Jesse, you got a full 20 min episode from ONE level. That destroying the checkpoint thing might help make this a long and enjoyable (while frustrating) series. Which I, for one, am all for! Stay awesome Jesse.

when you go left at the beginning of pridemoor, when you jump over to where the music sheet is, you can break the top wall that blocks your path, I shall not spoil what lies within.
It's just when you jump to the area where the first music sheet is, hit the wall across from you with your shovel. The wall should explode and you should see a yacht club games logo and some gems.
At the area to the left of the start in pridemoor, above where you git the music note there's an easter egg if you hit that big slab of brick with your shovel~
Whilst I'm loving this and both of you playing this, I don't think Jirard should have said anything about the destroy-all-checkpoints achievement. There are some things you just DON'T do on your first playthrough, which is what this is for Jesse.
Fraps is capturing and 30fps and the game runs at 60fps so when shovel knight get hit he starts to blink. His invisibility frames just happen to match up with whats being displayed.
This is an interesting social experiment. Put two guys in a room with a fun video game. One being a completionist and the other being person who's OCD is loot. What is the result? Guess... Not well. Conclusion: It works well enough! OCD guy gets all the fat-loots, with completionist guy giving him all the sweet hints... with mild tension.
Watching Gerard was hilariously contrasting to Jesse. Edit: I use gerard, blondie uses geralt someone else uses jirard. Is there any official name here?
I can imagine..a haunter just like...pokin through a walls, rudely interuptin a conversation with a helpful tip, but sayin it in like a really snarky way, before just flippin off the person it's talkin to and slowly receedin back into the wall it came through XD
I thinks it's those after-hit-invincibility flashes like in old nes/snes games but the capture software doesn't pick it up because of the framerate and/or hertz I think, I bet someone can elaborate on that.
you missed the yacht club thing in the begining! when you got the music sheet you could have attacked the wall on the top and it breaks away to the yacht club icon in gold (straight easter egg)

It's because RUclips doesn't play at 60 FPS yet, so it doesn't go through the whole flashing animaton.
