Mine has been doing it lately, I turned on it's side and it seems to help for now. This will definitely be the next step if it happens again, might go ahead and do it anyway
fr i only saw like three videos for this fix but were all temporary. i wonder why this video never came up especially since it was in 2016. makes you think if youtube hiding more stuff from us 😤
ooooh that was awesome idea, because of this issue i start to download from the ps store to play without of any interruption. thaaaanx dude, from now add one fan to ur list
I've got this problem after a couple of months (old PS4 but it lasted this long). Finally able to sleep without PS4 waking me up in the middle of the night!
This problem was driving me crazy, I’d literally tried every tip/fix that I’d read online and none of them worked. Until I followed your advice. I can’t tell you how relieved I am that my PS4 doesn’t spit discs out mid game anymore. Thank you so much for your advice! You sir are a hero 🙌🏻
4 years looking for a solid solution and I have finally stumbled on your video. I do not know how the RUclips algorithm didn’t pick it up earlier! Thanks for this!
This video saved me from breaking my PS4 to buy a new one, that is great appreciated. For anyone like me who is not usually a person who fixes thing the Torx is a “electrical” size T8 make sure it has the small hole in the middle. Hope this helps anyone!
Been an hour since I applied tape. So far it works! Update: One month later and it still works 1yr? Update: Still works lol 2yr Update: Still works. No random disc ejections. Also recently bought a ps5 finally
This is probably the first time I have ever commented on a video. I gotta say this is super easy and actually works. Thank you for the video! That double beeping noise was about to make me go insane.
I just did this fix today and will be commenting back with an update after a few months or so. Thanks for taking your time and uploading this fix 🙏🏼 I hated hearing the disk drive go off while sleeping.
This video is a lifesaver I watched a ton of other videos that gave the standard fix’s all to no avail, quite surprised that none of them talked about it, thanks for helping me save my old friend!!
Had the same issue a few years ago, tried a lot of different things, then found this video, put some scotch tape over the sensor, and it never ejected any discs or beeped annoyingly ever again. I solved the issue over a year ago, but I came over here to say thanks! You saved me a lot of frustration, seeing as how I use my PS4 every single day for professional means. :)
Holy crap. After over a year of dealing with this problem off and on it started beeping and ejecting literally nonstop for the last few weeks. I had tried all of the suggested fixes (aside from the scratch thing) and was seconds away from throwing my PS4 through my TV after it ejected Dark Souls 3 just when I was finally about to finish off a boss that I was attempting for what felt like the 10th time. Fortunately I was able to chill out, find your video among a lot of other useless/sketchy solutions, and perform the operation. I just did it a few hours ago, but the fact that it has gone even this long without tormenting me is a miracle. I also like the fact that it can easily be undone if necessary. I never comment on anything but had to in this case because this video saved me some serious frustration and possibly a good bit of money too - thank you for your service sir.
+Alexander Lukens Man, thanks for commenting! I totally felt the same way, so when I figured this fix out I made this video hoping others in that situation would find it. :) You're very welcome. Glad I could help!
You've just saved my life with this. I got RDR2 and in the last few days I couldn't even play 10 minutes without the console ejecting the disc. It's happened a few times here and there through the years (first day purchase), but nothing like has happened lately. I tried every "tip" (remove rubber band, switch off and on, etc) but your method seem to be definitive, used a flat screwdriver and it worked just fine. Thank you so much, I just gave a BIG like and subscribed, it's the least I can do. :D
Love you! Been suffering with this for months, I was too scared to open up my PS4 and tried every other method to no success. Only one that works! 10/10!
Awww man, I've tried so many of those "solutions" that you've talked about in the video and neither of them worked until' I did this one. I know it works because when I press the eject button manually, it doesn't eject the disc, but that's ok because I can eject through the application. I've been trying to fix this problem for like the pass 2 months & you my friend are the truth. Thanks a million.
Had a RUclips account for many years and never feel compelled to comment on anything but this is ridiculous. Nearly 3 years my Playstation has done this. I’d fallen for the Playstation official method of messing with the rotating screw (despite having googled how it was put together to see what the screw done so knowing full well it was achieving nothing) which SEEMED to work. You are a life-saver and this is easily the most accessible and well presented tutorial videos I’ve ever seen. Genuinely thank you.
