On the Forbes list for least amount of recalls GM comes in third out of 15 and ford comes in 7th, Chrysler is at 11. You get rid of all that factory shit, and it's much better than the 7.3. I've driven my stepdads 2002, with a ZF6 speed, and needless to say if it had a 601 front of it, it would really fly

This is y turbo cars have blow off valves so the air can vent out instead of making the turbo spine backwards it's not good for the turbo bearings

We had a company ford with the 7.3 i worked out of for 10 years. it reached 700k. And kept goin i quit the company. We bought a 6.0 the engine blew at 245k
Nathan Hardy Yeah I hear ya. If you stud your 6.0 and do new gaskets and the whole 9 yards they're easily 500k engines but yeah I agree 7.3 is a great engine and hands down most reliable and longest lasting from factory.
The only reason why he'd say that International is foreign is because the PowerStrokes from the 6.0L to the 6.4L were designed in Austria. However reason why the first 2 years (2003-2004) was because they have always had a lower sulfur content in diesel than we do here in the states.
