@@KitGuruTech I'm not a high intensity reaction time gamer who has to have maximum FPS but I love the quietness of this card. I enjoy Train Sim World which looks great at 4K at 60Hz. It's early days yet, love the quietness in particular, and the value sweet spot for nVidia. This currently sits in an old Fractal Design Node 304 and is driven by a Ivy Bridge Xeon E3-1240 v2 (Noctua NH-L9x65 cooler). This is equivalent to an i7-3770 without the iGPU. The PSU is a 400w Be Quiet! SFX 2. (Great customer service from Fractal Design as I had to repair the 304 after dropping it before bringing it back into service.) The system is pretty much silent until the graphics card starts working hard at which point it is quiet but audible. I want my system to be very quiet and reasonably priced. This does what I want. Thanks, Dominic.

I've been looking for a good GPU for a little while now and I think this is my best choice. Really wish I could go for a 2070 but budget is limited so this probably is the best choice, very nice review by the way, you earned a new sub!
@@julio4206 maybe, i run on dx 12, mostly ultra, a couple settings at medium that dont effect fidelity much and i get between 115 and 160 fps with this card.
Thanks! This was very professional and useful. I was comparing this card and a more expensive card and I needed mostly the temperature and noise metrics for my client. Love you! I will pick this card.
Dont know how its in ur Country. But Maybe consider a used 1080ti?!.. in Germany u can get Premium brand ones half to Year old already for 500euro. Just fyi...
depends on the game you play and whether the extra frames are important to you. if you a FPS/Shooter type gamer and you have a 60hz 1080p monitor and setup with 1070SC can still hold constant 60fps then it's fine to keep. Tweak the graphics settings and save $$$. But if you have 144hz+ 1440p monitor, you need to go all the way to 2080ti and still expect to drop some settings... To give you an idea, for division 2, my Aorus Waterforce 2080ti @ 1440p / i7 9700k struggles to hold constant 144fps on ultra / high settings.
For those notebook / ultrabook gamers, I have this card in an Asus XG Station Pro eGPU over Thunderbolt 3, with vsync off, it fluctuates between 70-100fps on med-high settings in Division 2 @ 1080p. Note: My eGPU is connected to a 2019 Razer Blade Stealth Ultrabook FH0 60hz, i7-8565U 1.8ghz/4.6ghz (avg 3.1ghz in game). All I can say is, not bad for a A$550 card so look out for a price drop. Well worth it.
idk if it matters, but i have this card and it excels, gave it an OC and i average 115 fps in warzone. 1080p all maxed settings. seems to be a good 60 series performer
I need advice, I bought an MSI RTX 2060 and it is quite overheated (80 C and the fan is noisy), which card would you recommend with the RTX 2060 series?
Well this one is a good choice because it stays very cool in my case. Not over 65 degrees with Doom eternal on very High. In terms of performance you'd better go for the Super if you have the money.
check case cooling for bad airflow, and consider figuring out which screws attach the heatsink to the processor of the card, and tighten them. ive heard of heavy gpu's pulling away and lifting slightly if they came from factory with too long of screws or not enough torque.

Yes the RTX 2060 Super is faster only 12% slower than the RTX 2070 with Ray Tracing you are loosing frame rates hence all the different variations from nVidia. I suppose time will tell if teh Ray Tracing is here to stay with us and AMD will be doing a catching up again, it all depends on game developers if they want to stick to it.
