I think the minimum wage is GROSS payment, hence no tax deductions applied into it yet. However in this video he is making 25$ per hour as a NET payment. I would assume he is making more than 30$ per hour if you’re gonna compare it with the national minimum wage.
Hey mate, Are you in NSW because I'm curious about car rego & insurance since you are now using the car for business too. Did you update the registration type & insurance policy for 'business' use & now much extra was that for you?
@@NSHarrison Still registered as Private Rego as i only do this casually. For insurance i use NRMA third party. They still cover you while you do deliveries and even uber eats too. Not sure how much extra it is but it wasn’t too much compared to others and NRMA was the only one that would insure for delivery drivers

Hey mate. I finished my on boarding. Is there any tricks to getting blocks. I logged in on Friday at 10 am and nothing is showing. Did I miss our or do I need to update my availability or something else? Cheers
@@viq234 It’s been very difficult to get blocks lately especially for sedan 4hr blocks. I haven’t done a shift since this video. Best thing you can do is to get ready to accept blocks around 6pm friday. That’s when they usually release blocks for the week.
Interesting video and good breakdown. It's definitely not much pay, but I am considering it.
its amazing just 90c more than the national minimum wage which is $24.10 per hour.
Rest in peace Delivery Drivers 😭😭😭
