I'm grateful for this. My mom doesn't participate in this, but we had some youth doing these things during holy hour and she thought it was beautiful .. I thought it was scary.. and felt like a jerk for not respecting their experience. But I don't think God works on command like they seemed to act
I feel very divided on this. I was in the Charismatic renewal in the 80s and it had some benefits. Yet I also feel it lead me into a quasi Protestantism which confused me and resulted in me leaving the church. Now that I have returned to the church, I am wary of its errors. Yet I see are still many good fruits come out of the Charismatic movement. Many Holy priests and nuns and evangelist who have revitalised whole regions of the church.
Some people came back to the Church (in the 80's) because of the Charismatic movement. However, what is baffling is, if and as they learned more about Catholicism, they should have and would have realized this 'movement' is not Catholic. Why would someone keep practicing something that has been proven not Catholic if not for their own possible gain?!? Very good, Kennedy. Thank you. It's the Jim Jones' effect.
Wrong sleepinglioness…the Charismatic renewal led me deeply into the Church! No apologies for my stance,,,I love the Lord and the Church and the gifts God continually pours out I do not reject. I’ve learned with continuing Catholic education, prayer, spiritual direction and discernment to keep my eyes on Jesus.

@@gailmiller5226 From the way you speak about 'traditional Catholics' you don't seem to have much charity towards them. And yet St Paul teaches that charity is the most essential element of holiness.
I’ll tell you exactly why this movement still exists. In the Novus Ordo there is a great amount of seeking for the supernatural. Lots of people chasing apparitions and feelings and consolations. Why? It may be a lack of grace due to the new mass; a misconception of what it means to be a Catholic due to the encroaching Protestantism; or simply the longing for devotions that have been done away with.
The movement exists because God loves us and wants to pour out His Holy Spirit on us and give us gifts - and yes, consolations and encounters with Him that heal us and enable us to be strong witnesses for Him. It's quite simple.
@@MillionthUsername did you listen to this video or do any research at all? Demons can pretend, can literally GIVE emotions (which are just forms of energy), can prophecy, can deceive us under the guise of the Holy Spirit or an Angel of light.
Could you give examples of the NO officially seeking the supernatural? Where the catholic dogma teaches people to “cahse apparitions and feelings…”? Do have any catechism paragraphs to support your claim?
@@theyliveyousleep8965Jesus said, you are faithless, you seek signs and miracles. John 4:48 I think that people don’t want to embrace the aridity in prayer that even the greatest of the mystics experienced. Instead you want to feel special and the evil one takes advantage of that.
@@MillionthUsername Beware of what "spirit" is being poured out. "Che lingua parli?" This question translated from Italian means, "What language do you speak?" However it's word for word translation is, "What tongue do you speak?" All latin languages use the word for tongue as the word for language. It's clear to me that this "gift of tongues" BS is an example of a phrase that got lost in translation when the Bible was translated to English. When the protestant split happened, the Bible was translated from Latin to English. It's immediately quite obvious to me as an Italian speaker, and should be to anyone who speaks a language that came from latin that the use of the word "tongue" or "tongues" in the Bible means "language", and not your body part that resides in your mouth. When you read all the related verses with this in mind, you will see how the Bible is always speaking about an actual language! I would be curious to know how to say, "What language do you speak?" in Aramaic, Greek, and Hebrew. As for the gibberish mumbling that takes place, I think for some they are faking, like a "keeping up with the Jones'" effect in order to fit in. And for those who do feel some type of trance type sensation, it seems to me, they are in a semi-hypnotic or meditative state, which all of can achieve naturally by simply humming. The ability to speak is a gift from God, just like all our senses are. To touch and feel, to smell, to taste, to see, to hear. These are real gifts. Our lives are gifts. Nope, the "gift of tongues" is false, anyway you slice it! I do believe, as it does say in the Bible, that God can take over your speech and have you speak in a distinguishable real and understandable language. He has given so many the ability to easily learn and understand other languages aswell so we can teach and spread His Word! The same is true of the adversary. And the proof of this is found in demonic possession. What is one of the telltale signs of possesion when assessed by an Exorcist? That the possessed person is speaking in a language they couldn't possibly know. It's very clear. The truth is never complicated.
Traditional Mass, Novos Ordo Mass, there's beauty in both, and that beauty is the Eucharist..Why are fighting and pointing fingers at each other?..Should we not focus on winning souls for Christ?..The enemy has entered the church to distroy it, and this division is not of God..I'm proud to be Catholic Charismatic, and my focus is to win souls for Christ..In the end God will judge us..

When I was an Evangelical, in the 90s there was a movement called the Toronto Blessing. The people were very sincere but it seemed like it was based on suggestion and emotionalism. People would drop to the floor and be “slain in the spirit” for hours! If anything, it seemed degrading to me
Been there, done that in the early 90s. In fact, it was a trip to Toronto that rendered me DONE with the charismania. Some on the floor howling and laughing, people falling down, running, talking gibberish, singing, twitching….I’ve seen saner people in the mental ward.

