    The easiest way, which you almost did it. Is to click on the gap in between the clips and then click on the little x that pops up and filmora will delete the gap and move all the clips over automatically. Will save you much more time.

    Well, I did that this afternoon, but what I didn't see is that another part of the video had been selected too and when I deleted the clips that I thought I that I had selected I deleted also big parts I couldn't see on my screen. Then I went on working, and saving every time, so when I saw my mistake I couldn't undo anymore. Big panic, hours of great work lost. So went to File, looked for Project Backups, but the only two were from 6 days ago. Wow, had never used the backups but was horrified to see that although I had worked many hours, saved a lot, closed the application a lot, they were from 6 days ago. So, no problem, I though, I go to the one I had saved this afternoon when I closed Filmora, well, that one wasn't there either, there were two, from 4 days ago. Disaster. I am so fed up, Filmora does mess up everything. So now hours of work again, into the night and the work is not as good, the other one was far better. Also I don't manage to select two clips on two different levels, it select another clip next to it, which I don't want. A real mess, if you ask me, and they come out with evermore new versions.

    I work in crawl spaces a lot doing pest control stuff. I have a bunch of headlights. I prefer the ones that are plastic and don't poke out so far. Lately I have been using one from Ace Hardware that's rechargeable. My only complaint is that it doesn't last all day if I actually try to use it for 7 or 8 hours. So I keep a AAA powered spare in the truck. Eventually I'll get another rechargeable one. Maybe tomorrow. But I buy cheaper ones because I forgot them or lose them occasionally. I'm sure the one you showed is a good one, but it's $44 and I don't want to risk losing it. Believe it or not Dollar Tree sells headlights that are shockingly good for $1.25. I keep one in my work truck in case I lose the others 😂.

    • @ljshowto
      @ljshowto Месяц назад

      Yeah, if you are crawling around in attics and crawl spaces, you're more likely to bang into rafters and such while navigating, so yeah, it's good to have something that stays relatively close to your head. As far as losing, or misplacing, ha, I've lost quite a few, but they seemed to pop up weeks later - I now have about 5 of the smaller plastic ones. If you want to hold out on the coast headlamp, maybe getting a dozen rechargeable AAA batteries to use in the smaller headlamps would work out for the best.

    • @ljshowto
      @ljshowto Месяц назад

      The main benefit is if you have a device that only uses 2.4 Ghz frequency, you can connect to that choice once SON is disabled. It may not work if you are depending on the SON to detect it automatically. In addition, sometimes you may want to force a 5 Ghz connection if the SON gets cranky and decides that 2.4 is better, but 5 Ghz may still work faster, or the reverse.

    • @ljshowto
      @ljshowto 2 месяца назад

      I haven’t used that small charger that’s included for any of my Ridgid batteries because it takes longer to charge, but I would imagine it taking about 40 minutes for a 2aH battery and a lot longer for a 3,4, or larger. The larger chargers I showed in the video are faster, but if you don’t have any other 18v Ridgid tools, than I would just use the included one, which I actually have 4 of them because I’ve bought a few Ridgid tools that included them. 😊

      @@ljshowto Thank you for getting back to me. I have two questions for you. First you can have two separate networks correct. I 2.5 and 5 with their own network names and passwords. Second question is if you have 1 gig and the router is 20 feet away why is it so slow you had to go hardwire directly. At one gig it should not be so slow.

    • @LjLaValle
      @LjLaValle Месяц назад

      @@Kevin_Flynn Yes, you can have 2 separate connections with different passwords for each frequency. Moving on, it doesn't matter if you have 10 gig service as it's a matter of the transfer rate of the router and the device and the protocol that is being used that determines the speed. It's like having a 1000 gallon water tank with a gravity feed in a 1/2" pipe and expecting a way faster delivery if you upgrade to a 2000 gallon tank. (Ok, so maybe there's a wee bit more pressure, but you wouldn't see much of a difference). That being said, I could have dealt with the wifi connection at lower speeds, but I wanted the maximum speed I could get - around 900 bps both upload and download, so wired is the best way to go! BTW, I used to do a radio show that required uploading a 1GB file, so I really needed to get that done quickly, actually within a minute or so.

    • @KenBrothers-v4v
      @KenBrothers-v4v 2 месяца назад

      @@ljshowto - it is the same, perhaps newer??, and there’s a thin black strip that makes there be no gap like you have when the stove is fully back. It has to be removed to tip the grates for removal (once their screws are out even!!). I had considered routing the screw holes down to its bottom so that it could be slid in from the top straight down over its screws for easy removal and access to the grate screws - but, it is shaped around the lower side of the grate bracket and could not go down over it when stove all the way back. Not a recommended action, but if anyone has same setup and FYI that screwing the black cover in place, leaving the screws out of the grates, and twisting/cutting the tip only of the front catch underneath each grate will make it so the grates still set in and don’t seem to move much but can be pulled straight up to clean underneath them.

      There is no top of the cabinet as there will be a quartz countertop installed, and you really don't want to drill into that. For upper cabinets, yes, you have a choice.

    Here is my personal update as of Oct 28, 2024 - I have upgraded to Filmora version 14.0.11 and have not received a prompt to pay for an upgrade. Moving on, the last time I had paid for Filmora, was during the upgrade from Filmora 11 to Filmora 12 back in December 2022. I have been using Filmora since February 2017 and have paid in total around $170 for versions up to Filmora 12 - haven't paid anything since. I know there is some confusion with the "lifetime" and "perpetual" license and many are confused including myself. I can't even look up my invoice directly on the site as it asks me to enter an order number to send to customer support. It appears to be a "case by case" basis for some reason.
