- Sheepshead have made their return to Galveston, Surfside Jetty, and Quintana Jetty. My crew and I had a decent bite, though nothing spectacular. Thank you Abraham. I’m not sure if I can help you on the jetty shoes since the ones I wear are discontinued. However I’m sure you can find some information on the internet. Yes I have 10lb mono on the Stella.

You can search up Quintana jetty Freeport Texas and you will get the directions to this jetty.
How long was leader and what type of hook you used?
I was fishing slip cork 8ft deep. J hook size 4
You use live shrimp for bait? Or does dead shrimp work as well?
I only use live shrimp. I’ve heard dead shrimp works but I have more success with live shrimp.
I go to the jetties at south padre. Is this corpus cristie?
This not corpus. If you are in south padre Quintana jetty is around 6 hours away. However south padre fishing is much better so don’t feel like you are missing out !
I fished the jetties at south padre island many times I've never caught a limit of any species
Don’t take this in a rude way but it’s definitely an angler problem. South padre jetty is one of the best fishing locations in Texas. I went once a few years ago and caught a limit of king mackerel in less than a few hours. Hopefully this year I can go again. !

Yes correct aluminum. Net is around 20 inches wide and length fully stretched is around 15feet
