I don’t understand why they keep dropping the price.
When you’re selling out every two seconds. You’re not supposed to lower the price. You’re supposed to raise the price.
I joked with my wife about getting it and she said I can’t have both 100” and her.
I told her I’ll miss her.
But would you really tho? Who has the time to do that when you got a 100" TV waiting for you
Living up to that Frazier roll 😂. Well done 👏.
@@jayrtck 🤣
Did she?
:))) all married man in the same boat :)))
This trend doesn't surprise me. IMO, a large, immersive image is extremely exciting and you simply cannot get that with a 65" OLED. It's exciting to see where technology is going. Great job FOMO.
Of course you can, it is called sitting closer to the screen. I have a 77" OLED in my living room and a 48" OLED in my computer room that I use as a monitor. The 48" feels way more immersive simply because I sit much closer to it.
I salute those brave tech warriors taking the gamble on the 100 inch U76N. Fingers crossed it’s a great tv
@MrFasta12..LOL. I took the gamble same day it was announced. I'll get delivery in 2 weeks from Best Buy. I made sure I took the 4 year warranty from Best Buy. I'll be happy if it lasts 4 years so I can upgrade to 120 inch in 4 years...
I doubt it's an actual gamble since Hisense makes theirs In Mexico just like Sony for the US. market
@asole2847 I hope you are right. There has to be some quality control issues. I could never afford a 100 inch Sony ...
@@thealternativefactor6694 Whatever they may be it should be less worse given the fact that they don't need to be imported via ship. It's less traveling thus less likely to be damaged whether that be externally or internally.
@@asole100 Good point...👍
seeing that price on the 100 inch just had me measure my den wall lol
Can't believe 100 to 115 inch TVS will be the future of TV buying. I just don't have the room for one. 😂😂😂
I don't believe you
If it is is just means smaller sizes will be cheapper win win

Who's planning to get the 100" Hisense U76N? 🛒howl.me/clvhGrv3Ea0
Not me that's for sure, 100" is just way too big.
My previous experience of Hisense was a bad one, they can't even be bothered to
issue updated firmware that might have cured the issues i had or communicate with customers.
Sony TV's are more expensive for a good reason, here in the UK they come with a 5 year Warranty.
and that to me says they have confidence in their products.
Hisense give you two years, i think i know why!
@@Barbarapape, also both Hisense and TCL play the 'what sounds good on paper' game. Vincent Teoh of HDTV showed that Sony's image quality is far better with far fewer dimming zones than either Hisense and TCL by a wide margin. On paper alone you'd think the Hisense or TCL TVs would be superior. Sony has the know-how for software algorithms. And if Sony can achieve that with less, just imagine what they can achieve with more.
That's not to say Hisense or TCL products are necessarily bad, but I'd rather pay the premium for a Sony, Samsung, or LG. Though of those, preferably Sony at the moment.
Mine gets delivered Saturday.. 😊
@@SagaciousFrank I can only agree with you, Having had my fingers burned with a Hisense U7K no
way would i buy another from China.
As the saying goes, buy cheap buy twice.
never!
2000 dollars for 100 inch is a crazy good deal. Too bad that USA and the rest of the world are different markets
Yep, can’t see that happening in the U.K.
100 inch tv ?? sure but only oled or qd oled
Same goes for Canada. It goes for 7 grand here 😱@HambledonRehab
prices here in Singapore as well.
@LEMON48 😂 yeah if you're trying to spend $50k!
FOMO This vid is spot on, I canceled the S89C one day before delivery from BB and picked up U76N, size does matter.
I'm a high end panel and projector buyer. Shifted away from OLED on my main display with the Sony 75" Z9D 5 years ago. Currently have the 85" QN900B as main TV Viewer. Almost positive I will grab the 110" Hisense UX this year. Would love a 100" OLED but 30K is just to much.
Most people don't care much about image quality. When I was shopping for my TV the only question my friends had was how big. I purchased the c3 83" thanks to you FOMO! And my friend was shocked at how much I paid for it and kept asking me what made it worth it compared to my friend who bought an 85" for less.
Size is impressive. Picture quality is harder to quantify. You can easily tell when a TV is bigger. It's harder to tell when a TV is better - unless you are in a shootout or a discerning type of customer.
