SlaveTrader hey- it was 2 sober friends. 3 on dead including JoFer. And he wouldn't have been caught if he didn't crash. Who knows who was driving and who knows if JoFer was drugged or did do the coke(like his stupid lawyer claims). But ya know what- he was gunna win Cy Youngs, he didn't play a season Opening Day to the Last Game of the season(correct me if I'm wrong) he was an amazing guy- the face of sports personalities. He was also drunk- don't forget that. But think- what if you favorite player in sports died and it turned out he was drunk/high even if it wasn't him that took the drink/drugs. He's not my favorite but hey- he's one of them

As a person that lived in the Dominican Republic (not where Jose is from) I feel like it gets ignored that a lot of these players come from countries where coke/impaired driving isn't frowned upon. There was a dead mango tree infront of my house that died when Oscar Taveras drove into it drunk. Its a real epidemic down there but when there are so many troubles/ways to die its hard to take it as seriously as we do in first world countries.
