    Very nice work, very interesting seeing how something as large and ungainly in shape is actually handled.

      We have a Spyder Crane for tricky installs. We make them out of aluminum so one person can move it around. We have a stand that bolts to the base plate and we use a winch to pull it up when we can't use the crane.

    Customer call for tig? Mig seems more practical & easier for this type application. Personally I wouldn’t have used tig

    • @crj1249
      @crj1249 Год назад

      Why? Because you can't tig Weld?

    • @889976889

      I can but why do things the hard way?

    • @WeldingBusinessOwnersPodcast
      @WeldingBusinessOwnersPodcast Год назад +2

      We use tig because there can't be any spatter or burrs. It's slightly slower but if you figure in cleanup time, it's the same. And tig gives a better profile which people like.

      That’s what I was wondering f the customer called for tig. I use to build spiral stairs we mig everything but the handrails.