Yep, the people with money choosing LCD over OLED just don't care about image quality and want BIG, I for a chance can't watch a movie or game on LCD now...looks awful next to OLED
At my local Best Buy most of the budget tvs are sold out or limited while all the $1200-$2500 TVs from Samsung Sony LG are in stock. 80-90 percent of ppl just want a cheap tv.
@@oilerguy5494 So true. The typical Best Buy customer doesn't give a rats ass about local dimming zone or nits. Just give me the biggest TV to replace my 6 year old TV. The newer TV will always be better than their 6 year old TV and that's all the typical consumer cares about; size. For me, I just replaced my Sony 60XBR from 2005 (bought it for $4k in 2005) with the 100 inch Hisense 4k 2024...
yeah both extremes are full of ppl who want cheap or BIG cheap@@oilerguy5494
While I don’t disagree, picture quality becomes more important the larger the TV is. With a 100” tv screen and only 230 dimming zones and 800 bits peak brightness, I’m concerned the picture quality on this will be noticeably poor and actually become a thing.
Basically something like “Wow, this TV is huge but it looks like crap”. Lol
The switch 2 is just so they can sell an OLED version later for more as they did with the original switch
Makes sense to me!
I don't mind. I'll dock it to my oled tv
yep he gave a bad example that has nothing to do with his argument lol
Mine gets installed Sunday. I am going from a 65” to a 100” 😅. Been over 7 years since I got a new tv.
Congrats!
How is it and which soundbar are you using?
I had this TV installed yesterday! I like that Hisense provides a 2 year warranty, most manufacturers only offer a 1 year warranty.
This is my first Hisense. The immersion experience is awesome! However, I’m not sure how to adjust the picture settings/ calibrate.
Mine arrives next Saturday (move into my new place Friday) Did you have it mounted? If so which one did you purchase?
@@thebionicpig yeah. I took advantage of free delivery and install/mounted. I purchased the HumanCentric full motion mount off Amazon. Rated up to 100” and 176lbs. It’s the mount that I’ve seen B The Installer use on his RUclips videos.
What tv are you coming from and how does this compare?
@@trauma50disaster1 I had a 65” TCL 65R615 which was CNETs best TV for the money in 2019. I adjusted the picture settings using the RTINGS recommendation and the TV looked fantastic. Still does! But I have moved homes since I’ve bought it and my new home has a really huge open living room so the TV seen small from the space.
Now this new beast is huge! I’m still waiting for somebody to review the TV and provide the best settings for picture. I adjusted a little bit last night and the picture seems to be pretty damn good. as my TV are both full array. So far I’m impressed with the TV specially for the price point, and it has a bunch of features that will help make the TV feature proof for a few years. I am upgrading my router this weekend to take advantage of the newer Wi-Fi faster speeds.
I tried watching some older videos of other other high sense TVs like the UH, and the UK getting calibrated but the settings on this one or a little little bit different. The Heights does have a Calman option, but I haven’t tried it. My Xbox loves the new TV and it checks every box.
Can you remove the handles from the rear of the tv? And also. How are the black levels. Mne arrives on Monday, and i am anxious to see the picture quality.
I currently have a 4k epson projector with an elite gray screen, but I wanted more pop.
❤❤i went to my friend’s Bday, He has d Crappiest Laser TV(he’s photographer) that tv was 85
-100” . As we playing video games from 14 15’ away. JUST so much more immersive. Surprisingly less eye strain cuz eyes could see more n more relaxed.
Yes we had to sit back bit more. I would go for BIG if i have the distance. 😊
I just bought this Hisense 100’ U76 coming in on Saturday. I can’t wait!!
@Emperor36..Niiiice! Please share how you like it. I ordered mine same day it was announced by Best Buy and it will get delivered in 2 weeks. I opted for the free setup and installation. I also made sure I took the 4 year warranty. I'll upgrade to 115 inch in 4 years...LOOOL

Is this a better 100” than the last year 100” U8k?? Are they both mini led ??
@@bucclao209I wouldn't say better but for 1k less it surely holds it's own. U8 is mini led, U76N is qled.
My wife bought a 50” 4K Hisense for like $300 on Black Friday nearly 10 years ago (relatively early on for 4K) and it still works fine.
Picture quality was good but never really blown away by it. In the last few years it has developed very annoying high pitched sound that you can hear when the volume is very low. Seemed to be dependent on how bright the screen is too. You wouldn’t really hear it when watching tv normally, but my wife likes to have the tv on at low volume to go to sleep and it would drive me nuts and not let me sleep. She swore she couldn’t hear it so maybe it is like the mosquito ringtone thing.
