I don't think that was part of the DLC. It was like one of the first levels of Deus Ex: Human Revolution where that happens. Haven't watched his playthrough of it though :( I should get on that :P
Seen this part of the game in about 3 different playthroughs, and just now noticed that every knight has their own "voice." They all sound different when you talk to them, fitting their size and personality, which is awesome. It's the little things.
I would have preferred to see Jesse work out how to get through it to be honest, that's the main reason I watch blind LPs. But I suppose Jirard did deserve to show off his skills.

If i remember correctly , if you have the golden armor on and speak with king knight after you save him he has a different text then the one shown in this video.
That part around 3:00 you did Jirard, where you switched from the dagger to the locket, that was the first time I've seen someone do it that way. I just used the propeller twice and it worked fine.

For anyone wondering, the boss rush is MUCH harder on New Game + mode. The Knights do double damage to you and you only get health every other fight. IMO it's the hardest fight in the game.
I challenge Jirard to play this without using the phase locket. I'm interested to see how he deal without that crutch because, let's face it, he uses it way too often.
I also watched the game grumps lets play of this and both Arin and Jirard switched to the phase locket at the 2:50 part when you can just use the flying dagger twice to get across it (which I think is how you're "supposed" to do it). weird.
Since we've seen Black Knight again I may as well point this out. According to the bio of him done by the developers, Black Knight has a pretty squeaky voice.
Jirard that spikes part on frigid flight wouldve been much less complicated and much more easier if you used the propellor dagger multiple times... invincibility isnt the only option in this game, as youre making it out to be... (it was probably my least used item...)

That part where the ceiling and floor can crush you was the bane of my existence the first time through the game.

When propeller knight goes into the air, just spam throwing anchor. He goes down pretty easily after that.

Because you had to shovel when pulling up the beaten knights does that mean you could choose to save some of them and let the others die.
I beat the boss rush on the first try. personally I found it to be much easier than the original fights.
I once thought I could beat this game... now I know I couldn't.
