*Please note: I accidentally swapped the first and last stops. The stops in order were Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan. The footage is in order but names are swapped. My apologies.
I come from a big cruise family. My dad is actually an independent cruise agent and I've gone on cruises since 9 years old! I went on one to Alaska as well but never Disney.
You’re going to have a blast!!! I got them at Disneyland, the brand is Baublebar. You can find the brand at TJ Maxx sometimes but I haven’t seen that specific style since I bought them. They have a website as well, and they’re always getting cute designs. Thank you ☺️
I’m glad you enjoyed it, have the BEST time!!! I’d love to go back again, I’m sure you’ll have a blast. I’m doing Aulani this summer, and will be sure to create content 🥳. Appreciate the watch 🙏🏻.
8:00. I did the Ocean club with my cousin because we were too young for the night clubs at the time when I went on the cruise in September 2005. In fact my Cousin was barley old enough to the ocean club herself. Also back in the day the club was much smaller mainly because of the decorations and was pirate themed when I went before the club was remodeled. Where you went to Andys room The slide used to be a barrel slide and the platform was like a pirate ship and there was a net bridge kids would walk on. However I did not do this because I was afraid so I did a mini slide instead of the big slide. Then below the slide there was a small Captain Closet room where I played on the computers. I would play on the computer one night on the I told my parents don't interrupt my fun. I also did dress up in this room too.I also asked a boy to take a toy down the slide with him. I also had good talk with a girl in the club one time while I was on the cruise. There was also a small stage back then for kids to sing songs in the club. Also the bathrooms in the club were smaller and the lights were dimmer especially at night and they had life saver floats as a decoration back than they are now on the cruise after the remodel happened. I also went to Castway Cay too. Me and my cousins were next door to each other on the cruise. I went to the Ocean Lab once one the cruise. one time my cousin accidentally went to the boys room but lucky for me I found the girls one. One time I freaked out when a girl brought her brother into the bathroom and when my cousin when into the boys bathroom because Back then when I was younger I did not really understand that you do not have to be a certain gender to like certain things. Also the Lab was space theme when I went. The boys room in lab back in the day has blue and green for its wall color and the girls room was pink in color i do not remember too much about the ocean lab. 15:38 I also went to Animators Pallet. Animator Pallet for dinner on the cruise and there i used to get ice cream dessert from the kids menu back in the day. I would eat dinner there with my parents since I could not eat Gluten at the time. One time I got a brownie and vanilla ice cream to share with my parents one night on the cruise.
Greetings from New Zealand! Disney Cruises have just come to Australia and NZ for the very first time back a couple of months ago and my mum and I are going on the Disney Wonder sailing from Auckland on Dec 8th this year I wanted to ask you something since the Disney Cruise is still new to us over here, can you place an order for merch through the app before the cruise ship even arrives or do you have be part of a special club that costs extra to pre order merch?
Hello! Yes you can, but I believe you have a timeframe allowed to do it, I would check 90 days and then 60 days prior on the Disney Cruise Line app. That app is a lifesaver! I ordered a few items prior to traveling and they were in my room when I boarded.
You cannot order regular store merch in advance though, the app only has a few special selections. The store is open frequently and gets restocked so I had no issues getting what I wanted.
Onboard and indoors it is very comfortable but it will be cold outside since it’s early summer. Pools/jacuzzis are heated. I would also bring an umbrella and pack clothing for rain. We were lucky to not have much rain but I’ve heard it can be very rainy. I was ok with a winter coat and long sleeve sweater but you may want to layer up.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I hope you have a wonderful trip! I’m hoping to do a long Disney Caribbean cruise in 2025 and I’m going to Disneyland Paris in 10 days! You’re welcome to dm me on IG or X if you have any other questions ☺️
Thank you! I ordered the blanket directly from the cruise line app around 30 days prior to departure. There were other items available to order sooner but this one was closer to departure date. When we boarded the ship it was waiting for us in our room.
Hi, We are doing a B2B sailing in the same stateroom on the wonder this year and we are wondering if our dining staff (Waiters) will be the same for both sailings. I haven’t found anything telling me if they will be or not and given DCL likes to keep servers the same from restaurant to restaurant on the voyages so you get to know the servers, I don’t see why they wouldn’t let us keep the same servers we have in the first leg to the second leg. Just wondering if you would know, also amazing video!
Thanks for watching! I would venture to say yes but don’t know for certain. They work under contracts for a length of time and it’s highly likely they’ll still be there. Would make sense for them to keep them in the same work areas since they are familiar. Hope you have a blast!!
They are extremely accommodating to kids’ diets. There was a night where one of the children with us didn’t like any of the options on the menu so they brought pizza from the upper deck in for her. In general the kids’ selections are stereotypical unless they want to order adult items. Every night there was a pasta, nuggets, and/or pizza option.
I got back July 3rd. I packed one heavy coat with pants and spirit jerseys and a beanie, was never really too cold. The coldest day was glacier day onboard, mainly because it was rainy, and one port day I was chilly but was comfortable otherwise, weather was high 50s-low 60s for the majority. Took bathing suit for the hot tub, pools are heated as well. Inside the ship temperature was very comfortable. Vancouver was beautiful and warm while we were there which surprised us.
They have verandahs but they sold out really quickly. I wish I had the option, this cruise would’ve been perfect for a verandah with the constant magnificent views.
I really enjoyed your video! My family and I are heading to Alaska in May 2024. Your video is one of the best I've watched about the ship and the stops. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for the kind review, that means a lot!! I hope you and your family have an excellent vacation! I’m making a new video about Disneyland Paris in the next few days 💖.

Oh that’s neat! I bet those are wonderful memories. You’ve gotta try Disney one day! Alaska was soooo beautiful.
Amazing video! Can’t wait for my cruise in November 😊 Can I ask where you got the Mickey earrings at the beginning of the video? They look lovely!!

Hello VeveMagic, do you have any updates about the health of Silicon?
Thank you for asking. He is home right now but could use a lot of thoughts and prayers.
So it's cartoons and booze but no weed ? Ahhh
We're going on the Wonder Alaska cruise in late August. We're so stoked. Thanks for the video. Very informative.

Where was the gold panning excursion? Ketchikan?
The location was called Liarsville in Skagway.
I just realized I mixed up the location names, the first stop was Skagway, last was Ketchikan.

trip looks awesome, i want to plan one for 2025
Thank you! Do you find the food too fancy for kids 6-8 years old? My kids are stereotypical mac n cheese or cheese pizza.
Like the tips - especially the pre order to the stateroom and signing up for Princess character meet and greet. Good to know!
Thank you 🙏🏻
How was the weather and how did you pack? We are going over 4th of July week next year

Are does Disney not have balcony’s available for their rooms?
They have verandahs but they sold out really quickly. I wish I had the option, this cruise would’ve been perfect for a verandah with the constant magnificent views.