We’ve since upgraded to a 65” Sony OLED and moved this to the basement, but still works perfectly fine. I can’t say the same for a 50” Samsung 4K TV I bought a few years after for nearly 2-3x the price. That developed larger purple splotches that impacted viewing, but also still works. There currently in a guest bedroom that sees little use until we upgrade it.
😊hey good for u for getting good deal . Just FYI , since I only found out about this 3 yrs ago …. Whatever Hisense we see on RUclips from Fomo n the ones ppl r excitied about r --- their PREMIUM TVs only came to North America 4-5 yr ago , with Google TV Operating System. Not d ROKU TV .
So those r Audi A6 vs VW Jetta . Type of thing even tho same company . They had high end TVs all this time they just didn’t launch in North America till recently so there is confusion with Cheap tv then policing about their premiums . 😊 that 100 “ U76N is most likely mid rage . Their true Flagship is U8 then the UX “ 😊
So they compete with SONY Samsung Flagship yearly . Hope this works , most ppl
Have never heard about or used their Google tv , so it’s hard to image with Basie off Roku, that’s made for students n entry market .
Mine comes this Saturday. Ordered within 1 hour of BestBuy listing it, 5 days ago,, as I was watching the U8K like a hawk.
Keep us updated mate!
It's been a month, how is it, I read that the quality of the 100" TV is down from the 65 inch.
A lot of people are jumping on the XL size TVS train so they will sell out quickly. The price is irresistible for 100 inch TV. 😊
That’s why Best Buy carries more TCL and Hisense than any other brand.
My 2016 55inch 4k TCL 348.00 walmart has lasted all these years with know issues running 12 hours or longer a day for years 2024 . Still works it has recently started to suffer hdmi issues . But at the price and the years of enjoyment I'd say we'll worth it definitely buy TCL again.
S89C is only $1799.99 .... at BB ..... so tempting
The same TV is $7,000 here in Canada lmao. No thanks. I’ll wait
It's back today but sold out quick, again. Glad I checked out my BB saved items. Nice to be in the 100" club.
I was checking all day today didn't see it back in stock.
@@kimboslice1233 When I seen it was available I put it in my cart and decided what warranty to get then paid for it. Not much longer after that I checked my order and it was unavailable again. Check in often for availability.
FOMO, large TV's are the X factor. When will a 97" OLED be available as a reasonable price? That would be the panacea that we have been waiting for. technically a 110-120" OLED Display would be a HOLY GRAIL TV
generally is you have a house that can support 120 inch tv, you got 2grand.
I ended up going with a 77” C3. Couldn’t pass up on the Costco sale with the 5 year warranty. $2500 out the door. I picked it over the s90c. Looked at them side by side in the store. The s90c colors popped a little more but not that much more. The LG had way better motion and the picture just looked a lot more sharp and clear. The whites on the s90c looked dirty compared to the LG.
Plus, you don’t get the raised blacks in ANY ambiant light because the C3 has a polarizer. The S90C doesn’t and I can immediately see the raised blacks just looking at the black of the demo footage close to the TV’s bezel.
five years ago I got the c9 and then cx, but also an 86inch lcd that I actually preferred, even for movies, even with lower quality, so I realized I like big better than pq.
It actually started at $3,000 but they dropped it to $2,000 a day or so later (to match the TCL S5 I’m assuming and take that market). Don’t think these will be common prices. Maybe for Black Friday but doubt it’ll get sub-2000.
Actually seen the U76N in Tom's Guide review for $1798. at BB for a short time before it went to 2k, I missed it by one day. I would expect the same on Black Friday maby
Good video as always, but I was hoping to hear more about this TV. Did you see this at CES? Quality wise, where does this TV fall within their lineup? Is it on par with the U7? Or in between the U7 and the U8, or in between the U6 and the U7... Hince the name U76... Perhaps we'll get this information in a later video.
This post needs to be answered haha
Another great video Fomo on a tremendous GIANT TV for a price that sounds too good to be true! 😱 ...You mentioned some key words in your description of this 100" set & they were "immersive experience... unbeatable price point..& good enough for most interested folk's tastes"...I do remember just a short few years ago that 98" sets were anywhere from $8,000 to upwards of $20,000 and the visual quality wasn't nearly as good as today's technology... With that being said I truly believe that the vast majority of people would go with size & immersion vs the look of perfect blacks? & higher contrast of a much smaller OLED where-as a side by side comparison will be alot closer than people think... Can't decide on the 7 or 8 series which is $1,000 more (better processing.. color...etc) but one thing is clear for me...I 💯% want a 100" Hisence in our 🏡... Keep bringing the excellent content you continually present Fomo!
