    I really appreciate how you show us that its ok to ask for what you want. I'm not the type of person to do that but you've inspired me to do that on my cruise. -Bridget

      Disney is so good at making accommodations for both allergies AND preferences! It’s one of the reasons we love sailing Disney.

      If I may ask another question are you a fan of their merchandise? As in how crazy is purchasing night one? As in should I get in line and wait? Just gotta get the basics you know Minnie ears, shirt etc 🙃

    • @midlightlabs
      @midlightlabs  8 месяцев назад

      @DJ_afroASH I sometimes get merchandise (I often will go and peruse), but it is quite pricey. With that in mind, the craze has definitely died down a bit for her US itineraries. Most of the merchandise isn’t cruise specific for the seasons the Wonder is in San Diego, but when she’s in Alaska, there’s definitely a queue on opening night. If you’re looking for cruise specific merchandise, I’d plan to be there to queue up. But much of the rest is usually pretty well stocked. The only limitation to that being Spirit Jerseys. Those sell out in certain sizes night one. Also, there’s no AP or Magic Key discount for DCL. Being a Disney Visa cardholder will get you a discount onboard though (but you’ll need to swing by Guest Services to have them note it on your room key!)

    You are so good at describing food! I am also not the biggest fan of Italian food either, but going to Palo has been in my bucket list for awhile now. I shouldn’t have watched this while I’m hungry haha. Thank you for the video

      We were so lucky to be able to do both a Palo dinner AND a Palo brunch on this trip! Next week will cover what we got for brunch, so be prepared to get hungry again! :)

    Thanks for checking in about the dairy free option. We have a few allergies to deal with when we go and it is cool to know you can just ask!!!

      Disney is EXCELLENT with allergies! It's one of the reasons I feel comfortable bringing family who have stronger reactions than I do on!

    You should add a tag on your duck.

    • @midlightlabs
      @midlightlabs  11 месяцев назад

      We usually add tags on the ducks we bring (unless they’re extremely small) but this was one we found and re-hid! We don’t want to re-tag ducks as it’s fun for the original hiders to find where they’ve gone!

      @@midlightlabs you don’t take the old tag off you add a tag so others can see it’s journey

      @paceyfilmer7427 that’s a great idea! We’ll have to bring some spare tags on our next cruise! Thank you for suggesting it!

    Strange question - but at Palo dinner your Mum (I suppose Mom 😂) has a fabulous top on! Would you know where it is from?

    • @midlightlabs
      @midlightlabs  Год назад +1

      The sparkly one? It’s from Amazon! I believe it was a sheer or mesh long sleeved blouse.

    Do the lunch and breakfast menus change daily?

    • @midlightlabs
      @midlightlabs  Год назад

      Lunch changes daily but breakfast is the same. I refer to DCL Blog to remember all the details we had for each day!

    Was the breakfast and lunch at Triton's included in the price of a cruise? I have a younger teen who is more introverted, and might feel a little overstimulated at Cabanas.

    • @midlightlabs
      @midlightlabs  Год назад +1

      Yes! Breakfast and lunch at Tritons (or whichever Main Dining Room (MDR) is open on the ship you’re on) is included! It’s so much calmer and laid back than Cabanas and we almost NEVER do the buffet. The sit down meals fit my family better. We highly recommend giving the MDRs a shot and seeing which works best for you.

    how much were the drinks at the bar?

    • @midlightlabs
      @midlightlabs  Год назад

      That really depends on the drink! If I’m remembering correctly, martinis range from $12-$14, drinks of the day are now closer to $7.50. Prices are all in USD, and they do change occasionally.