Found this video through reddit after years of facing this issue and I can't thank you enough for this fix Cheers from Malaysia and keep up the awesome work man :)
Did this yesterday after almost throwing my ps4 out of the window. Good thing I didn't, I thought to myself "maybe there is a way to disable the function", but I never thought It would have to be through hardware. So I came across this video, and a problem arose, in which I didn`t have the appropriate tool for the screws, but I was so pissed at the moment I was willing to break them. But a pointy knife was the solution for the screws, a lot of pressure and the screws went away with just a little trouble. So far the PS4 is working great, no more ejecting. Thanks dude, you deserve a medal.
+Fernando Cardoso Silveira Glad it worked for you! Yeah, luckily those security screws are short, so they're not too hard to get out. Thanks for leaving a comment!
+Fernando Cardoso Silveira Glad it worked for you! Yeah, luckily those security screws are short, so they're not too hard to get out. Thanks for leaving a comment!
Just popping in to confirm that this does work and it seems like it is a permanent fix so far. A much better fix than the standard “pull out the rubber part” suggestion I’ve seen all across RUclips. Thank you very much!
I am literally subscribing because of this video. You have cured this plague that has been haunting my PS4 for so long. I’m so happy to have finally resolved this dumb problem. THANK YOU!
Thanks for the tip! Opened it up and instead of covering the contact point, I cleaned the dust out from the area behind the eject button. Been a full day without the dreaded beeping so far. Will definitely cover it if it starts up again.
Did this a few months ago after having on-again/off-again problems with my ps4 attempting to eject a phantom disk. It seamed to only happen after ejecting a disk using the button. Since I usually download all my games, I could ignore this, until my son wanted to watch a DVD/BluRay. Once a disk was inserted and removed, random beeping and ejecting would occur. I tried many other fixes with limited success. It became so annoying that I nearly bought a new PS4. Since performing this fix, I haven't had a single problem. Thank you so much! This really works!
You're a life saver, I've kept a shortcut to your video from the first time I had the eject disc error, and when it became recurrent, I fixed the issue right away! Thanks a lot!
I have a launch PS4 and started actively using it again since KH3 came out. This video is still relevant to this day. Thanks so much for helping me with my issue!
Glad to help! This video always gets a spike in views for a few days after a big game comes out. Last time it was Red Dead 2. Hard to believe there are still so many people dealing with this problem! Seems like nearly all launch PS4s must suffer from it. 😕
You figured it out good job I kept hoping through a software update they would give the option to deactivate the eject button and like you stated eject with the remove disc software option instead
You are a God. I've been having this problem for 8 months now. I thought about this and started searching for videos of people that tried it. Your video is the first I saw. Thank you soon much
I had to come back here 2 weeks later after trying this procedure to fix the ejecting disc issue on my ps4 whenever playing disc games. All I have to say is that you’re a genius. Thank you so much for presenting this way to cure that issue for good!! I tried other suggestions from another video and none of them did a damn thing, but i was recommended your video and My ps4 has had no issue at all with ejecting discs again. More people need to see this video for issues like that. God bless!!
Hey man, just wanted to show my appreciation after the fix. Mine has been doing it for ~2 years and the belt drive is extremely worn and it was actually struggling to pull the disc back in so I knew I needed to finally fix the console. So yeah this is a permanent fix and so simple I'm actually baffled as to why won't didn't do a recall.
Thank you so much for this! Two years of discs ejecting mid-game and incessant beeping has been resolved! I tweaked your fix a little. Instead of covering the sensor, I taped down the metal arm.
It has been 24 hours since I implemented the fix and this IS the solution to the diisc ejection and beeping problem. I covered up the sensor with tape and the problem is GONE! Saved me a huge unnecessary repair bill so thank you, SuperPope. The Torx screws were a pain to put back so I left them off.
Fantastic! The problem appears to be fixed, we actually got to finish a game without the disc being spit out. Thanks for this video, we tried all the other fixes but this is the one that really works and it's easy to do, plus we gave the fan and everything a good clean while the cover was off. Running beautifully and we have saved on a repair shop bill, thanks mate.
With the new consoles releasing this year, we felt trapped into waiting for the launch and just living a mundane life without DOA Xtreme 3 Scarlet. But this fixed it! Thank you!