The new 100 inch high nit minileds will be impossible to beat for immersive movies and single player games. Up to 77" oled can’t be touched, Oled and self emissive technology will win in the end.
This is so true because me and my wife was going to purchase a 77 inch OLED for $2499 but ended up getting a 85 inch TCL QM8 for $1799.
Much bigger TV Much brighter TV at a cheaper price, and yes we love it.
All that brightness but no contrast makes for a wonderful HDR experience I’m sure 😅
And your knowladge about best PQ is very very weak 😜😁😢😢😢😢
@@copperypuddle3858actually, the TCL qm8 has like, a 120,000:1 native contrast ratio. That's without dynamic contrast on, too. Which that's amongst the best contrast of any and all led lcd based displays. For comparison, Samsung top of the line 4k qled of 2023 had about n 80,000:1 native contrast ratio. And the TCL is brighter. It really comes down to low resolution upscaling and color banding when you see the worser aspects of it compared to a high end LG or Samsung. And even than, it's not bad by any means, just not comparable to a TV that's significantly more expensive.
A 77" QD oled for $2k is an amazing price. id take the 77" oled over the larger size. But there is no right answer, it's whatever is right for you and your room. 77" is really a good size TV. I mainly watch movies, and about a third of the screen is lost to black bars, so larger is better for me and I got an 83" OLED C2 in the spring of 2023 so it was heavily discounted. How do you like the TCL? I know it gets very bright. I have always had Sony TV's my whole life as my Uncle works for the company and we receive a nice discount, but I wouldn't but Sony without that discount, its very expensive compared to its peers, Sony does make better TV's on a whole, but the A95L at 77" is $5k and the Samsung S95C is around $3,500 thats $1500 less, and the S90C (basically the same tv is around $2200. So the question is "Is Sony worth 30%-50% more"? I think most honest people will say NO of course it's not that much better. It's the same damn panel as the Samsung panel. I know Sony has great processing it's the best. But LG & Samsung's processing is dam good too. It's that simple Jack.
@@copperypuddle3858 Well that was uncalled for and bad form mate.
this is good for consumers since prices on oled tvs will go down
Size > picture quality
Great Stuff!!! As always for me anyway, if you can buy 2-4 of a "lower reliability" TV for the same money with arguably similar picture/experience... I will pay 2-4 times less and roll the dice on reliability. If it goes bad... I will buy another, ("America - F' Yeah!"... horrible I know) or the latest TV that strikes the right balance between feature, functionality, technology, and is the best bang for the buck with ultimately a great picture/experience. If you can buy 2-4 of the TV's for the same money, then you can arguably match the lifespan of the higher quality TV with multiple of a lesser quality TV with the potential/opportunity to save a ton of $$$, or... use a portion of the money you save to improve your audio experience. Opportunity Cost for the Win!!!
People think they're getting a super cheap 100 inch TV and buy it beccause they can't afford a higher end model. The type of people who watch a few hours total in a week should be fine. I'm concerned about the people who sit around most of the day with the television on. Admittedly, they have their own problems but they're probably going to see a pretty massive jump in their electric bills due to the increased draw from these beasts alone and also the amount of heat that is emanating from it will keep that AC going nonstop as well.
Not my problem but this may not be the cheap dream that they were envisioning. It's like buying a used Range Rover. Sure, you can afford to buy it, but can you afford to keep it?
Joey six pack wants cheap and big. Customer installation customers buy based on the shops recommendation and want a TV that looks incredible (OLED) and doesn’t dominate their space. That’s where most OLED TV’s are sold. OLED is the best PQ…for now. Hisense 100” TV will not look better than an 77” QD-OLED or a 83” OLED.
OLED is too expensive for the scren size and most are still not bright enough. QD-OLED is too limited in size only coming in 3 sizes. People in the US are buying 75" and bigger tv's these days, but the average person still cannot afford an OLED that sixe, especially flagship OLED models. I own a 2015 (yes lol) Samsung LCD that was a very early 4k smart tv, I've skipped over last 2 year's OLEDs and at this point I'm eyeing a TCL QM8 at vleast 85".
