Considering Rob Zombie's tastes, "feast upon the cat" and the following line is probably a euphemism.
"dying (the "little death") as you "purr"" indeed
The entire song was
Please do more of Rob Zombie he has some phenomenal music that not a lot of reactors care to react to and it makes me sad.
I completely agree with this statement!
I 100% agree
Go back when white zombie
Yep. Rob has so many great solo songs.
@@Papabear076 oh yes. La Sexorcisto.
I played that for a good year.
Still love all the music on that "album"
Dragula is an actual car designed by George Barris for the Munsters. The car in the music video is the Munster Coach also designed by George Barris.
Drugster car
@@marekmarecki7065 far from that
I always wanted to have the hearse aka Koarch that Herman took a hearse and turned it into a Drag racer car hot rod and the Coffin that Grandpa Munster turned into a drag car that was called Dragula which is where the name came from
He designed the original Batmobile too
I love his love of vehicles. Black sunshine!
Hearing "feel so numb" as a kid pretty much guaranteed that i'll have the music taste that i have
living dead girl and feel so numb are some bangers to you need to listen too!

I opened this video thinking "there's NO WAY she can connect Dragula to mental health" and I'm so happy I was proven wrong
@@anarky9745 I thought the same! She did it.
Rob would absolutely love and appreciate everything you just said! Cheers!!!
This song was a banger when it first came out, in 98, and it's still a banger! It's all horror movie style.
Saw him on tour last year.this was so amazing to see live holy hell
One of my friends called him the Dr. Seuss of Metal and I can never not hear it any more.
Great neither can I now.
You have absolutely the most adorable "This riff is SICK!" face in the history of ever.
Above and beyond everything else Rob Zombie embodies one thing.....Entertainment. He has so many great songs, and does not take himself too seriously.
I went to Aftershock in Sacramento in 2022. I wanted to see Slipknot.
My darling and love was so impressed with Rob Zombie, he still talks about it to this day. I do say that he put on one hell of a performance! Very cathartic.
i have seen him twice with white zombie, and 3 times solo.. every one was a great show.
More human than human. And people. Taylor is a gift. I realize songs that have in depth lyrics.
Always loved Zombie. Never thought lyrics in here anything more than just some rhymes. Please go on
Such feel good classic
*Two Lane Blacktop* by them really an underrated & underappreciated hidden gem 💎😢
Girl, I just love your infectious energy. And the way you analyze lyrics leaves me speechless. You're always so spot on.
I would love nothing more than to see you do some Killswitch Engage. A few personal faves are End of Heartache, The Rose of Sharyn, and Daylight Dies.
Thanks for the video.

@@kariheinrichs1559I was going to say the same thing! One of my favorites!
Honestly, I think you picked up on the positive feeling that most people get from this kind of music even if you couldn't translate something more direct from the lyrics.
Similar to music from bands like Disturbed, it's the driving force of the music that people want. It's the inertia to say, "Yeah, I'm going to dig through the ditches. I'm going to burn through the evil in front of me. And I'm going to have a good time doing it."
Sometimes we all need to fix our perspectives by looking at the challenges we face, cracking a smirk and saying, "That's all you've got?"
Love this since it came out in 98 when I was in 8th grade and loved it
If we want our dear friend to get a real challenge, we should have her react to these two:
Rob Zombie - The Life And Times Of A Teenage Rock God
Rob Zombie - Ging Gang Gong De Do Gong De Laga Raga
I really like your take on interpreting this song.
I used to blast Rob Zombie while working out in the 90's. He has a few bangers.
Great reaction to a great song! Rob Zombiie also produces and/or directs really scary movies.
If you like rob, you might also like his little brother spyder. They used to be together in the band White Zombie, but they split the band as rob wanted to focus on horror metal, and spyder wanted to do sci-fi metal.... both band are awesome
Not only a great performer but a pretty good director for movies. Check out his version of Halloween. He actually got permission to do the movie from the director of the original. It's really good.
I believe Dragula was featured on House Of A 1000 Corpses when grandpa was eating dinner with Otis and they were watching The Munsters. Nice little gem in the movie. Great movie by the way directed by Rob Zombie.
That opening movie clip is from the 1920 "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". It's a good version of the story with some good effects.
The big robot is from "The Phantom Creeps", a not so good serial with Bela Legosi.