Awesome video. Been looking for a solution for months and this is the only thing that worked! Thank you so much for posting this. Pro tip: The screws require a T9 SECURITY torx bit. Make sure it's the correct size and that it's security (i.e. that it has the hole in the center of the bit).
THANK YOU! Every other fix I’ve done has just been temporary, and they worked okay until today when my disc ejected like 5 times in a day. I had the Torx security screws in my PS4 but I still managed to jimmy it open without too much damage (i hope). You sir, are a lifesaver.
Just dropping in to give you ALL the kudos man, I have a launch PS4 still and it started doing this recently. It literally woke me up in the middle of the night last night after I completely turned it off, it was just beeping constantly trying to eject a disc that wasn’t even in there anymore. Woke up this morning, popped some electric tape over that sensor and I’m all good again! You’re the best!
first of all, thank you so much because this actually works! it's been weeks and my ps4 hasn't ejected the disc at all so I can confidently claim that it'll never happen again. second of all, this actually made me walk into a home depot and purchase a tool to fix the damn thing myself which in and of itself is pretty incredible so thank you for that
You sir deserves a medal, this easy to follow instructions really helped me fix the auto eject and random beeps of my PS4, now I can play with no eject issues and also I cleaned up my ps4 and now its quiet as well, killing two birds with one stone lol, thanks man
First time commenting on a RUclips video. I bought a secondhand PS4 for cheap because the owner said it won’t stop ejecting discs. I was able to fix the problem in less than 10mins. Thank you bro! 👏🏻
Yo I wanna thank you so much for putting this video out! My ps4 would eject disc randomly and even just beep over and over again when it was off. I taped that stupid little piece off and all my problems are gone! Thought my laser went bad again or something (changed my self) thanks man, you saved me from throwing my ps4 against the wall lol
Hi David, I wanted to thank you so much for this video! Saved me having to spend $500 on a new PS4! I had tried all the other suggestions from other people including Sony and this is the ONLY one that actually worked. I am shocked at how quiet my PS4 is now too. THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for this video! I have had this issue for years and tried (what I thought was every method) to fix it. This worked for me, you truly are a lifesaver and saved me from purchasing a new PS4. Glad that the beeping and non stop ejecting is over ! 👍
thanks David my brother and I both had the same issue his was obviously easier to get fixed just a good "reset" for his console. I tried that and it worked....for two days, only to comeback with a rage. I had electric tape and managed to situate the issue I really appreciate your help
Thank you so much. I’ve been dealing with this issue for YEARS and just kinda suffered because it was only bad when the temperature was cold or if it was humid out but it’s been really bad lately so I finally bit the bullet and tried this instead of the usual methods recommended. I can finally sleep without being woken up by the beeping! THANK YOU!
Thanks man, this worked like a charm. Mine started doing this after 5 years, and it was so annoying to keep hearing the PS4 beep or hear the CD Rom try to eject and non-existing disc. I never use discs anyway, so I was ready to forgo the CD Rom, but it's good that this fix still allows you to use it.
Saw this video a while back, was putting it off until recently when I got fed up with the constant ejecting on my 4 year old machine. Actually a pretty easy and reliable fix, all you need is a torx head or flat head of the right size and some scotch tape and it's as easy as that. Thanks for the tip 👍
You sir are amazing. Had this issue for the last 5 years, got a PS4 day one and 6 months later it started bugging out, today you helped me fix this. I have no idea how i didnt see this video sooner. Sorry for the bad english, not my first languege. Bless
Just got my torx screws in the mail today bought electrical tape and done the deed bro.... IT FREAKING WORKED!!!! havnt had a auto eject problem all day sure its only been a day but do you realize that 22$ just saved me 2 or 3 hundred 1000 thumbs up
Bro you are a LEGEND! I have been dealing with this problem for years! Constantly getting disconnected from FIFA matches cause my disk was getting spit out, tried every fix I could find... So glad I got this video recommend. Thank you so much!!
I know this is a relatively old video but I just wanna let you know That In 2022 this fixed the issue. I really appreciate your step by step guide. Helped a ton.
Haha RUclips recommended this to me again, after having already watched this years before :D Didn't remember if I left a comment then, but thank you for making this help video!