@@PaulC-xv4zr The G4 is definitely worth waiting to c0onsider, at least from the little I know so far. I'd pretty much be left with 65-77" sizing though because I'm not spending $more than $3k on a tv right now.
i was going to wait to see the differences between this and the 98UX and all the other 98 inch TCL offerings this year anyways... Glad to see it's sold out so manufactures are being told these huge tv's will sell
Same here I wanted the TCL S5 then the U8 but glad I waited and looking forward to the new lineup from both with reviews and prices . I already have a 83" C1 and OLEDS just don't interest me anymore unless they can bring the price of the 98" down 75 percent !.
❤❤ppl, just get thoes TALL self standing tv metal strands or with wheels , take the tv off the wall put it in mid , far end of room :)😊
I own 3 tcl series 5 tvs. They all needed panel repairs with the first year.Good thing they're under warranty. But this is my last tcl buy.
I've seen my friends 86" LCD TVs in the low end model and i have the 77" LG Oled yet in some ways the LCD looks good and blacks are not perfect but the imaging is not that much better i do prefer the bigger screen.
Qd oled needs to get brighter fast.. and must have an 83".. my space is limited (above fireplace) lots of homes in California don't have basements ie: Mancaves... to accommodate 100 inch screens and the family/living rooms have a fireplace on an adjacent wall.. I can fit a max 85 inch screen, which I currently have a 75"
But for the people who have the real estate for a 100 screen.. more power to you..
Going for the UX110, hope its around 15K 💪
wHAOO!!! on 2020 I bought a Sony BRAVIA 4k TV 85 inches paid 2,800 dollars with much less features than this 100 inches Hisense TV offer , we are getting in a new bright TV era
Is this a better 100” than the last year 100” U8k?? Are they both mini led ??
Have you heard of any real-world reviews on picture quality?
6 reviews so far, and 2 of the 6 say the screen stopped working. I'm expecting mine tomorrow, fingers crossed.
40% of Black Friday buyers need to buy the 2024 model, as theirs didn’t make it this far.
Just saw it in stock in South Florida (Jan 31 10PM EST)

U76n is about 7k here in canada , id rather get the lg c3 65 in for about $2400 for the quality, 100in tv would be neet to have tho, but realistically dont need tohave that bug if a tv,
I really think $2,000 for an 85-inch Sony X90L is the perfect answer for brand reliability, performance, immersion, and affordability. If size is more important than reliability and performance and your TV fails in a year or two, you better hope an extended warranty is included. I believe Costco includes extended warranties with all their TVs.
I agree, but for me I would be concerned w/ off angle viewing on the X90L.
@@jgriffin411 Another advantage of larger screens is that you're less likely to wind up so far off to the side. In this case, off-angle viewing might be less severe.
I kinda think Hisense might've made a loss leader out of the 100" U76 to create buzz around CES then won't see them in stock again until Black Friday. Hopefully other brands have to get competitive to keep up and we see big drops in OLED prices.
I have a 86 inch lg ur80 from costco. Paid 900 bucks for it. I would take my 86 inch over any 65 inch any day. Even a 75 inch doesnt look that big to me anymore. I think i would still take my 86 inch over a 77 inch oled. If i could choose between a 83 inch oled and the 100 inch hisense. I would buy the 100 inch hisense. I lrefer a larger screen its just way more emersive and more like being at the movies. Sadly my gf said i am not allowed to go bigger than my 86 inch. She thinks 100 inch tv is too big and it would hurt her eyes. We sit about 13 feet from the tv. Living room is 20x15
Honestly at 100 inch is a lot but for me I think I'll stick to my 65 inch as long as it's reliable enough at a decent price I'm happy casing point I'm going to get a 43 inch Sony X85K for my bedroom as a stop gap TV because I really dying for that newer technology from my 2009 TV if I can save enough to buy the Hisense U8K or just wait for the U8N ideally I'd rather buy the you U8K instead of waiting till Black Friday. Because I want that control when it comes to picture quality, I don't get that with my 2009 TV and then I'm going to get a 65 inch in the living room in place of that 2009 TV that's there right now.
Yeah watching 32” 2009 tv,,,straight from yr last 65” U8H. Thats torture. Lol literally torture . It’s like using iPhone 3GS as Gap phone if my iphone 14pro dies. Torture test u have gone thru so far. :)😊
@2023_Tv_buying I know it feels torturous to be not having that big screen without that colorful picture, and I really miss it.
