les choses correctement. La façon dont nous gérons ces erreurs déterminera si nous nous améliorons.

Enjoy your helpful videos. Curious about a word. I read the word "sanies" in Camus' novel La Peste. The English translated version says "pus-clots" but I cannot find "sanies" in the Oxford Hachette French Dictionary nor in the Larousse dictionnaire. Since Camus was Algerian-French, could this be an Algerian-French word or a misprint? Merci.
Gary could it be the word "saines" (healthy)? I have never heard of the word "sanies". Could you add the sentence maybe?

I personally write in Word, some write in free software such as Reedsy. At the end of the day you don't need an expensive computer or software, you just need to write :)
