My favorite testament. SOULS OF BLACK
Even that album cover was bad ass! \m/
@@ARod-br2ui Hell yeah. A buddy painted it on a jean jacket for me back when it came out.
I absolutely love Souls Of Black. Apparently the band didn’t like it because they were pushed to bring out an album to promote for the Clash Of The Titans tour and said it was just forced on them. Still one of my go to albums.
@@romanramirez6436 I think that practice what you preach don’t get a the attention it deserves. A kick ass album in itself.
I'm here to stay always.
The Ritual is a great album.
Is it there a bad testament album?
@@jovankuzmanovic2065 they are worse than the previous ones but there are no bad ones
My fave Testament song🤘🏼🔥
Testament is the biggest underrated band ever.
😂😂😂👏👏
thomas tischler numpty
Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, Kreator.
@@thomastischler1297 Slayer out? More like Anthrax.

I love seeing my dad Louie drumming away now that I'm grown. It's extra cool now!❤🎉😮😊
Louie is your dad? That's awesome. I wish I met him. The only member of this band I met in person is Alex. They are all so talented. This was their best lineup.
❤
That’s cool af! Fortunate enough to catch a drumstick of his while seeing them at the cow palace 🤘🏾
Please tell Louie I still don't quite get why he was showed the door. Politics? He belongs,,,
Whuuuut ❤
First heard Testament when I was 12.....32 yrs later and still scaring soccer moms at red lights with these titans roaring from the speakers! Bless you monsters!
I first heard Souls of Black when I was like 10 a year after it was released followed by The Ritual when I was 12 and I've loved them ever since then. Testament will always be a part of the thrash boom, imo.
Aren't you married to a soccer mom?
I was prolly 14 im 31 now tho , became a favorite song to play on rock band and introduced me to the band
@@phreakout93This song was out in 92. Your math doesn’t add up.
@@themetalhead1463 He heard the song on rock band bro, like 15 years ago
i discovered testament a few weeks ago and I can't stop listening to them
You just discovered one of the best bands of all time. I don't know why they aren't as popular as Metallica or Megadeth
+Ese1Pac well I am more of a megadeth guy but yes testament is definitely one of the greats
Hell yeah, Megadeth is awesome too! Just saying that Testament needs to be more popular because they are dope as fuck haha.
Lenovo Tab yeah Testament doesn't get enough credit for their f****** totally awesome music one of the best bands I ever saw live they blew the roof off that place it was f****** awesome
Ese1Pac preach brother
When it comes to an entire discography...Testament is hard to beat.
30 years later still one of the best metal songs. Perfect bassline and the drums have so much rhythm it makes you sick. After playing guitar for 35 years this is one of my all-time favorite songs to attempt to play. Chuck Billy is simply the best thrash metal singer, always has been.
Ritual is not their best album IMHO (and I wonder why they chose its weakest track as album title - that's a privilege reserved to Anvil ;-)), and this may be their most commercial song ever, but it's a killer - it has an incredible "flow", start to finish. It just grooves.
Even James Hatfield acknowledges them as the greatest thrash band .
Been jamming to this since I was teenager 49 now, still love it
Alex Skolnick - the most underrated guitarist ever
TSO
Roope Latvala is abolutely More underrated
He is a phenomenal guitarist!!!!! Been a huge fan of his since the mid 80s
used to like him but he's an insufferable sick w a stutter
Their best album Is The Gathering that was recorded with James Murphy
The ultimate thrash band.

