The Bregman pop-up is crazy and then you see the Bregman dribbler and that might just be one of the craziest plays I've ever seen. It looks like he even gets tagged but the catcher drops it when tagging and so ump calls safe. Crazy. Nothing will top Luis Castillo for level of heartbreak.
I don’t think he was expecting the throw to be cut off. If the cutoff man had let the ball go through, it probably would’ve gone about where he was standing
0:58 That’s got to be scored as a base hit since nobody touched it so there’s nobody to charge an error to. Still worthy of being on this video though.
1:08 wasn't that one of those in field pop ups where the batter is automatically out? I only recently learned about that and I still don't quite get it.
That rule doesn't apply with 2 outs. The purpose of the infield fly rule is to prevent fielders from being able to drop the ball on purpose to get an easy double play (since the runners stay at the bag for tagging up) but if there are 2 outs, then there can't be a double play.
I think it’s just because turning and throwing normally from flat ground is so different from throwing a pitch, still wild though. Was it Jon Lester or someone that was so bad at it he always threw it underhand to first so he wouldn’t botch it?
He wasn’t closer to it than the runner, who was, you know, running, for one lol. Also it was a fairly routine play, I think you take that over a footrace to the 3rd base bag
@@spinlok3943 lol the ol 11 rings brag, I love when fans don’t think. y’all been around longer then most of the teams. The Yankees got 27 and that can’t even really be a brag, cause there were like 12 teams, they were the first ones really showing initiative to get good ball players and scouting, it was like the best little league team playing everybody else and just rollin em. Then they had Ruth who only had to face white blokes his entire career. What were the cardinals doin? Therefore honestly, it’s pathetic that the cardinals don’t at least have 15-20 trophies. Granted they still have been successful, more often then not. So they are certainly to be respected, but no where near the top for the greatest organization. Top 10 maybe.
3:26 most bizarre play I’ve ever seen

The thrill of victory and the oops of defeat.
7:45 that was a tough play man. Hard to call that an error.
It was first man’s error , if you are on MLB level you can’t drop that
Baseball truth #1 - pitchers pitch; don't let them do anything else.
And then there is Ohtani
@6:11 - If they had instant replay/challenge then the runner would have been called out at first.
5:22 - great to hear the voice of Greg Shulte. Man, I miss that guy. His replacement is lame in every conceivable way.
2:37 That’s why you call the ball. Even if one person did the outfielder should’ve let the infielder catch it
Little League play in the MLB.
4:30 - The throw is wide! It was almost over the plate, what was the catcher doing running away from home like that?
I don’t think he was expecting the throw to be cut off. If the cutoff man had let the ball go through, it probably would’ve gone about where he was standing
Can't believe you didn't use Buckner's error.
Buckner’s error wasn’t a walk off

Not quite an error, but the first ever walk-off at Target Field (Twins) was on a wild pitch
That Bregman one that was hit 5 feet is still crazy to me
I’ve seen like 5 where the Red Sox have thrown the game
great clips!

The Cardinals botching a playoff game... that one's really gonna hurt.
I thought this was going to be all about the Colorado Rockies.
10 minutes of blown games and the only one that included the Cubs was a win? Something is rotten in Denmark.
pitchers get paid to chuck the ball 90 feet at high speed, and somehow can't manage a medium strength throw of 45-60 feet, lol. #refundThatSalary
1:08 wasn't that one of those in field pop ups where the batter is automatically out? I only recently learned about that and I still don't quite get it.
Infield fly rule is confusing but this isn’t one, there have to be runners on both 1st and 2nd

There weren’t runners on 1st and 2nd and there were two outs. Infield fly doesn’t apply there, confusing rule but yea
5:12 editing error: the play was a MIAvsBOS game, but the clip ended with a KCvsTB replay.
Why do I never see lowlights of the Blue Jays lol
It’s crazy to me that pitchers can’t throw a ball to first base. I wonder what the deal is because, it’s multiple pitchers.
I think it’s just because turning and throwing normally from flat ground is so different from throwing a pitch, still wild though. Was it Jon Lester or someone that was so bad at it he always threw it underhand to first so he wouldn’t botch it?
So many bush league plays. So many of the players were just not giving a shit.
0:26 MLB the Show gamers like me should be glad that this isn't in the game.
yall got gifted a WS off an error it's only right
6:15 That wasn't even close to safe.
The closeup they show is a bad angle. The pitcher never touched the bag. Ump was right on top of it.
first base fielder fucked up, didn't touch the base. runner was safe.