@@Yoga_Tv_buying it's amazing to me how long we have come with TV technology the first time I turned on that U8H I was amazed by it I just could not stop drooling over it like oh my God this thing is amazing as huck the one show that i always enjoy watching on that is For All Mankind on Apple TV+
My last 2 Sony tvs lasted 5 years. Whatever I buy will have an extended warranty.
When are the higher end 100" tvs coming to australia. They're only selling the older models over here and charging way too much.
I would have bought the 100 inch but I don't know what the frig to do with my 86 inch
Maybe a local Church will come take it for a family in need ? Difficult to move these TV's without damage.
Thanks for your Content and the Question about reliabilty. My current TVs are higer model Samsung LEDs from 2010/2011. Is it okay to buy a large TV, if you know, that the Backlight will shift in Colors in less than 3-5 Years and you have to replace it? I would buy higher priced TCL or Hisense, if I can be sure to keep it at least six years. After this Video I'm thinking again about to buy a 65" Samsung OLED... BR from Germany
Good for u for getting those 2010-2011 Samsung LED. They are EDGE lit led--100% produced/designed, manufactured by ==SHARP Aquos panels.
The SAme year--GLOBALLY- 2010-2011 100% LED-including Generic LED, or Edge-Lit (high tech before the QLED) n 3D LED were produced by SHARP (generic) or SHARP Aquos(premium) TVs. Including ALL SONY Bravia.
SHARP tv almost went bankrupt, due to Big 3 drama, Hisense Bought SHARP TV in 2014 save SHARP from death. N HIsense retain a LOT of copy right to its technology. So if u LOVE your LED in 2010-2011…U will LVOE Hisense premium panels. They are VERY high quality luminescent.
Ppl talking about Qualilty issues they are talking about the -ROKU-that’s often contracted in random Mexico facilities. The GOOGLE panels are FOR Sure made in Hisense Own manufactures in Mexico or imported form China. Those are d better stuff. Since Hisense n Samsung have getting TV panel supplys from Same supplier. U will get like Samsung flagship experience with HIsense panel. Usualy much better speakers. Etc. n Google OS, not Samsung Tazen OS.
Do we know how many of these they even make? Maybe the inventory wasnt as high for the 100 inch.
As much as I would want a 100” tv, I really don’t have any place to set it up
This is funny, got lucky and I think I got the last one of these. The moment I hit purchase I checked again and it was sold out. Won’t get it in time or Super Bowl but I don’t care so 😏👍
Wow! If viewing angles get better it's going to be incredibly hard to recommend an 80+" OLED.
I just don't understand how people with a tight budget also have homes big enough to fit these things.
Samsung is struggling because of their poor software quality, not bad display tech.
My Sony from 2010 us still going strong. I'll probably replace with another Sony when it dies. In the meantime I can save my money.
Dang doesn't leave me feeling comfortable buying a 100" TV. Still hoping to have one by or around black Friday. 😁
Waiting on 98UX. If reviews are good and esp upscaling, I will make room for it. Just wish Hisense made a high end sound bar to go with it...
I have the Space for a 100" TV in my Apartment, HOWEVER, if I need to Move that TV I'd need an Army that I don't have Quick Access to... I WOULD Consider one of Hisense 3 Laser 4K Short Throw Projectors though once I figure out how to do the Screen without Holes in the Apartment Walls....
That'd be Far Easier to Move, a 100"+ LCD or OLED TV has no Plans to be Moved anytime Soon, IF Ever.... I have their 65" U8G and I love this TV, even if it is a bit Out of Date these days ..
The bad thing is I can't find it anywhere close to me! I'm ready to buy right now as soon as it comes in stock here in central Iowa!!
I hope you do, I purchased this as soon as I heard about it. Got it with a free install. Praying for you to get this as well 🙏🏻
@@Emperor36 Same here. I pulled to the side of the road and ordered it immediately when I saw it on Best Buy website as I was pricing for a TCL 98 S. I'll get it delivered/installed in 2 weeks.
Tempting.. but at that size I would much prefer 8K with upscaling because of pixel density. Esp in a living room with a much closer seating distance than my Home Theater. But at that sale price..
Got a u7k 65 inch used 1800 dollars on it
Way more expensive than us price
except apple is now moving to OLED displays
I'm late.....it's $5k now
Can you review this TV and others that come out to compete against this?