My PS4 with the constant beeping at times was driving me crazy but now thanks to this really helpful video everything is back to normal! thanks a lot man! :)
Thank you so much. This fixed my problem. I was ready to take it into a store and pay a bunch of money I’m sure but my friends asked if I had visited RUclips first and I came across your video which helped me. My PlayStation was randomly ejecting the desk during the game, and then it recently got to the point where even if there was no disc in (I downloaded the new Mortal Kombat) It was beeping continuously trying to eject a disc that wasn’t there.
I can not thank you enough, I have tried this method and my PlayStation has not auto ejected in 3 days which is a record. You have earned a subscriber!!
+I jeddel99 I Does it have a button you have to press to eject, or do you only have to touch it? This fix should work as long as you have touch sensitive buttons.
You're my hero! My wife and I were facing buying a PS4 Pro because of this random eject shenanigans. Only had to spend $5 on the torx screwdriver and it's fixed now, thanks man!
Excellent video mate, I was at my wits end and about to look into service and repair places when I found this video, now I can get back to my stress relief
Fixed my problem, thanks alot, mine just start having this problem, I got a day one console, this is the only problem I've ever had with my ps4. Again thanks for the video.
Walter White same here with my day one console. just started happening to me yesterday and I was wondering why cause I had no disc in and I hardly use discs lately. But the PS4 has been pretty reliable all this time I must say. Good to know it's a relatively easy fix and I haven't completely lost the disc drive
You just saved me. Had tried every other fix and none of them were working. Was thinking about just buying a new one. I and my wallet thank you. LIFESAVER!!!
You earned a sub. I literally just did this now and its working...I was scared bc the other things sometimes we're a temp fix and those things stopped working and every time, my disk would spit it out right when I put the disc in and I just used this tape trick and its been working for over 2 hrs so far...Lol 2 hrs of non interrupting mk11. Thank you so much. Irk how I didn't find this video before bc I looked all over on RUclips and Google and never found this trick before ever.
Thanks David. Just finished operating on my Ps4 after two days of back to back beeping. Dropping my comment and like now before i forget. thanks again bro. Love from Nigeria
Pablo Escalante strip it down and apply new thermal paste and clean the fans while your at it. I had to do it for ghost of tsushima, it sounded like a jet engine
I am from Hong Kong. I bought a day-1 PS4 for my son and the annoying disc ejecting problem occurred frequently since about two years ago. My son was mad with it when he was in the middle of online FIFA game, which virtually is the only game he plays with the PS4. Today, I saw your video and have just performed the fix accordingly. Hope it will be a permanent fix. When I was young, Sony used to be a very prestigious brand. Now, it is sad to see the big name faded to such a level. It is a totally unacceptable flaw which shows that Sony rushed out the product without thorough testing. Apart from hardware issue, couldn't the designers of the console do anything in software aspects to disable disc ejection while in the middle of a game? When the problem happens, it will make you look like surrendering to your opponent.
This happened on my day one ps3 then I got a later brand where you physically had to push in the button. Irk why they went back to this thing where you barely touch it and it elects bc they did the same thing as ps3. They made a leather gen ps4 where you have to physically press the eject button in. I guess they did a repeat of the ps3 to make ppl buy another system down the line? But lucky for ppl, we have this guy that made this video that solved the problem.
Thank you so much! This ejecting noise was stopping me from playing The Last of Us Part II longer than 10-20 minutes. Tried a million fixes and none worked. But yours did, perfectly!! Infinite thanks !!
You sir are the absolute best. I tried every single method on the internet. Even brought it in for repair and they told me my ps4 is “unfixable”. Tried this method and all my woes are gone. Now I don’t have to purchase a new one.
Just popping back in to say, I followed this mans instructions 2 years ago and it’s been perfect ever since. Thank you again kind sir!
Mine has been doing it lately, I turned on it's side and it seems to help for now. This will definitely be the next step if it happens again, might go ahead and do it anyway
This gives me hope
That's awesome. I'm guna do it now
Same here, work's like a charm
How do i put a disc in fyen

OMG YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!! NO BEEPING, NO MORE EJECTING, JUST SILENCE. THANKS AGAIN
+chris bueno :D
best fix , remove the ruber foot under the eject this is the problem and need no tool and don't void the warrantly
+TheSweeTiger Chun ...did you actually watch the video? I point out that removing the foot didn't do anything for me.
