Hello! It's been a while (for me) since I've seen on RUclips 😃I love Isla Mujeres
Welcome back!
We pretty much only used card while we were in Dubai. The few times we needed cash, we took it out straight from the ATM.
Wow so glad to have found this channel and this video. I’m in Cancun for the first time and plan to do this tomorrow!
That's what we like to hear! Thanks!
❤️❤️❤️🏖🏖
Thanks for watching!
HI YOU GUYS LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. I LIVED IN COZUMEL FOR TWO YEARS, VALLARTA 6, CABO SAN LUCAS 2. KEEP ON THE GOOD WORK. I LIKE HOLBOX AND BACALAR. YOU RENTED THAT FROM THE JOAQUIN'S LOL. I LIVED IN ONE OF THEIR HOUSES
Hi! So glad you like our videos! Sounds like you have lived in some amazing places! Holbox is coming soon! Thanks for watching!
Very helpful and nice to watch . I would like to ask you how to ger from Playa del Carmen to Isa mujeres? I know that i should take a bus Ado to Cancun ( Is it only one stop in Cancun that I have to get off the bus). How far and how to find in Cancun Juarez ferry dock?
Hi, I just discovered this channel. You both do such a great job in the videos. I was wondering if you both can do a video about the sargassum (sargazo)? I plan on being in the Quintana Roo, Riveria Maya, in late April into early May. I am hoping for the beaches to be clear, no seaweed . Thank you!!
So glad you enjoy our videos! In two weeks we’ll be putting out a video on Tulum where we touch on the sargasso a bit 👍 stay tuned!
Really? I’m also going to be there April 21st - May 16, I’ll be in the riveria maya for Atleast 10 days, I also speak fluent Spanish, if you need help please reach out! I’m a solo traveler from Nebraska, I own my restaurant here and I just want to enjoy my trip as well
May through September is the worst time for Sargassum unfortunately. I was just in Tulum two weeks ago when there has never been Sargassum before and the beaches in Tulum were inundated with Sargassum for 4 straight days. I was very happy our trip was focused on the jungle instead of the beaches last trip. Very unhappy campers at the beach. There is no telling when the seaweed might be bad anymore, but I would say the way things have been the last few years, I wouldn't plan a beach trip to the Riviera Maya in May through September for sure unless you like 5 foot high sulphur piles and murky water.
Saludos familia bendicones
Abrazos y gracias por el apoyo!!
Lovely video! Where did you guys actually stay? Did I miss that part?
Thank you! We stayed in Cancun itself. We provided links to the two airbnbs we stayed at in the description of our cancun video :)
Oh wow beautiful! Is it safe for the whole family to enjoy?
Totally! Tons of families and felt very safe!
I've watched lots of ISLA MUJERES videos and I liked yours the most. Very pleasant voices and fun to watch. Thank you for the information. 🩷
That's great to hear! Thank you so much!
Were there any restrictions on what you could bring on the ferry?
Nope! People brought luggage, but I don't recall it being checked by anyone.
Great videos! Thank you for sharing 😊 would you please add USD conversion beside the Mexican amounts? Thanks😊
Thanks so much! We are hesitant to do USD conversions since the rate has been changing so much lately. Since we pay in pesos, it’s much more accurate to provide y’all those prices so there’s no surprises.
The beach clubs get better the farther you go down the beach you go. They tend to get fewer day trippers.
Ooooh good tip! Thank you!
south?
My family is going in July. Would you recommend pesos vs credit card vs dollar?
Avoid using dollars. You can use your credit card for most transactions, but carry some pesos for when places don't accept card!
I enjoyed watching your video but you should also say how much something like the food costs in dls, i would like to understand how much like 7pesos is in dls just so i have an idea thxs!!!
Since the exchange rate changes so often, pesos is a more reliable cost. A tip we have for converting is to move the decimal over 1 and divide by two. So 20 pesos would be like $1, more or less.
Oh wow beautiful! Is it safe for the whole family?
Yes very safe we have been there about two time with our kids and 4 times with the wife. North part is very touristic south very calm less beach area but very nice. We will be there in June as a family.
Thank you for the lovely video! You guys have eaten lots of street food, neither of you had any stomach issues?
Thank you! And no stomach problems here! We recommend going to places where you see plenty of locals going :) That's how you know it's good!
@@TouristtoLocal thank you for the feedback! :) I also heard that policy like to stop tourist for la mordidita. Is it really the case or more like an urban legend? :)
New sub here 🎉
Welcome! We appreciate you joining the family!
I been to Isla Mujeres for3 days
Lucky you!
How much is the price for the golf cart rentals around this time of year?
It depends you can negotiate with the vender $35-80 we paid $40 for two hours that day we were there for a couple hours. If your staying in the north part pretty much everything is in walking distance.
Is that kemokazi on 3:25
Is it safe to leave your belongings at the beach to get in the water?
We always had one of us with our belongings since we were here with film equipment, so we can't say for certain. If you're traveling solo, best to at least cover your items if you go in the water, or take a dry bag with you into the water! Better safe than sorry.
This is my happy place 💀
It's a good happy place :)
They charge to use the bathroom too!
Unfortunately that's the case with lots of places in Mexico. Have those pesos handy!
bye
Thanks for stopping by!
Not going to sit through 30
