THE BEST - bought the 55" one two weeks ago on AMAZON to use it as a PC Monitor WOOOOWW kick the ass of LG, SAMSUNG and SONY for Price/Performance and Quality. RECOMMENDED - On OLED TV's you get 100% BLACKS and on U7K you get 99% BLACKS without stressing about GHOSTING or BURN IN after a few months of usage.
Yeah u did good. the 100% black is useless. Majority of colors that we perceive as (black) is actually grey. For example the TV remote. The peak highlight / rich color ,,,creature texture n transion . Which brains translates the 98-99% grey as Black against the peak highlight n transition with rich color. They teach that in science school. There is NEVER really PITCH black anything in human real life. Everything is perceived --as Black. Jus like black suits are usually black grey. A black suit beside a black velvet suit it’s suddenly NOT very black. OLED technology is inferior but -brain wash/marketed as “better” to Falsely charge ppl 2X price. 😮 in the sun , black jeans all grey. But we see them as black. In bright day time, any U7K will look more 3D. 😊
@@fvallo dude u r Welcome turn on the TV right now i n mid day lunch. Watch some --Iceland 4k videos those black CRUSHINGing will be very sever for OLED. Unlesss u get S90C at least 1000nits. It’s somewhat okay. The thing is ppl have those OLEDs when they see those 4k videos those things the black mountains just looks like black blob. So they think the bright area so clean n bright. They have no idea the black crushing of image exist.
Zero Blooming and at 144Hz superfast.....I switched to this from a SAMSUNG G9 GAMING Monitor and gaming is better on the TV also the HDR displays properly on this while on G9 was fucked up too misty no matter how you calibrate it...everyone says its broken because of Windows 10/11 but after plugging on the TV with the same calibration BAAAMMM stellar HDR out of the BOX. And Games NO COMMENT 10/10 take this one and dont need to waste your money on expensive BRANDS. HISENSE and TCL is the way to go, they deliver more for less.ruclips.net/video/0PvuwLda_ac/видео.html
The content Josh was showing wasn't true HDR. When he showed the TV settings it would have said HDR Vived for example. The U.S. models come with the Google operating system. Not sure about the Canadian models but everywhere else in the world has the VIVAA operating system. And NO there's no way to change it.
If you can figure out how to change Samsung's or LGs operating system over to a Google operating system then the answer is hell yeah. But in reality the answer is a hard NO.
I am having issues with this TV where color temp is changing on its own constantly while gaming and watching videos. Does anyone know of this issue or how to fix it?
Film Maker Mode is the best as it drops it too 600+ Nits and stops all blooming that happens on this TV

U8k is 99,99% oled like, but unfortunately it had horrible dse and banding, so i went with oled, such a shame they use shitty panels

What’s the depth on the feet/stand? The image on Amazon is different that the listed specs.

The TV in India is very different, no Google TV and the US version seems to be 144hz whereas Indian one they advertise 240hz.
