      That was my favorite part. In fact it reminded me of another scene from a long ago Nicole Kidman film…. When a young Joaquin Phoenix (whose character is in doomed love with Nicole Kidman’s predatory character) dances for Nicole in To Die For.

    Soundtrack was great. I was very uncomfortable during several moments, which I guess was the point. Harris is phenomenal. So captivating. This movie is not for everyone, but every scene was written really well and acted extremely well. You could see and feel what was going on in every characters mind. I liked the reoccurring motifs throughout the film with the dog and the scene with her laying on the ground. I personally can’t relate much to what the characters wanted or went through but the film did a great job at making you understand their desires. Although their actions were morally wrong (in terms of hurting the people around them), I admired their selfishness in moments where they needed to be.
    I always loved George Michaels father figure…but now I love it even more.

      I think it is a bunch of nonsense. The director claims that only women would be punished in this situation. Uhm, men and husbands would be too. No one wants a spouse who has affairs because you don't want to do kinky stuff. You got daddy issues? Sort them out with a therapist. This is all under the guise of se x ual liberation. As if The Netherlands ( where I am from as well) suffers from any suppression to begin with.

      @chateaupig826he put himself directly in front of her in the beginning, so she’d notice him. But I don’t think either of them knew what they were doing at first. and were trying to figure it out. By the time we get to “I don’t think you’re comfortable there, sit on the corner of the desk” he had it figured out. It also helped that he’s taller than her, no small feat since she’s 5’11”, it allowed him to loom over her.

      @chateaupig826well their relationship had no where to go at that point so it had to end somehow. She did benefit from it in the long run. I didn’t like how so many people online completely misread the scene of him with the dog at the end as literal instead of metaphorical. They thought the dog was his and he set the whole thing up. Instead of how she kept the idea of him in her head.

      @rosewithhope Year ago +65

      I know this is long, but hear me out.
      He actually isn’t very shy. No one that plays a power play role like the one that he played in the movie”Baby Girl” could be very shy.
      From my observation it’s him trying to keep his cool, being that they are not role playing he understands this is a married woman and they are being interviewed and he can’t show that he is truly enamored by her. The way that she looks at him during the interviews (that I’ve seen) shows that the feeling is mutual and she also is trying to keep her composure around him, because she doesn’t want anyone to know that this was more than a role for her.
      They have hot blooded chemistry with one another! Period! I can see and feel it oozing out of the screen. He avoids looking at her, because it would be a dead giveaway away, but she steals a glance at him every chance that she gets. Also, I saw at the end of this interview while he was talking she looked at him towards the eyes and her gaze drifted to his lips. If a woman does that she finds you attractive. She finds him attractive and she is attracted to him in the highest way possible, but she has to be reserved.
      I watched this interview amongst others and I can see that this chance meeting with these two sparked something in the both of them during the filming of this movie.
      I hope she eases out of the role and comes down from the clouds to her reality. She has a beautiful family and I would t want her to ruin it with this handsome young lad. He has a long career ahead of him hopefully and deserves the best to live his life out and have a family of his own someday.
      Thanks you for reading this. Thumbs up if you like my analysis. Lol!

  • @lillian9676

    It’s interesting and ironic that she says that women are punished for exploring these things. They either lose their marriage or lose everything and this is a celebration. She can keep celebrating, but she’s lost her marriage unfortunately because of it.

    • @_Pia12
      @_Pia12 5 months ago +1

      Yeah, apparently getting away with adultery is something to be “celebrated”. 🙄 NK is insane.

    • @newasblue1981
      @newasblue1981 5 months ago +1

      She lost her marriage because of what? Being an actress? That's ridiculous. Why are you strnage women pushing this narrative. She has been making these types of films for the past 25 years. Grow up!

    • @olallagarcia1396
      @olallagarcia1396 5 months ago +4

      Why is "losing her marriage" necessarily a bad thing? Is it better to stay in a bad marriage? Sure, it hurts in the moment, but in retrospect divorcing Tom Cruise is the best thing that could have ever happened to Nicole Kidman (personally and professionally), and hopefully it will be the same now.

    • @olallagarcia1396
      @olallagarcia1396 5 months ago +1

      @_Pia12 the fact that your takeaway from the movie is that it's about a woman "getting away with adultery" is all we need to know...

    • @megan2878
      @megan2878 5 months ago +1

      @olallagarcia1396 There's no mention that the husband who proposed and put a diamond on it, then cheated all the way through the engagement, but was was considerate enough to stop three weeks before the wedding. Now a 25 year old F is pregnant to a 57 yo married M. He certainly is a pristine example of husband material, whose children have told him that 59 days a year of seeing him is plenty. A lot more to come yet.
