It's 12-23-2019 and "updating my PS4 from safe mode" did it. I was honestly thinking about skipping that one cause I thought that sounds like a ridiculous fix to such an issue but it worked for me. Thanks over 9,000 my friend.
Trapgodsquidward the one he mentions at 2:05 it's not actually a "loose screw" as described by the OP though, it's a manual way of driving the mechanism that was deliberately put there by Sony. Turning it anti/counterclockwise will remove a stuck disc, turning it clockwise probably has the effect of resetting the mechanism. It's a black plastic cross screw head that should take no effort to turn, but you'll have to turn it for quite a while as it's a slow process. (for every turn of a screwdriver the disc would only move a few millimetres)
Amazing commentary and very easy explanation, you're a legend my friend!! I forgot to mention I decided just to try and do step 3 with the update and it foxed straight away. I know my screws aren't loose because I used to open it up for regular dust cleaning. Thank you so much.
@@Marc._.vidal10785 I use a compressed can air duster.