THEY SHORTENED THE SOLO THATS BLASPHEMY
That's one of my favorite solos ever
Still mad

Its a great song
lizzy Q i concur. this whole album kicks ass
lizzy Q check out "hold me forever" by buckethead. Its on youtube. Its a 28 minute song/album dedicated to his mother who passed shortly before who wrote it.
It's good, but it isn't what they should play!
Good beers and friends at a gas station with this playing in the background best times ever
We need this genre back!! Great music never dies!!
[Music: Skolnick, Peterson]
[Lyrics: Billy, Scolnick]
Here we go
The people show
Victims of tomorrow
The way it goes
It never shows
Emptiness or sorrow
There is nothing left inside
Nothing left to cry for
So I justify my crimes
Things that I must die for
So alone
Away it goes
The life that you have wasted
You never know
Where it might go
The sweet success you've tasted
Tasted by a bitter frown
Knowing I must die for
Can't confide, to all the lies
No one to inquire
As I wander, change of seasons
As I realize
That I'll soon be there
I'll let you know
The reapers show
Makes you beg or borrow
He comes to see
The tragedy
His fate he will not follow
Wearing your electric crown
The preacher starts to pray
Shiver as the lights go down
Heed these words I say
As I wander
Change of seasons
I can't ponder
I got my reasons
As I realize
I don't care
All I know is
That I'll soon be there
Now it's gone
The time has come
The people stand in silence
Another dawn
Has come and gone
His fate has been decided
There is no one left inside
A brain without a mind
Traces of a bitter man
Are all you will find
As I wander
Change of seasons
I can't ponder
I got my reasons
As I realize
I don't care
All I know is
That I'll soon be there
That I'll soon be there
That I'll soon be there

I have been listening to Testament since the ‘80s , but I was too young to truly appreciate them and also grew up without cable television (MTV). I feel like I missed a lot , but I am so glad they are still together and touring. 🤘🏼❤️🔥
I'm 50 and I was playing this when I picked up my 11 year old. She said "what are you playing and why is it so loud?" It occurred to me that we are the first generation where our music is harder than our kids...

This was the song that got my hip-hop loving friend into metal. Had him over and we played this bad boy on Rock Band 4. Needless to say he made the switch quickly.

Loved this band at the time (and still do now). The Ritual was an album that pretty much summed up everything that 90s Thrash was about.

One of my fav Testament songs...
The Ritual in my opinion the strongest Testament album to date and the song "Electric Crown" is their best song EVER
Probably their best album yes but I would put The Sermon up with Electric Crown as their best song.
jcp1977 I like Low and Souls of Black a lot too. Also the Gathering
Versatile is definitely them. I would even go as far as saying that’s an understatement.
I would say the new order or practice what u preach. 2 great albums. Even souls of black. Low was a kick ass album too. First 4 albums are my favorite. LOVE old school TESTAMENT
Agreed
Starting the day with testament feels so good
IMHO their best song and the great solo....
yes! love testament!
Defo top 4 pure class
The soloing is tastefully reminescent of Warren DeMartini's early RATT days more than anybody else... All the notes sound spot on yet equally unique over a thrash background. Love the tone as well...
Dude seriously
I don’t care what anyone says, Testament is my favorite metal band. And I’ve been listening since the late 80’s (43).
this whole album rocks !!
I love this song! Metal at its best!
Absolutely 🎸
I think this is still the best song I've ever heard from them, all these years later
Most underrated metal band ever.
? early thrash monsters....
Old School, memories, oh man memories.
This the song that got me into thrash metal. An older buddy of mine was listening to it in the car with me as soon as I heard it I was addicted. It brought me and my buddy closer, and it lead me into a deep dive of thrash metal and older music in general from my older buddy. Im glad I got into thrash metal while most of the bands still active so I can see them live. We definitely going to see Testament when they next in town but next we seeing Exodus can't wait.
One of my favourite all time solos!
This is the only thrash song I've listened to that makes me sad and yet want to headbang at the same time
0:02 One of the greatest riffs ever written.
This opens up memories, the ritual

My favorite testament album. Even still.
Couldn’t agree more, it is a phenomenal album and criminally overlooked.
I saw Testament open for Priest many years ago. I’ll never forget when Chuck spit a loogie straight up in the air, then caught it in his mouth again and then spit it on the stage. Pure metal moment. !🤘🏻