It is a deal i would jump on it but i want to know how the motion is its led as well its kind of reverse tec when mini led is better now hope its turns out good but led is fazed out my only gripe
If you don't care about about black levels and motion stutter doesn't bother you this is an awsome deal but hisense has had this issue that's why I was hesitant to jump on this hope I'm wrong tho and everyone gets the best deal when you get it
I use a lg 65 oled in my living room but I may buy a 100 plus tv for my theater room
I literally just ordered the u76 for $1999. I have experience with hisense and their TVs are amazing for the price. u76 will be replacing a Sony 85" x91j
How is it?
@@RawWrath love it! 3 months and I've had nothing but an amazing experience with the u76
I've had a TCL R625 since 2019 use it almost every day for hours as i use it as a computer monitor, the only problem I've had with it is the Roku software occasionally will crash and it will hard reset.
My TCL R635 's mini leds on the bottom section of the screen have been burning out more and more over time so in the sections where they are burnt out you'll notice colors are washed out. Im still using it as we speak but if I play a game and its a dark setting it can get annoying to view. I used to get crashes in my early time with the tv but now it barely happens.
I bought mine the day it came out! Took the chance seeing as it didn’t have reviews. I was going to go with tcl 98 s5 but Hisense has better specs. I have it setup on the wall free delivery and free mounting by bestbuy. Got a $$45 from Amazon which worked just fine. Coming from a 82inch Samsung it still looks huge. Picture is better than my older Samsung it was 4 yrs old. Viewing angle is not good at all and some apps take a bit to load. Other than that I love it.
Great review thanks for the input! As long as it’s better than your 4 year old Samsung you win!
I have had the TV 1 week and it sucks.. OS sucks.. app take forever to load up.. while watching content and trying to open the settings it's worse... I wanted to love this TV for the price and specs.. just to much flicking and delays are really bad from the panel.. and I don't think I got a bad tv.. hisense just makes cheap stuff.. you get what you pay for
i'm looking for a new tv now and I definitiely want the largest screen I can afford over picture quality
Those statements FOMO your attributing to Mfg, Analysts, etc. never imagined that a Premium Tv in Extra Large size at a decent price would never have expected this response? You obviously can't make this S*** up. What Gamer or Football Fanatics WOULDN'T want a huge TV as far back as the 80's as a semi retired armature gamer THAT WAS THE DREAM...And Burn In has always kept me from an OLED which I always thought gorgeous picture etc. they were always at or just above my budget... but I could have bitten the bullet, but the LCD I had was at launch a Top Tier Samsung with great Picture specs and reviews it just suffered from Tizen and an insanely idiotic Remote with weird Light Wand Controls that I avoided like the plague. How or Why they thought consumers wanted a small non standard remote and it would be a selling feature was not just beyond me. And not to put too fine a point on it the remote buttons were obviously made for small fingers. So one needed to be finger specific. Reviewer and the public hated so much lol Samsung was forced to drastically lower the price.
I'm still on the fence between a smaller OLED and a larger mini LED for my next TV purchase this year. This video does not surprise me.
how old/bad is your current TV? If it's an OLED you'll notice the drop in image quality but an older LCD TV means you get both size and image quality improvement with the larger mini LED TV. But if you're a gamer, I'd stick with OLED in 2024
Hey FOMO, do you think the 98UX or the 98 QM85 will be the better tv in 2024? And do you think they will be similarly priced? Thanks and huge fan!
I wouldn't take Nintendo going to LCD as much. As an adult, it's easy to forget that Nintendo likes to sell to kids and adults, so I expect an OLED model down the road.
This is wild! Hisense is going to kill Samsung and LG with large screens!
No they won't lol they will make them more competitive
No, Hisense will kill Samsung and LG with government-subsidised dumping prices on the US and Euro markets. Then watch quality really plummet.
Bahahaha LG Samsung and Sony aren't worried about TCL and Hisense crushing them in anything.
I bought a Hisense 55" a couple years ago... it looks pretty good, but I REALLY REALLY REALLY hate that TV...The Android OS is terrible.. I hooked my Nvidia Shield to it to try to circumvent, but have to go through buggy menus every time I use it just to get to the Shield... Buyer beware ... did I mention how much I HATE that TV?
I am considering TCL, Hisense for the first time (only their TVs 100-115").
This is more of a immersive experience and I completely expect it to be poop quaity-realiability.