Main girl dancing in black is his wife btw. Sherri moon zombie. Shes in everything he touches.
Thats so crazy, I've always felt like this song meant to keep on pushing and going. Dig through the ditches, dig in and push through those low times, the hard shit. Burn through the witches, ignore all the negative people telling you you can't do whatever it is. Slam in the back of my dragula, turn all your negatives around and instead of holding you back fuel your fire to overcome all doubt.
Love it! This channel is the best! I'd love to see you do sun doesn't rise by mushroomhead. Or anything by mushroomhead!
Love Rob Zombie music and esp, movies, you have the best facial expressions ever, guaranteed you will have NO WRINKLES, Love your channel, MTC🤘🏻
Some music I do for lyrics and music (Rage Against the Machine, Slipknot, Bob Dylan, Ren, Nightwish, Pink Floyd), others I focus on musicality. For Rob Zombie it has always been the latter, so nice to hear some lyrical analysis on this as I haven't really thought about it as much with Rob Zombie or White Zombie, who I just find creepy and fun
Sometimes all we need to get through the day is a song that motivates us via intense beats or meaningful lyrics, either way, try to utilize the tools that make you as an individual feel pumped and get ready to "dig through the ditches". Great video! Be safe and have an EPIC day!
I use to do my house work to this album
Rob Zombie is a genius! ❤❤
Dragula is a great song
I love your honest reaction!
I love rob zombie and this song is catchy, and i love your reaction, it's like your grooving around and having a good time
Thunder Kiss '65 is my fav Zombie song. Ok Ok, it isnt Rob Zombie, it was his first band with his brother, White Zombie. But 2 of my favorite mental health songs are both by Metallica: Nothing Else Matters and Damage, INC. The first one is soft and mellow, the second one is pure scream therapy. Yeah baby!!
You should react to idiosyncrasy by Korn. It’s from their 2019 album “The Nothing” and it’s just a really good album that has a bunch of depth put in it. Like idiosyncrasy and The End Begins
Absolute banger! You can't go wrong with Rob Zombie. May I suggest Supercharger Heaven by his band White Zombie.
HOLY WHAT?! You reacted to songs from two of my favorite 90s albums, all in one day! ♥️🥹
I know when i was younger, i would put on Rob Zombie or Rammstein when i was angry as a release of my anger. Today, it is harder for me to work through.
I always loved the video with it's clips of classic horror movies. 🤘
If youve ever watched the original Matrix movie, you've heard this song. It was playing at the club where Neo met Trinity for the first time.
Rob is a huge fan of the horror genre, and more specific, the older horror movies. He also loves the older TV shows such as The Munsters. I believe the car he drives in this video is an homage to that very car that Herman Munster drove in the show. And nevermind you just said that you knew that.
A Rob Zombie concert is so much fun!
Art moves people. The artist has their own meaning behind what they do. But once it's unleashed on the public it becomes something else entirely.
Dragula was built by Grandpa Munster after Herman Munster lost the family car, The Munster Koach, in a drag race. So, the Dragula was built to win the Koach back on the drag strip.
Awesome song and video
You should try a few songs from the band called nothing more. Like(Jenny, God went north, fade in/fade out) all deeply emotion songs
I love watching Taylor's breakdown's of the videos, the lyrics and I especially really appreciate how much the music resonates with her and acts as her outlet when discussing her past and her Trauma, but I also have to say that she's just so damn adorkable when she's rocking out. I paused the video to make this comment. And she's making funniest little face and it's just perfect.
And I wanted to say that all of that is what makes her amazing, not just as a person but as a doctor and a reactor, and honestly, I just hope she continues to do this amazing for a long time because she is quite exquisite and amazing.
Love the channel and keep up the great work.
PS: If you're planning to continue going down the Rob Zombie rabbit hole, be ready to see that lady pop up in all of his videos because that's his wife, Sherri Moon Zombie
Now that you have covered a Rob Zombie song, you really should also take a look at White Zombie too!
Greatest director on house of a 1000 corpses, Munsters,
I loved his previous band White Zombie, his solo stuff is okay-good. Of his solo stuff, that I've heard, Living Dead Girl is my favorite song
I just love Rob & Sheri, they're like the generation down from Alice Cooper & his awesome wife
The thing about Rob Zombies lyrics is that they're based on a lot of old sci-fi, horror, and Russ Meyers movies. If you've seen the movies he bases his stuff off of then the lyrics make more sense.
