is there a shortcut or a button to select all the clips to the right or left or do you have to use the drag function on the mouse?

Not that I know of, but it would be a nice feature.
I imagine if enough people suggest that feature in the feedback window, they might incorporate it.
Something like hitting the right or left arrow and maybe a shift key would select from the cursor position in either direction would be cool.

The easiest way, which you almost did it. Is to click on the gap in between the clips and then click on the little x that pops up and filmora will delete the gap and move all the clips over automatically. Will save you much more time.

Thanks for pointing that out - it would be handy. That being said, I like grabbing the whole group and moving them out of the way while I work at a particular section with stacked clips, text, etc, but good to know both!