I've got this problem after a couple of months (old PS4 but it lasted this long). Finally able to sleep without PS4 waking me up in the middle of the night!
Awesome. Glad to hear it!
You are an absolute saint. My ps4 was having spasms every 5 minutes and nothing worked to solve it. You saved me $150 in sony repair fees
Sweet! That's what I like to hear. Happy gaming! :)
They told me the same bullshit

I have a launch PS4 and started actively using it again since KH3 came out. This video is still relevant to this day. Thanks so much for helping me with my issue!
Glad to help! This video always gets a spike in views for a few days after a big game comes out. Last time it was Red Dead 2. Hard to believe there are still so many people dealing with this problem! Seems like nearly all launch PS4s must suffer from it. 😕
You figured it out good job I kept hoping through a software update they would give the option to deactivate the eject button and like you stated eject with the remove disc software option instead
Tried this earlier today. Looks like it worked. Thank you for sharing this method. Saved me money and frustration. You have a new subscriber😄
Glad I could help! Thanks for the sub! :)
You are a God. I've been having this problem for 8 months now. I thought about this and started searching for videos of people that tried it. Your video is the first I saw. Thank you soon much
Glad to help! :)
God bless!!
Thanks for coming back! Glad to help. :)
Glad to hear my video helped out! :)
Thank you so much for this! Two years of discs ejecting mid-game and incessant beeping has been resolved!
I tweaked your fix a little. Instead of covering the sensor, I taped down the metal arm.
Glad to help! Interested to know if your method holds. I haven’t tried it.
You the man i picked up a ps4 for $60 with this problem jaja now me n my son are having a blast for cheap.
@MannyGotit awesome! 😄
Glad to hear it! You're very welcome. :)
With the new consoles releasing this year, we felt trapped into waiting for the launch and just living a mundane life without DOA Xtreme 3 Scarlet. But this fixed it! Thank you!
Sweet! Glad my video helped. :)
I had to say from tightening the screw, removing the rubber foot etc. I've tried them all and this is THE ONLY fix that actually worked. Thank you.
You’re very welcome! :)
Same here man.. SOOO GREATFUL!
I'm not sure how old is this video, but i just want to thank the person who upload it... You saved my day brother :D
You’re very welcome! Glad I could help. :)
Thank you. The hardest part for me was finding the tool, but your video is what truly fixed my problem after years.
Sweet! Thanks for letting me know. You’re very welcome!
Awesome video. Been looking for a solution for months and this is the only thing that worked! Thank you so much for posting this.
Pro tip: The screws require a T9 SECURITY torx bit. Make sure it's the correct size and that it's security (i.e. that it has the hole in the center of the bit).
Yeah, sorry I failed to mention the size in the video. Glad my video helped you, though!
This is THEE definitive solution for this. Thank you for making this video. I’ve been dealing with this for YEARS.
You’re very welcome! Glad you were able to find it.
THANK YOU! Every other fix I’ve done has just been temporary, and they worked okay until today when my disc ejected like 5 times in a day. I had the Torx security screws in my PS4 but I still managed to jimmy it open without too much damage (i hope). You sir, are a lifesaver.
Glad you found my video! Happy to help. :)
Thanks for letting me know! You’re very welcome. :)
first of all, thank you so much because this actually works! it's been weeks and my ps4 hasn't ejected the disc at all so I can confidently claim that it'll never happen again.
second of all, this actually made me walk into a home depot and purchase a tool to fix the damn thing myself which in and of itself is pretty incredible so thank you for that
+Annie H Heh! Glad to hear it! You're very welcome. :)
Been looking for a confirmation comment. About to finally fix my damn console.
John Nix It definitely works. Just did it to mine and it went from beeping every 2 seconds to peace and quiet!!
@@lostkitten_7 can you still use the eject button though?
You can’t use the button on the console to eject, but you can still press “option” on your controller and choose “remove disc”.
