It wasn't straight forward and since I'm self taught, I had trouble figuring out some stuff I mean I'll confess that I didn't even use the onboard effects (because I didn't know how to use them. 😅). It's a pretty capable board and if we get funds to get another mixer, I might they get this again (WING is nice but outside the price range and not practical for our church size). If Behringer are to do a V2 of the X32, they should include Dante as standard, it's criminal it's not included.
Everything becoming more expensive (wing has risen in price like ~35%), this is still very VERY good option if you need live desk for stages where there's different act on it every single day or even multiples every day... where you don't have the time to get prepare or don't runt he same show every time. x32 is FAST regarding how quickly you can reach everything that matters in live situation. Many other manufacturers are stripping the buttons and knobs and moving to touch screens, and that makes them SLOW and cumbersome in comparison.

Hello, I'm a total beginner when it comes to recording technology. I'm trying to familiarize myself with it somehow. When I was looking for a suitable mixing console for home recording purpose, I was looking at the X32 and I have the following problem: I noticed that the device has a lot of XLR connections , but only 6 line inputs. You will use a bus mix for this. Then, send that bus mix to an XLR output using the Routing -> Outputs screen. Lastly, tap SENDS ON FADER, select that Bus, and turn up anything you want in the monitor. Side note, you'll want this to be a pre-fader setup. Select the bus, navigate to the SETUP screen, and select "pre fader" for the configuration.
We'll have to get back to you on that. The X32 is the only one we've used of the 3. But we're about to get our hands on the SQ5! And hopefully one of the Yamaha boards as well.
For a stereo mix, you'll need to use a pair of bus mixes for each IEM. For a mono mix, just one bus for each IEM. Then, route each bus to the desired output. You can connect to XLR outs on the back of the mixer or a digital snake.
