@reemie786 There used to be a half marathon at Disneyland Paris that was the reason we started coming in the first place! We met so many friends through the races. They’ve been cancelled since COVID hit, but we haven’t given up hope that they’ll come back!

You hit the nail on the head on all of this. Smoking is so uncommon in the States that we assume it’s world wide. And when it comes to dining, so many Americans are used to speedy service and fast meals, and immediately getting back to rides and the park. In Europe, dining itself is an activity and is more of a time investment than folks expect!

We loved the tea at M&S! It's such a great deal, and definitely take advantage of it for a quick and inexpensive Cream Tea! Thank you for watching, and I hope you have the most AMAZING time on your Northern Europe cruise!!!

I realized that once we stepped off the ship! Our cruise director had been pronouncing it Grenock and I had mistakenly assumed he was correct!

We’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of time in Ireland through other travels over the years. Long term plan is to spend a week or so in Southern Ireland, as it’s the only corner of the country we haven’t explored well! But we knew one day wouldn’t be enough, and we knew we needed to do laundry at some point. But I highly recommend seeing every port you can!

This excursion was not through DCL. We booked direct with Discover Scotland tours.

I LOVED the pandan flavour, and have been trying to find other pandan goodies! May have to go check Seafood City (I’ve been wanting some chicken tocino as well). MTSLYW!!

I wish afternoon tea was more common in the States! I'm a scone or tea cakes person when it comes to the teas, but it's surprisingly filling! They did an exceptional job on the Titanic Museum in Belfast. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants more info on the construction and discovery of the Titanic, more than just the sinking.

If I may ask another question are you a fan of their merchandise? As in how crazy is purchasing night one? As in should I get in line and wait? Just gotta get the basics you know Minnie ears, shirt etc 🙃

@DJ_afroASH I sometimes get merchandise (I often will go and peruse), but it is quite pricey. With that in mind, the craze has definitely died down a bit for her US itineraries. Most of the merchandise isn’t cruise specific for the seasons the Wonder is in San Diego, but when she’s in Alaska, there’s definitely a queue on opening night. If you’re looking for cruise specific merchandise, I’d plan to be there to queue up. But much of the rest is usually pretty well stocked. The only limitation to that being Spirit Jerseys. Those sell out in certain sizes night one. Also, there’s no AP or Magic Key discount for DCL. Being a Disney Visa cardholder will get you a discount onboard though (but you’ll need to swing by Guest Services to have them note it on your room key!)

The cruise videos from last September are finally being posted!

It’s forward on the walking track that goes around Deck 4! I don’t know if there’s an official name for that space, but it’s pretty close to the bow of the ship (the front). If you walk the deck 4 track, you’ll guaranteed find it! (Full disclosure, the bow is blocked off when coming into port, and sometimes in port). Have an amazing time! We LOVED Catalina and Ensenada is a great day to have the ship to yourself!

We usually add tags on the ducks we bring (unless they’re extremely small) but this was one we found and re-hid! We don’t want to re-tag ducks as it’s fun for the original hiders to find where they’ve gone!

It truly was. If the opportunity to go again were to arise, I would immediately start working on figuring out how to go. For a Star Wars person, it’s a dream come true. It needed to be longer, but only a little was better than nothing at all.

The Starcruiser community has been so supportive and wholesome. I love the teachings of Together As One, and I think for so many of us, it really inspired the way the community continued to operate at this day!

Definitely not! 😂 I think we were trying to hide our double agent status from Croy and someone who had seen us a resistance aligned meetings was coming down the stairs! It’s that kind of intrigue though that makes the Starcruiser so special!

I tried to…mask…the camera work with photos or other inserts…or just cutting it out completely. Harder in conversations, but easier in some situations (see invitation from LT Croy. 🤣)

She’s a fantastic hotel and I love getting to showcase her unique features! It’s so amazing that our service members have a nice hotel to get to spend what time they have on leave with their families!
