I love how he’s naturally handsome no plasticity to his looks. I have a suspicion he’s smarter than 99.99999 of humanity and he’s always gently lovingly mocking us. 😂
Growing up with an actor one might see how incredibly well he did in Heretic. Growing up a mormon one might see the obvious mind manipulation through indoctrination mormons(LD$) are capable of. Excellent Show !!
watched it last night with a few friends and we all went away and loved it, a very clever well thought out film, kept me second guessing with which way it was going the whole time, definitely up there with one of the best films of the year and Hugh deserves an award for his performance 🙏🏼☺️
Love this movie. Extroardinarily tense and foreboding. Hugh Grant has become one of my favourite actors. The two female leads, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East, were amazing too.
I'm very impressed with the boundaries being broken in Hugh Grant's range since working with Guy Richie. It seems that Hugh may turn out to be a great character actor on par with Anthony Hopkins, and I look forward to enjoying more of his craft in future projects.
The movie was amazing. My mom passed away a couple of years ago and she was very religious. I wouldn not be able to give an exact explanation why but i cried in the end of the movie. ❤

Oh this is a BAFTA interview?! Well then BAFTA clicks bait just like the lowly others. because the title of the video "Hugh Grant Reveals All : Dinner with Sophie Thatcher After Heretic Filmng" -- that title is misleading. Because it implies that Hugh Grant "reveals" that he and Sophie Thatcher had dinner together just the two of them. But the fact is, if you watch the video, the dinner was not only Grant and Thatcher but with all the other cast.
the movie really fell apart at the end considering how detail was seemingly supposed to be such a large element to this ... the part where the two slave wifes traded places how can we believe the slave woman who can barely walk moved the table lifted a heavy door picked up a dead body somehow brought her down the chute and then carried her about 15 feet in the tunnel climbed back up shut the door moved the table back in place all in about 30 seconds (with nobody hearing anything) Yeah no sorry...this was pretty stupid...also why or how she threw up blueberry pie after she pretended to be resurrected when she wasn't even the one who ate the pie is kinda stupid after the fact. The movie was pretty good leading up to that point but those last few scenes destroyed the momentum they built up to that point. Also, people don't die from mandrake or belladonna poisoning in 15 seconds its a long excruciating death...mentioning specifically those plants was again stupid. Critical details like this are gonna hurt the longevity of this film because after you watch it you begin to realize the most important parts make no sense.
Agreed. The movie hit 10/10 in cinematography, acting and overall creep factor, and while the plot and premise were very promising in the end they are very weak.
Your assuming Mr Reed was being honest about the poison pie, when all throughout the film he was lying nonstop. All his slaves were brainwashed to serve him. He could have told them any instructions like: pretend to die, move a body, etc. They followed his instructions without question, just like religious followers do.
@@NathanHassall the women in the cages followed all his orders - even eating a poison pie. They let him cut off a finger at a certain point. When asked, he said: "why do you let me do this to you?" The movie is making a point that ultimately religion or control can make people do things that harm themselves.

Yep, Oxford.. 😎
That’s just classic English villainy

I really hope he gets awards for this amazing performance
He won’t but yea he was great
🫣😵💫✌🏻💥✅💯🥰
Definetly !!!
It was pretty good but there were a lot of better movies in 2024.
Love how fast he answered "Midsommar" as his favorite A24 horror movie 👑👑
i’m not English native speaker, and it’s so relaxing to listen to Hugh’s accent, very easy to understand

Like a classic fine wine Hugh Grant gets better and better and has greater value as an actor as the years go by.
In my opinion Heretic is one of the best movie in 2024 and Hugh Grant's best performance
*Hugh Grant* is phenomenal actor. He deserves to win Oscar!! 🙇♀️🏆💓
Yes, he's done some amazing films.
Hugh is really good when heˋs good, but when heˋs bad, heˋs better. Great Actor - Love him since Four Weddings an a Funeral.
And I since "Maurice“ !!

I am bewitched now did Hugh manage to look so young and handsome !!!

Watched it last night at the cinema, absolutely loved it
He's great! Brutally honest and down to earth!
Grant is the like the brian cox of Acting ...perfect english spoken high education soft but assured and tells the story with body language perfectly .
I think he is a real bright guy. If he wants to do a horror character, he will make it work.
This film is so good, I saw it twice 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽💯
Midsommar was great, I cant wait to see that
The movie was amazing. My mom passed away a couple of years ago and she was very religious. I wouldn not be able to give an exact explanation why but i cried in the end of the movie. ❤
He’s so wonderful to watch and even more so because he’s actually ageing naturally and you can see so much in his face.
This is a great film
I've never noticed it before but I reckon there's a bit of the Bill Clinton about Hugh. Similar charisma
Handsome handsome handsome❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I agree. So dreamy 😊
Amazing work went into this film! Well done to all of the actors!
Just watched it. He was incredible.
If you watch the director's cut deleted scene, Hugh Grant's character takes his rubber mask off and is revealed that it was Richard Dawkins all along
Midsommar is my favorite too. Fantastic films both.
I agree with the old fella on Midsommar
Amazing Act by Hugh Grant.. thank you Mr Hugh🎉
Love his mantis-like mannerisms, depth and humor.

Great movie...loved the "ive never had a wendy" line
Hugh grant has the most intense eyes iv ever seen. Idk if its the severe wrinkling on the botton "bags" of his eyes but its intimidating af!
Huegh Grant in this movie is STUPENDO! 😊
I want Hugh Grant to be my Dad
✨HERETIC!!❤️💙__________________________________________________________________________________________________

Loved the movie, hated the ending. 😢
