Man I’ll always be a Cummins guy (have a mega cab 6.7 right now) but ill never deny how fucking badass those v8 diesels sound. A dmax full tilt like that has to be the greatest sound in the world.
I am a Ram guy but that's impressive!! You can tell that Duramax was tuned and not stock. For you Duramax guys and gals the 2023 Duramax will be the 1st diesel to break 500 horsepower in a pickup truck. That's right 505 horsepower and 1085 foot lbs. of torque. That's 30 more than Ford and it kills me to say it but 85 more than the Ram.
It's amazing what some of these trucks can do. My dad pulled his Mack truck with a low boy trailer loaded with an excavator up a snowy hill one day during a bad blizzard with his F250 super duty, Mack was spinning and couldn't make the hill so he got out, hooked his chains up got back in and said "watch this" I had serious doubts but the crazy bastard actually succeeded. Never doubt a 4x4 diesel with a skilled driver.

I'm a dodge Guy, but fords & Chevy's are just as reliable. I have no bias towards the brands but I've finally found the opportunity to do just what this Duramax did! But mines a gas job lol
if you can afford it, most hardware stores sell RECOVERY straps for around $40. if you're really into this, then spend your birthday money on a kinetic rope. these tow straps are junk and make a simple job MUCH harder.
Yeah trucks were made to work, people think letting your truck idle forever is cool, even in a diesel. Longevity, you can gunk up your engine. Open throttle is actually good time to time. Motorcycles have to do it also, something about the oil having to burn old shix off or something, correct me if Im wrong.
Can't believe that work 😂 I do believe there was a bumper to bumper love tap... right before the video cut. That was awesome 👏 straight up good driving skills by buddy in the pick up
