Plenty of gun channels suggest supporting gun rights organizations in their videos. I think knife channels should start suggesting people support kniferights.org, they do so much work getting these ridiculous knife laws repealed.

I can strap a 12 gauge to my back and holster carry a desert eagle and walk down the street, no legalities to worry about. If I have an automatic knife in my pocket it's a felony. Come on Ohio.🙄

Does anyone know why Nick Shabazz doesn't review any Microtechs? I vaguely remember it's because he doesn't like Tony Marfione. Or maybe because they always use proprietary screws to lock out users. But I've never gotten an exact answer

If i’m not mistaken from when I was a teenager in the 80’s a stilleto or angel blade is front thrust ejected and a switchblade was side ejected
Just picked up my first MT, a very early production run Dirac. It's a beautifully engineered piece that will live its life as a safe queen and fidget toy. Its far and away the most expensive knife I've ever bought and I doubt I would EDC it even if were legal where I live which it is certainly not.
With 10 Microtechs you guys are WAY more than casual collectors. Nice collection!
Most cops would probably think it is sweet and then use the stupid knife laws to confiscate your knife for their own collection while leading you to believe they are letting you off. We need to get these ridiculous knife laws removed!

Yes knife laws are beyond stupid. Here's a story involving a microtech, I seen this actually happen, a guy gets in a car accident that wasn't his fault, police on the scene find his microtech that went flying and decide to charge him with a felony for it. The guys being carried off unconscious by paramedics and police hit him with a life altering felony. Even though this had nothing to do with me it caused me to truly despise knife laws.
That's insane. I can carry mine in my state with my conceal carry permit but it's dumb that having a certain knife can effectively ruin your life if you are caught possessing it. This nonsense needs to stop. It's as bad as ten round featureless rifles. They can make anything illegal at anytime if we don't hold them to the constitution. I think people are starting to see this fact thanks to the covid lockdowns.

Not sure if it would be legal in Michigan or not. Full autos were made legal not long ago, so that aspect is fine. But the double edge may make it a "dagger" which I think are still restricted. I have read the related laws front-to-back and I have yet to make any real sense of them. Exactly how the lawmakers intended, I'm sure.
Another i plan to get, but im holding out in hopes of a particular serial number. Frankie you may know this but for the stiff action buttons try catching the top of the button in the bent crease of your thumb(1st joint from your nail) almost you are trying to pin it thumb wrestling. Hard to describe with no pic but it does seem to be easier to actuate.

I like that. I work in Charlotte NC, and their city ordinance says anything over 3.5" is a weapon, so I kind of worry about carrying my 4" Recon 1. Yes it is stupid in a place where you can open carry a bloody handgun. Our concealed carry permits do not cover anything but guns. I would rather use a knife in a crowded environ than take the chance of missing a shot, not to mention ricochets. I my local town it is illegal to carry a knife over 2.5' in a park, because no one ever gets mugged in a park. Do they not get that only conscientious , law abiding people like me even check to see what the laws are? "Hey Johnny let's go roll some b**ch and get high" . "Hold up Roscoe, let me check the local statues on blade length first, we don't want to get into trouble"

I am not really a fan of dagger blades because most are not exactly symmetrical but Microtech really get them right and their blades look amazing

Yeah I believe there’s a new law in Texas where you can carry any size blade now so like you could technically walk around with a sword I could be wrong but I was told about that

Never really been interested in automatics. Do they have any blade play? Microtech's always look cheap to me regardless of the price.

I live in Florida .... you should see some the reactions when I take my Halo VI out and fire that puppy. I carry it in a kydex sheath. I have a Dirac Delta coming next week.

I feel like the utx 70 or 85 would be more practical, but I'm not super well versed in automatics so I very well could be wrong. It just seems like the face mounted switch would more fiddly than the side mounted button, both in the pocket and in the hand.

Just picked up a Troodon with blue hardware and d/e Damascus blade and an Ultratech clear top with bronze hardware and hellhound blade. Does that make me a casual microtech collector?!

I knew I left a comment on here! I ended up winning a dirac in a raffle. SN 169!! I also got curious about the name and the Dirac Delta is a mathematical function that when graphed; looks much like a dagger blade.
Pretty much everything’s legal as long as you aren’t carrying a machete around. My states laws are pretty amazing compared to others I’ve looked at.
You should check out the vespa ripper. It’s an original vespa design with a lot of bang for the buck!
The ripper is pretty nice, I was surprised. I think it has a scifi samurai looking style going on which is pretty neat.

Just bought a Microtech Ultratech manufactured 02/2019 from Blade HQ. Got it a week and a half later...5 minutes after that the knife was locked up inside the blade.
Had to return it, still waiting on the refund to order another! The question is...Does this reflect the knife's reliability and things to expect if I were to order another? Should I waste my time? I mean, I can order many knives for that same $300.00!!
I'm worried about this kind of an investment...I'm not impressed so far and I dont want to be the stupid guy who bought it again after the first disappoint.

If I was a betting man, I'd say Microtech copied the Zulu Spear, which wouldn't be anything new .
I know this is an old comment but the name comes from a mathematical equation. When you graph the dirac equation, it's a dagger shape.
I don’t own a microtech yet. I do have a few of them on my radar. No daggers for me though. I don’t see them as useful for my needs but that’s just me
