None keep your 1060 and wait for 2160 for the next upgrade. The 1060 does a fine job with a little undervolt and a little oc on 1080p high on most games.

This channel is not even close to the category where hardware unboxed is... Sometimes its like watching Monty Python version of hardware unboxed. Did you see his video "can you run Call of Duty Black Ops 4 ,1080p @ 60FPS"? He answered "yes" while using 50% scaling :/ .... Its not 1080p then!

@Nakatomi Plaza in India we practice vedic Astrology which is a proven science. As a matter of fact I'm an astrologer and certain sections of the sky are ruled by dieties of those stars which in language might be fairies ...so I ask those fairies to bless him ..Lol . Please look into 'micheal Reed ' of Uk who practices 'authenic astrology' and if in the USA you can look up 'dennis harness' or 'joni patry' who makes world prediction using astronomy and Vedic astrology combined. (Different from western Astrology which is a tropical based science).

GPU at 100% and CPU (2500K) at a mere 20%. Constant computer hard crashes and reboots. Now its running a 60fps. GPU at 38% and CPU at 40% ans no crashes. Life is good again. Sound pressure is only one of the sound characteristics that can describe fan noise, this channel deserves more views for making the effort to describe this.
A value chart at the end would have been nice. Single fan cards are underrated, they have "softer" pitch as described, are cheaper, fit better in all cases and allow better airflow. Double fan designs can have air flow interference and dead flow zones between the fans, not to mention the extra noise if they are smaller in diameter.

This is a very useful video. Thanks for making it. I'm actually surprised at Gigabyte's performance, I had thought of them as bad coolers due to previous generation's designs. But now this changes everything since they are actually generally cheaper than other cards.
The VRAM usage is very concerning for these cards, they only have 6GB and the game is already using 5.5GB, performance is nice but the VRAM thing can be trouble in the future. I'm assuming this is 1080p from the FPS, but what are the graphical settings used? I know this is not the scope of this video but I'm interested in this personally.
With the overclocks, did you raise the power limits of the cards as much as possible?
It would have been nice if you had included a chart with the clocks each card got after OC, or clocks gained, or both, maybe this is not so easy to make, I don't really know.

What an awesome review! You sir, earned a like and subscribe!
I loved how much emphasis you put into noise! Not many benchmarks give you information about this and for me, this could be The deciding factor, that would make me pick a card in favor of another.
Will you be doing a review of the MSI RTX 2060 gaming-Z?
    Let me know, to click on that bell (;

    Hello, very good video indeed.
Something is confusing though when it comes to the Zotac :
In the list you write Zotac Twin Fan, and the box displayed in the video shows an "AMP" tag on it, so ...... WHICH one did you put in the test config ?? The Zotac 2060 twin fan OR the Zotac 2060 AMP edition ? Here in France the AMP one is about 30-40€ more ....
    Cheers

I watch tech videos all the time. Why hasnt youtube ever recommended me this?
Anyway, praise be to you! Had been looking all over the internet for review comparisons, particularly on noise. Just so happens the gigabyte gaming OC is one of the more affordable (and in stock) cards where i live. Low noise is my #1 priority.
I have an old 3 fan gigabyte 770 and i have been really happy with that, so i think its settled.

You are really getting the structure of these videos honed down to a really fine concise size. My only criticism would be, it would be nice to have some quick B roll of each card running, partly to get a better look at them close up. And also to get an idea of what they look like in the case environment, what with so many coming with custom back plates and different lighting these days. Just nice to see them in action, if only briefly.

I just guessed the two triple fan cards correctly xD. Then I guessed that the one in the middle right was the single fan zotac, the middle left one was a dual fan one and the two on the top were single fan versions. Not that accurate xD

For those people that change their video cards like they do their sock, this review is relevant to some degree. When you factor in initial quality, support and longevity, the ratings change IMO. Also, who can hear the card fans over the chassis fans in an enclosed case? Not many I'll bet. I ran my Asus ROG Strix 1070 OC for 5 years, 18 hrs a day and it just started to fail.... after a lightning surge at my house. I'm disabled so I'm on the PC too much probably but, I'll spent an extra $50-100 for Asus every time!
