Haha, this was my and my husband’s “unofficial official” wedding song. The one we danced to was something else but once all the old people left, we “danced” and headbanged to this. We met because of a Rob Zombie concert, actually, so this is our jam!

The song and the video are quintessential Zombie. Listeners cannot properly grasp the scope of his work without checking out this masterpiece.
And as always, Sheri is dancing front and center while Rob (who directs all his own videos) displays his usual Gomez Addams-style LOOK AT MY HOT WIFE energy and I've always loved that about the two of them.
The car “Dragula” is from the old show from the 1960s called “The Munsters”.
Except the car in the song is the music stars coach, Dracula was grandpa Munsters car and was a dragster that looked like a coffin.
We got dispatched to a "Man Down" at a Rob Zombie concert, PD advised no response from patient. We arrived on scene and found our patient in the bathroom, unconscious and unresponsive. Pulseless and apneic. (no breathing, no pulse). We started CPR... right as this song started. We did CPR to Dragula. I got the patient tubed, IO line in the humerus, V-Fib on the monitor, 3 stacked shocks (yes, this was back in the day, lol) and HOLY SHIT we got a pulse back. Got him to the hospital with all needed drugs on board. He WALKED out of the hospital 2 days later.
I doubt I will ever forget doing CPR to Dragula.

I saw zombie and Korn at the electric factory in phily pa, 5 hrs later I was completely shit faced my neck hurt from head banging and I had a broken nose from the mosh pit, great times. Rock today sucks.

No - bobbing your head to this tune is NOT just you. I had the luck to see Rob Zombie live in the mid-90's. It was intense and the crowd went nutz. During their first song the crowd ripped apart a metal security barrier in front of the stage. I spent half the show in the pit slam dancing. Also you guys might dig The Misfits - Mommy Can I Go Out and Kill Tonight. Also check out the Bad Brains - 4 legit rastas who created hardcore punk rock AND did amazing reggae. They would switch between genre during the set, from 300 mph to smooth. I suggest you check out their song Banned in DC, or Rock for Light.

I never thought of it as "dance music" until you mentioned it, but you're spot on: Nonsensical "vibe" lyrics, simple easy to move to rhythms, that's a great description of Rob Zombie.

Only Rob zombie has a way of making you feel extremely uncomfortable but also not being able to look away. He is an amazing songwriter musician and also filmmaker.
Ikr, he was very into those campy 50s horror and Sci fi movies and you can tell.
This is called Industrial Metal. Dance beats with distorted guitars and samples and noises are a staple of this sub-genre of Industrial music. You'd be surprised how many bands have this kind of sound but it's a genre that's mostly underground and because of that not many people know them.
Love watching your reactions, seeing folks that didn’t give metal a chance are finding out what they’ve been missing, Rob Zombie is also one hell of a movie director, pure horror films, enjoy !

Dragula was Herman Munsters car on the Munsters show from the 60s! Rob Zombie bought alot of the prompts from they show and put some of it in his House of 1000 Corpes!! Which he directed!! As well as Devel Reject and his wife if the woman dancing!
Never Gonna Stop is a good one by him. His wife sings the intro. Also, Rob Zombie's younger brother is a singer too. Spider One, lead singer of Powerman 5000.

Fun Fact:
Rob Zombie has always had a love for silver screen monsters and zombies, hence the name "Zombie" even when the band was White Zombie, he just took the opportunity to show that love in his first Rob Zombie album "Hellbilly Deluxe" and of course on the first video single from the album which was "Dragula".
