    Since I started to regrow my hair (and grew out my bangs) I always thought about the Length and the Color. Ich wanted to keep it as natural as possible to achieve long & healthy hair, so I got a blonde balayage about 8 months ago. But I realized that I was unhappy with my hair, even if it was growing fast and strong. The balayage turned out brassy without any silver shampoo and my roots were really dark. I even had some unhealthy, splissy lengths. So I needed to change something. I binge watched all your videos, refreshed my own balayage and started using toner (after chelate) on a monthly basis. Then I started to trimm my hair by my self, so I can afford it more often. Since then my hair is growing slower but way more beautiful in a shiny light blonde 😊 thank you so much sylvie for being a trustworthy hairdresser on RUclips! I really love your videos 💕

      Yea I reckon she heat styles her hair every time she washes it because it's so damaged that it cannot look nice natural. Years ago when I had severely damaged hair it only looked decent if I straightened it or something. Also the strand of hair she showed that was the "same length" as the extensions was way thicker at the roots than at the tips. She needs extensions because without it she would have severely thin hair. There's nothing wrong with having damaged hair, but I take issue when she acts like an authority on the subject by using her own hair as an example. The only way to get long hair is to stop using chemicals on it and to stop heat styling it - that's it. There is no magical product.

    I’m no one to sell a product nor do I, but Monat does work on some of us. I had blonde hair very damaged & fried a friend used the split end mender & oil and instantly my hair was better I started using & it’s the only thing that healed my hair. Yes I used other products & they worked but not like Monat. I do use their products because results were seen. So don’t be quick to down cut products ppl, it does work for some. And ppl will always have their opinion which is their choice. This is her channel & she believes in the product. Support her regardless in what she sells that’s what brought you to her channel in the first place. She’s an award winning stylist & also an educator I’m sure she wouldn’t try to sell anyone on something If she didn’t believe in it. 😊

    Enjoy the information that you share and you have a beautiful style. Am sure that there is a tremendous amount of questions and
    nonsense that is coming your way on a daily basis. My concern is what targets us as followers is the products
    that you are wearing or using are not being shown so that we have the resources to what it is such as lips, eyes or etc.
    That would be great if you are able to provide more information.
    Thank you and god bless

    Great tips! I soooo want to try Monat, but it's a little out of my budget. But, as for TIP 5, I have a NIGHT TriSilk pillowcase on my NIGHT pillow, and OMG! My hair has never looked or felt better! It also eliminates sleep creases on your face AND helps your nightly beauty products work better! Now what can be better than that!? And you don't have to buy the pillow like I did to get the pillowcase. U can just buy the pillowcase by itself, although the NIGHT pillow is the BEST pillow I've ever slept on in my life! Just a little FYI for you since you were generous enough to share these brilliant tips! Thx! xoxoJJ

    I haven't dyed my hair in 8 months. It has been over 4 months since i trimmed my hair. I am trying different products to help my hair grow. I don't use heat stylers on my hair everyday. When I do use heat styling I always apply hair oil, heat protectot, and detangling air dry spray. It takes my 3 hours to do my hair because it's extremely thick. It also takes 3 days for my hair to completely dry. Do you have any suggestions for me to grow healthier longer hair. Your videos are very informative. Thank you for making and sharing them with us 💙

    Hello Sylvia, my very first comment! The reason, the very first product that you recommended and I had to try, which was the "Glass Act" hair gloss. To my absolute dismay, it has been discontinued it seems. SO, I absolutely fell in-love with that product and would like to know what do you recommend as a substitute. I have super frizzy hair and this product just added that extra something that kept my hair smooth. Hoping you make a recommendation soon... I'm down to one more application of the "Glass Act", which is no longer sold on the Esalon website. I thank you.

    • @maggiemedina199
      @maggiemedina199 5 лет назад

      If you read the ingredients list you can find out if it has silicones. anything that ends with “-cone” is a good indicator.

    • @CindyC720
      @CindyC720 5 лет назад +1

      I would love to know this also! It has cyclomethicone which is a "lightweight" silicone that supposedly doesn't buildup on hair. But I've always been curious how the pros feel about it. I've been using it for years and love it. I feel like it does a lot for my hair personally. I used it all throughout my growth process and finally have long hair so I like to think it helped with that but who knows.

      Coconut oil, leave it on overnight (I leave it on at work because I have to put my hair in a bun) then wash your hair. It's soooo good

    How do I get your hair color??? I've got a lot of blond high lights but not like yours. Plz, advise. I live in UK and hence won't be able to visit you in your salon.