Omg you get it I love this....
You're awesome
This album has a music video for every single song some are live. My favorite song from the album is called Demonoid Phenomenon. It is hands down the heaviest song he's ever created. The very second Demonoid Phenomenon starts it is so dark and heavy. Let It All Bleed Out is equally as nasty and great. That song is from the album Educated Horses which is a very unique album title.
I love Rob Zombie’s grooves. Even if his lyrics are a bit nonsensical at times, the groove is good and the song has energy.
How about some Pink Floyd??? It seems you might find a nugget in so many of their timeless tunes. Two albums, Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall might give you
the fact that it came out in 1998 from hellbilly deluxe rob zombie and its has such a killer groove this sounds just as crisp and clean as the one from the album but thaty album was chuck full of killer grooves and psychedelic feel she clearly is getting something special
This was always my first song to perform during any karaoke night. It gave me a feel for the audience I had to deal with.
She heard this on the radio and acting like it's her first time experiencing the song. I love that she gives her opinion on most good heavy songs... though most mainstream music isn't heavy. PS I take it she never watched the movie House of a 1000 corpses.
Seen him live couple times awesome showman

Would love to hear your analysis of Aqualung by Jethro Tull. I think you would enjoy the viewpoints and story telling maybe?
His songs are a lot about muscle cars and also dragula is the car that The Munsters drove the dragula Plus this song was playing in the first Matrix when Keanu met Trinity
I love to see someone discovering this in 2024, also a therapist which is a mentaly healthy person losing his shit on a song i was listening when i was maybe 12!! 🤭🤣
Amazing and caring energy, keep going!!
Back in the day rob zombie was the first real concert i ever went to here in Madison WI. I would love to take this girl to a zombie concert and stand dead center stage in the moshpit and just rock for an hour or two.
Rob has some fun stuff! Please don’t exclude songs from when he was a part of White Zombie. This was obviously prior to his Rob Zombie days, but the music is just as good.
For example, you could check out “Thunder Kiss ‘65”. Great stuff! Thank you for your positivity
Love rob zombie.would love to see your reaction to his movie house of a thousand corpses. Whew damn.
Dig through the ditches= keep working hard
Burn through the witches= fight your demons
And slam in the back of my dragula= spend time with friends
Mental health advice hidden behind a driving instrumental and freaky visuals!
The video of Shane Gillis and Matt McCusker singing this song at Skankfest is awesome
Fun fact: Rob Zombie grew up in Salem Massachusetts. Could have something to do with the witches in this song. Also, his wife Sherry Moon Zombie is the woman in the video when the line “do it baby” comes in.
close, Rob grew up in Haverhill, MA (pronounced Hay-vrill) which is only about 15-20 mins north of Salem, down I95...and his parents were Carnival workers. so, he grew up watching old scary movies with little to no supervision. hence, his love for old horror.
Talking about about mental health - a girl should check out the band Bloodywood. They are an Indian heavy metal band from New Delhi. Most of their songs are about things like depression, bullying, self-confidence and so on. Please concider them. Thank you.
If I can suggest a song, I'll suggest Meshugah - "I am Colossus" which is perfect for a mental health analysis because it's very much about a certain area of mental health.
I wondered how you were going to tie this song into a mental health journey! Well done (if a teensy bit corny)!
Zombie is a horror movie fanatic that’s why he did House of 1000 Corpses, Devil’s Rejects, Fridays the 13Th. You can see a young lady ina Russian hat in the video. That’s his wife Sherrie Moon Zombie who started as his dancer and then became his muse and was in all but a couple of his movies.
I think you meant to say Halloween, as I don't recall him doing Friday the 13th.
@@SoundwaveX7 damn you’re right I don’t know what I was thinking
"Knuckle crack the bone, 21 to win" We only have 10 fingers and 10 toes (20) so if you have 21 knuckles to crack (not normal) you win
Whoa, 0:55 Pearl and Art the clown in the same shot, that's crazy
Rob perfected "Evil Disco".
His words not mine.
I swear.
the image of Rob Zombie headbanging with the devil in the car from the Munsters a la Night at the Roxbury never ceases to make me giggle
Funny how she makes this cute. I was hated on for this in 3rd grade when it came out 😂
I always celebrate her facial carnival each time, she's goddamn hilarious!