I have Sony OLEDs in our rooms and Mini LED in the living space.
This is a NFL man cave TV for big crowds. Confident it will be crap for anything else aside sports.
Expected life less than 4yrs. A bargain for sub 3k 100” panel. I’d pick it up 4 that reason. In a heart beat
Why don't you consider the Hisense 100" U8K? If you say you have mini LEDs in the living room, I can tell you from experience the U8K is a noticeable step up from my Samsung QN90B mini led. So unless you think Samsung upper tier is poop, you'll be surprised.
I think you'd be pleasantly surprised at the PQ that will come with these new mini LED TV's from both brands this year.
@@TIMMAYY7 Have X95L. Nothing compares. 👆btw... I did say I'd pick up a 100-115" from these brands for that cheap price. Put that in the backyard, garage, mancave.
@@dyauswinters its only use will be for Football, Futbol Premier league + CL, Sports in general. I have my Bravia OLED & Mini LED for movies/shows. Waiting for the 115" so the outcome is TBD.
im from mexico and love your show im saving to buy a big one for my new home i was thinking on the 100 inch u8 but i have a lot a time to see what is best if a 98 sony or tcl qm8 lets see the testing this year the only thing i dont know how much i will have left for a sound maybe 1k left and may get a nakamishi or samsung q990c
8k Qn800b 85” OR 4K QN90C?
QN90C being 4k makes this sound like a no brainer to go with the 8k (clearance) but I need some quick opinions!
QN90C is still better seriously
Europe is so expensive.. no such deals here.. price for LG G3 77" is over 4.000 €..price in US? tv's 100" foe 1.900 € ..not a chance
Crazy crazy
I have both oled and have the 100 hisense on the way. Just returned the tcl 98. The Samsung 77 qd oled blows the picture quality away. 100 inches is just different though.
Share your thoughts once you get it!
Why did you return the Tcl 98. And how does it compare to the other TVs. I'm on the fence about getting the TCL.
I wouldn't pay too much attention to Nintendo using LCD, they're pretty weird always when it comes to announcements and decisions and most likely will do an OLED model later on. Sony had OLED on the Vita and later changed to LCD, it's always about profit. And the majority of consumers just want to watch sports and stream movies so LCDs will be selling for a long time for now.
What’s the HiSense lineup from top tier to bottom? I’m only aware of the UX I don’t know about the rest of the TVs, so idk where the U76 sits in the hierarchy.
They have the UX…..it’s like the Maserati level.
Then the U8 U7 U6 series. --they are Mini LED--They are like the BMW X6 X4 X3 type .
Thoes are Google -OS panels.
Then they have the Roku -Qled-Panels.
Then the ROKU generic UHD panels.
Those 2 are like Hyndai Tuscan
Hyundai Elantra
Ever tier they are well priced, n very well high performance for-THAT tier-technology/price tag.
Usually the U8 series : U8H U8K, now 2024 U8N will directly Compete with SONY , LG, Samsung Flagship TVs. Because OLED so dim n burn in. Then OLED with MLA is bright but LOW in color volume(for the price tag). Since Hisense U8, n TCL Qm8 series both Have Black level incky black , but their image crisp bright vibrant. So a LOT of ppl are buying it.
Because ppl buy 100” TVs they have HUGE house , kids, married….needs lights on at night ….there is no 22 yr old single guy living alone in 1bdr apartment buys 100” TVs. The OLED in 65 or even 77” dim is redundant.
U76 is prob the U7 Line-of early bird 2024. The U7 is like Super good value. Usually, 144hz, VA premium panel, google OS, Subwofer in the tv. Wifi 6? Something something something. N like last year U7K 65” mini LED has 500 Local Dimming zone. SONY X90L has 80(NOT even a mini LED, n blooming). So that U76n this year with better Chip processing prob easily do 120hz or 144Hz 4k. They should be insane playing video games on it .
Hisense U7 is around the Samsung Q90 level . The U8 is Samsung QN95 level. Last 2 yrs Hisense U8 has beaten up Samsung QN95 Flagship n Sony X95J, X95K flagship. The 2023 Sony got SO Spooked they did NOT show up at CES TV booth(vacant). N later end of 2023 in Nov…came out. “Here we launching 2024 tv in 2023 LOL” sonyX95L. Something like that.
Yeah so those Hisense U7 U8 TVs are Spooky good stuff. : )