Good video. I did this a few months ago. Before watching this video. And it works. I did it on a launch PS4. Four months later and no issues.
bosscadillac thank you I also have the launch ps4 so thanks for confirming it works
bosscadillac I also have the launch PS4 free from 🌮🎮TacoBell I won it👍🏽
You sir deserves a medal, this easy to follow instructions really helped me fix the auto eject and random beeps of my PS4, now I can play with no eject issues and also I cleaned up my ps4 and now its quiet as well, killing two birds with one stone lol, thanks man
Awesome! Glad to hear it. You're very welcome!
First time commenting on a RUclips video. I bought a secondhand PS4 for cheap because the owner said it won’t stop ejecting discs. I was able to fix the problem in less than 10mins. Thank you bro! 👏🏻
Awesome! 😄 Glad to help!
3 months after I did your fix: not a single unwanted beep from my PS4.
Thanks so much
+alanpk0 Sweet. Glad to hear it. :)
THANK YOU!
Thanks for the comment! You're very welcome! So glad I could help. 😀
For years i have been dealing with this issue. Having the disk eject every time made me not want play my PS 4 anymore. Thank you David for the fix.
I felt the same way! Happy to help. :)
This worked perfectly for me. I don't give a like on many RUclips videos, but you, sir, receive a like.
+Timmy Somary Thanks for the like! Glad my video helped you out. :)
your a legend, I have been dealing with this for YEARS, you have saved my sanity good sir
+noah medley :) Happy to help!
My heart literally leaped with joy when this fix actually worked! Thank you so much!
That’s what I like to hear! 😀 Glad to help.
Thank you so much for this video! I have had this issue for years and tried (what I thought was every method) to fix it. This worked for me, you truly are a lifesaver and saved me from purchasing a new PS4. Glad that the beeping and non stop ejecting is over ! 👍
Sorry you had to deal with it for years, but I’m glad you found my video! You’re very welcome. :)
@@SuperpopeGaming Yeah its really damn helpful! Everytime I see someone facing the same issue I link them to this video
Skuumzi Awesome, I appreciate it!
thanks David my brother and I both had the same issue his was obviously easier to get fixed just a good "reset" for his console. I tried that and it worked....for two days, only to comeback with a rage. I had electric tape and managed to situate the issue I really appreciate your help
+Joshua Hernandez Cool. Glad I could help!
Bro, you are a godsend. I’ve been dealing with that everyday, and now that the problem is fixed I can enjoy it until the PS5’s launch
Awesome. You’re very welcome, man.
THANK YOU!
You’re very welcome! Hope you slept well last night! 😄
Glad I could help, man!
You're welcome! Glad to help. :)
PERFECT!!! saved me a lot of money as was thinking about getting a new console. Thanks David 👍
+james herbert That's what I like to hear! Glad to help. :)
I've been trying to fix this for years and somehow I only found your video today. And it worked flawlessly. Many thanks !
Awesome! Glad I could help. :)
You sir are amazing. Had this issue for the last 5 years, got a PS4 day one and 6 months later it started bugging out, today you helped me fix this. I have no idea how i didnt see this video sooner. Sorry for the bad english, not my first languege. Bless
Your English is great! I’m glad you found my video and that I could help. :)
An excellent fix especially during this time when I can't leave the house and rely on this system to de-stress. Thank you for this instructional!
Glad I could help! 😊
Just got my torx screws in the mail today bought electrical tape and done the deed bro.... IT FREAKING WORKED!!!! havnt had a auto eject problem all day sure its only been a day but do you realize that 22$ just saved me 2 or 3 hundred 1000 thumbs up
+Tracy unknown Awesome. :) Thanks for letting me know! Have a great Christmas weekend!
Which one did your order
+Cristian Torres I linked to a set that has the right size in the video description.
Bro you are a LEGEND! I have been dealing with this problem for years! Constantly getting disconnected from FIFA matches cause my disk was getting spit out, tried every fix I could find... So glad I got this video recommend. Thank you so much!!
Sorry you dealt with it for so long, but I’m glad I could help!
I know this is a relatively old video but I just wanna let you know That In 2022 this fixed the issue. I really appreciate your step by step guide. Helped a ton.
Glad to know I could help you out! You’re very welcome. :)
Haha RUclips recommended this to me again, after having already watched this years before :D
Didn't remember if I left a comment then, but thank you for making this help video!
Heh! Well, thanks for the comment. Glad I could help! :)
this post has saved me from throwing my ps4 at the wall. Ur a gentleman sir.
