4:08 to 4:22 right before The Killer Riff (because it's so goude heheh) is definitely my favorite guitar work of the whole song. Teemu must really get a good workout from that lol.
Hell yeah, someone finally agrees with me that the true killer riff is in fact the one before it
Even though I love and will always love the version on the record, it's quite nice to be able to appreciate the bands playing (especially the guitars which are kinda buried in the mix).
Wintersun is so underappreciated, but at least they know people really listen to them for what they truly are.

I wouldn't say useless, but I would say they were unnecessarily thick. I headbang more to these versions than I do the originals, but the orchestrations just add so much more colour and atmosphere. They could've been toned down a bit though.

Jari wasted his "Time" while he could do a lot with his skill instead of just working on Wintersun.
I see what you're saying, I can understand the frustration with that. I guess the problem here is Jari's perfectionism and desire to acheive his vision without compromise. Which is admirable to an extent, but for the fans it's just frustrating.
As a result, are your expectations for Time II pretty low?
WintersunExtras Well Forest album is crap in my opinion. Besides Loneliness and Eternal Darkness is bearable without the layers.
If they continue on as a band who feeds themselves off from donations I see a dark future ahead of them.
They got thousands of euros from crowdfunding and yet they still talk about doing another one.
What type of sound 500k euros cannot buy ffs?
I hope Time 2 manages to crack a hole in the universe or else I am seeing Wintersun dead in it's future.
They would not be Wintersun without the orchestrations and synths. Why even listen to them? You might as well ask Nightwish to remove orchestrations...
