Hey Stan, Please consider reacting to Chicago's song titled: "CALL ON ME" because it is another "Vibe" and a "BANGER!!!"

Their 1969 self-titled debut album was when they were known as The Chicago Transit Authority and it was a DOUBLE LP. In fact, their first three releases were all double LP before their fourth release, a four-LP box set recorded live at Carnegie Hall. Go to their debut album and play "POEM 58". Nine minutes of PURE FUNK led by Terry Kath on guitar. Hendrix was so impressed by the band when he saw them at the Whiskey a Go Go in LA that he told Chicago "your guitar player is better than me!"

Chicago has a great sound . If you want to listen to another band with a great horn section then you should check out Blood, Sweet & Tears. Their song “Go Down Gamblin” has some of the best horns ever recorded.

Cetera is such a funky songwriter. You have songs like this, and it’s so upbeat and powerful, and it’s a song about a breakup. Then he writes stuff like “Wishing You Were Here” and you think, “oh, it’s a love ballad.” Nope. Cetera throws you curve balls. He’s very complex… even when Kath sings those songs.

OMG there are so many songs to choose from that are so diverse all from this one band. Where to begin, let's start with a jazzy love song with beautiful horns called "Just You 'n Me". Then if you want an uptempo song with wonderful transitions, and plenty of horns, I would suggest "Now That You've Gone". This particular song incompasses all the elements of Chicago's uniqueness in one tune. There is so much more, but I'll stop for now as to not overwhelm you.

Great band from the 70's-80's. They were a rock & roll band with horns & blended elements of classical music, jazz, R&B, & pop music. They had a lot of great songs such as "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?", "Beginnings", "Questions 67 & 68", "I'm A Man", "Where Do We Go From Here?", "Free", "Lowdown", "Saturday In The Park", "Colour My World", "You're The Inspiration", "Will You Still Love Me?", "Look Away", "Old Days" etc.
