    • @slleung8979
      @slleung8979 3 года назад +15

      @@mmphillips04ify No , Shohei is better than Babe Ruth. Babe only had less than 2 seasons doing both pitching and hitting jobs but he could only finished about one-third of games Shohei did and Babe stroke out far than less than 100 while Shohei stroke out 156 this season. When Babe became great home run hitters, he only pitched 2 games one year and 3 games the next year and no more pitching later in Yankees. Even Babe couldn't pitch and hit well at the same time. He had good results only when he chose to pitch at one period of time and hit in other years. Babe couldn't manage to do both for long( he did for a very short season) and couldn't do 2-ways well together either.

Then the second meeting with this unbelievably pitching win plus a league leading 40th HR might just win him mvp and cy young awards.

    Take out that start he had in the Bronx at Yankees Stadium when it was 100 degrees. They had him leadoff the top of the inning then he couldnt settle in to pitch the bottom half. He gave up 7 runs on 2 hits with 5 walks or so. He only gave up 4 runs but then the bullpen guy came in & gave up a bases clearing double so all the runs got charged to him. WITHOUT THAT START HIS ERA WOULD BE RIDICULOUSLY LOWER.
