@@eazye1083dude those Hisense U8 that 65” sells out in hours in Nov. some ppl gets bad luck like 😅evey brand , has crack or faulty /Damage upon delivery n stuck for 2 months to exchange . Lol get it soon back to school deal . 😊
I wanna know which tv allows for more picture customizing to change brightness and backlight in VRR and HDR mode. Is it true that the TLC QM8 has limited options, if so how limited is it?
I got it delivered yesterday and I have to say I have no regret on my purchase. Picture looks fantastic out of the box (after the lastest update). Now im looking for the best setting to make it look more beautiful.

I'm blown away with brightness and how crisp it looks in SDR/HDR. Sports look freaking amazing on it which is what I wanted for my living room set. I own a LG C9 and C1 also. DV looks better on OLED, my personal opinion. I got a 55 inch for 750 also, 500 off from Best Buy. I'm really happy with this tv.
No issues with motion/stuttering or anything like that??
Same i bought it for 750$ from Best Buy as well yesterday. Definitely better than my TCL R635 . Hopefully this TVs longevity is good 👍
Going to get one in 85 inch , i am stuck between this & TCL MQ8 both GREAT TVS.... But i have the time till BLK Friday to purchase one between these 2 & i bet getting either one in 85 inch under $2 Grand by blk Friday/Cyber Monday deals & thats a f*n steal 👍

A couple questions:
1- How’s the gray uniformity? Have you noticed a lot of dirty screen effect with this tv?
2- I heard this tv drops the connection with HDMI devices, especially if you use an HDMI splitter (which I use to hook up multiple game consoles). Have you come across this problem?
I use jolsterG4K setting with intelligent scene off so it will let me adjust sharpness to 40 . Awesome for gaming and movies.. e-arch wont work unless hdmi is on any setting besides high..

It does have more brightness and picture quality is a tad bit better with a bit better sound as well. Either way, you can't go wrong with either of them
Can you get 4K/144 Hz gaming using the eARC HDMI port if it's connected to an AVR like the Denon X3800H?
What level do you suggest for Subwoofer?
I'm thinking about this model as a PC gaming screen.

I had the U8H, picture quality was stunning, audio was great but the posterization, banding issues made me return it, does this updated version still have those issues?

You can actually get up to 240htz with a PC, but at 1080p and VRR turned off
Hi All, Can anyone help me in understanding how to turn on Dynamic Tone Mapping and Dynamic HDMI Range?
I got the u7k and notice led bleeding when local dimming is set to off. How’s this look to you on the u8k? Notice it when changing inputs or turning tv on on the hisense logo
Why are u buying ULED/mini led (QLED) tv for -turning LOCAL dimming off? 😮😮😮 ppl buy it so they can have that feature. U better off getting UHD generic 1 panel 4k cheap ass Roku tv-basic 1 trick pony . Than buying a premium MINI LED , n turns that most critical function off. Yeah…Duah.😊

Both the same just that TCL is abit Brighter, BUT TCL crushes in some blks in scenes & fade colors in some scenes, because is to bright ... I think U8K is better Choice for movies' & dark scenes

@Josh_Quinonez Was just wondering. Have last year's U8H TV and the screen size doesn't work for me and was wondering if this year's was the same. Also noticed that the U8K doesn't have Dolby Vision Game.
How good is this compared ro QM8 gaming wise?
Pretty much on Par console wise. But when it comes to PC gaming, the QM8 takes it. I'd say overall I enjoy gaming on the QM8 just a bit more. But honestly you can't really go wrong with either👍

It’s similar to iPhone , if u dont upgrade, u dont see any NEED, once u use d higher grade, u cant go back. Same with cars also.
So like for example iPhone 11pro-12pro. Both around 1200nits. iPhone 14PRO- 2000nits.
U dont notice much difference, but any time indoor , some sort of room light on, sunshine, or anything u notice u see the iPhone 14PRO screen u can see MUCH easier cuz its just brighter without losing color. Yes u7 will be great. But U8 will have d POP (not annoying, but comfortable elegant pop ,,,with Vibrancy, no flating out color or blooming) just remarkable 🎉
My U8K has a really fuzzy image when gaming. Its a 4k 60fps signal but it looks like 1080p... anybody have any ideas?

The TCL QM8 is much brighter
Only on the spec sheet - the U8K has been tested by many at up to 2200 peak at 10% window and the QM8 at 2005. Anyone can read a spec sheet Josh. Put them side by side calibrated (but you don't know how to do that do you). That's probably also why you watch in "vivid" - no one does that either - geesh!@@Josh_Quinonez

Earch works as long as you set hdmi to medium not high.