+upeenarse Why thank you! :) Glad to help.
Yeah word that beeping makes me lose my mind
My PS4 with the constant beeping at times was driving me crazy but now thanks to this really helpful video everything is back to normal! thanks a lot man! :)
Sweet! Glad to hear it. Happy I could help!
You’re very welcome, man! Glad I could help. 😊
I can not thank you enough, I have tried this method and my PlayStation has not auto ejected in 3 days which is a record. You have earned a subscriber!!
+Evan Basgall Thank you, sir! Glad to be of service. Appreciate the sub!
David Rutledge
David Rutledge how do you eject through the application?
+bry v-009 With the game highlighted on the PS4 menu, press the "option" button on your controller and select "Remove disc".
David Rutledge thanks brother. you totally saved my PS. I must have bent that sensor when I was cleaning the fan. thanks again!!!
OH MY GOD! My prayers have been Answered! Thank you my ejecting has finally stopped woohooo!!!
You Sir are going places
+Jesus Lopez Ha! Glad to help. :)
Hey man ! I have the same problem, but my ps4 is black and I have only 2 screws in my ps4, its not the same as yours, is it still ok ?
+I jeddel99 I Does it have a button you have to press to eject, or do you only have to touch it? This fix should work as long as you have touch sensitive buttons.
I Master Danky I At the left side of the ps4 it has a sticker but its kinda hard to peel it of
You're my hero! My wife and I were facing buying a PS4 Pro because of this random eject shenanigans. Only had to spend $5 on the torx screwdriver and it's fixed now, thanks man!
You’re very welcome! Glad I could help. :)
Excellent video mate, I was at my wits end and about to look into service and repair places when I found this video, now I can get back to my stress relief
Glad to help! :)
You’re a legend for this buddy. Big props!
Thank you! Glad I could help.
Fixed my problem, thanks alot, mine just start having this problem, I got a day one console, this is the only problem I've ever had with my ps4. Again thanks for the video.
+Walter White You're welcome! Glad to help.
😁Glad to help, man! You’re very welcome.
Thankyou @SuperPope Gaming. This has been an on again, off again issue for the last 5 years. Using your method, it's finally fixed!
Glad to hear it! You’re very welcome. :)
Sony has failed us all
You can send it for repair lol.
Totally recommended, this works as charm! Thank you, David.
+Alejandro Irias You're very welcome!
So glad to hear it! Thanks for the sub! :)
Thanks David. Just finished operating on my Ps4 after two days of back to back beeping. Dropping my comment and like now before i forget. thanks again bro. Love from Nigeria
Glad to hear it! Thanks for the like. Happy I could help! 😀
Ahhhh... you hear that? That beeping...its gone. Its finally gone!
😄I know the feeling!
Now my PS4 only sounds like a Rocket taking off while playing Rocket league
I have this issue but with the power button
@@rafaelreyesvazquez383 I'm having the same issue these days 😓. Did you manage to fix the problem?
+Eddie Wan Glad to help! Yes, I wish it wouldn't quit during a game because the disc ejects. I think that's a bad design.
My bad, my auto correct butchered my last comment.
So grateful! I’ve been putting up with a PlayStation that sporadically ejects the disc for years. Thanks so much for making this.
You’re very welcome! Glad to help. :)
Thank you so much! This ejecting noise was stopping me from playing The Last of Us Part II longer than 10-20 minutes. Tried a million fixes and none worked. But yours did, perfectly!! Infinite thanks !!
Glad I could help! Enjoy that game! I’m still working my way through it myself, and I love it.
A million Thanks!
Did it today, hardest part was finding a suitable screwdriver
Seems to have solved it for me
Will post an update in a few weeks
+alanpk0 Awesome! You're very welcome.
Well, here I am, one month later. And not a single unwanted beep from my PS4 since. David you´re the man.
+alanpk0 Sweet. Thanks for coming back and reporting! :)
Thank you so much probably the best video on how to fix this problem
+Alex Thank you, sir!
You sir are the absolute best. I tried every single method on the internet. Even brought it in for repair and they told me my ps4 is “unfixable”. Tried this method and all my woes are gone. Now I don’t have to purchase a new one.
Awesome! Glad I could help save you some cash. :)
