I've literally never had a Dragonite game where I didn't get at least one water and one electric out of 4. 3 and 1? Sure. Also, Sabrina is of low value in Dragonite decks. A better stall is the new Jigglypuff. Seriously, it's no wonder you have such a low opinion of Dragonite decks.
Never??? Not even one? I think statistically there’s a small percentage chance you actually never get a certain type of energy. It’s single digit but it’s very real. Dragonite is fun, it just isn’t as good as the first 3 decks mentioned even with no ex decks
@NothingButBangersYT Possible doesn't mean it's significant. Dragonite is one of my favorite decks, so I play a lot of it. And I've never been in an energy drought situation. Like I said, the chance may he non-zero, but it's not significant. Much more likely is not drawing your evolutions quickly enough. That's cost me the most games. That's why I added promo Jigglypuff. It works wonders.
@jatwood9648 so that’s actually the problem right? Because it’s two energy and stage 2 you have both of those potential outcomes that can almost result in auto losses. Let’s say it’s 2-5% chance you never get the right energy, that’s 2-5% higher than almost every other deck compounding with the stage 2 “problems”
@NothingButBangersYT Let's look at it the other way, what are the odds of you having a fully evolved Dragonite on uour energy turn 4 that couldn't attack? That's the only time I see it being a problem. Because the longer you go, the more likely you'll have both energy.
Yeah and those games might literally be lost because of that, it's definitely happened to me but I was playing in regular format. Its definitely a fun deck, just one of those things where almost everyone has experienced not having the right energy at one point or another. To never have that happen is quite lucky unless your volume of games is very low