Fascinating, thank you. Listening to tongues always made me feel uncomfortable. I have never been 'slain in the spirit', although many in the line did fall down and were caught whilst falling backwards. I was encouraged to fall backwards by pushed on the forehead whilst being prayed over.
Resting in the Spirit is a little foretaste of Heaven. When the Lord first touched me like this my life changed instantly. That was over 40 years ago. He has blessed me with that many many many times. For me, I experience the power of God flowing into me "like electricity" (although that's a poor analogy). It is an intense, deep, thick peace. And then the joy of the Lord fills me and I want to leave this place and be with Him! I would wish this for everyone but it doesn't happen for everyone. I guess it's for people who really need it. I have suffered very much in life, but the Lord knew this and so He gave me these windows into Heaven when I was young so I would be strengthened for the journey. I'm very sorry that someone pushed you. It should not be like that! Don't lose heart. Human beings are very flawed, but God understands and can work around such things. Tongues is, of course, somewhat shocking at first, and one does not know what to make of it, but study Paul's teaching on it and pray about it. Not everyone speaks in tongues, so don't let people push it on you. There seem to be a good number of people complaining here that they didn't get the gift but somehow were encouraged to "fake it till you make it" or some such. Sometimes people get it later, at home, by themselves. Sometimes it comes slowly over time where it seems like nothing but then there is a breakthrough moment. But be content if it doesn't happen for you since love is the highest gift of all.

Again, it's like the "sodomite" guy that lived a hundred years ago - nothing to do with me or anyone else I know. The rest of what he says is just ridicule, so that's not an argument.
What language or tongue is "papayapapayapapayayayayayapapapapapayayayaya...." maybe that woman can tell or give a hint. Still a papaya is a tropical fruit that tastes really good and sweet when ripe. When green or green papaya it is cooked as with coconut milk or in soups and stew. Green papayas are popular for salads in Thailand. Taste really good when licked with the tongue.
I shared some of this information on the “Charismatic Renewal “ and someone told me that this information is “ stifling” the Holy Spirit and divisive. I know this isn’t the case but I believe it’s a common objection, and you may want to discuss Kennedy.
First of all, the Holy Spirit, third person of the Holy Trinity, cannot be stifled. And when anyone uses the word “divisive” I know they have no real argument.
@@MereTradition "To the charismatic, everything is against God if they don’t agree with it." Yet another lie. "They are gnostics who believe everything they think is divine" And another. Who writes this sort of stuff? Who upvotes it? In what sense do they think they are Catholic? Have they not read the commandment not to bear false witness?
A Maronite monk friend of mine who has studied Aramaic (their central liturgical language) said he went to one of such "charismatic" Masses where they were "speaking in tounges." He ran out the door, because one of them was yelling blasphemies in Aramaic. 2nd hand information, but believable. Inspiration means having a spirit inside, not necessarily the Holy Spirit. Here are some powerful Catholic prayers vs demons if anyone needs some spiritual house-cleaning: ruclips.net/video/-44MDFOs78I/видео.html
30:52 Quoting Augustine, "You can have...(if you're a heretic)...but you cannot have salvation"....George Foreman....this is the heresy of modernism... This was a hodgepodge of incomplete thoughts. If anyone knows what the 'argument' was, let me know.
Since glossolalia seems to occur in various cultures/religions around the world, the simplest theory is that this is a phenomenon of purely human origin.
@@DavidRodriguez-er4rq True, too. I think that is something that Fr. Ripperber (not sure of spelling) has mentioned in videos. He has a good video on charismatics.
I’ll share an experience. I wanted to get the gift of tongues and I have always been a skeptic on things not defined by the Church. I was praying before the blessed sacrament for a few hours after mass adoration and benediction. Nothing happened of course and was feeling very emotional. When i got in my car I was trembling with emotion, no one was around. I was trembling in my tongue and my jaw and a bunch of random syllables and sounds came out beyond my control. I don’t think it was a real language natural nor supernatural. I have no explanation
Don’t deny a gift. A gift is something given but like a child sometimes we really desire a gift like a child a specific toy. This is earnestly desiring it. When people did it in the book of acts it wasn’t so much an earnest desire as a flowing through them. That’s where you were
This is why one should never seek miracles. The devil can answer. For what purpose did you seek the gift of tongues? Why not gifts of faith, hope, charity, perseverance, sorrow for sin, piety, or any number of gifts that can help you get to Heaven? By asking for a gift as a sign, you ooen yourself up to the diabolic.
Ralph was targeted by Kennedy in one of the earlier hit pieces. A 1.5 second clip was shown of Ralph saying something like, "One of the central things Jesus does is baptize us in the Spirit," and this was used by Kennedy (and I think some other person narrating) to "prove" that Ralph was a heretic. The supposed heresy, I think, is that Ralph thinks Jesus was without the Spirit until John's baptism. They were trying to say that Ralph, and the rest of us, don't think Jesus was God! I don't think Ralph is into defending himself from such spurious charges. He probably has better things to do and has probably heard it all before.
@@rosezingleman5007 What makes you say Ralph has "backed away"? And what would that mean? What do you think of Kennedy posting a 1.5 second clip of Ralph in the very first video in this series and implying that Ralph was teaching/believing a heresy - that Jesus did not have the Holy Spirit until the baptism of John. Do you remember when Kennedy said that Charismatics hold this as a doctrine and that it means that Jesus isn't God? Do you know what slander is, what libel is? Should Christians avoid those? They are sins, right? And Catholic teaching on sin is that it separates you from God and requires repentance and confession/penance, possibly satisfaction, etc. Is the commandment not to bear false witness against ones neighbor still in effect? What do you think the Lord means in the book of Revelation when it says there that "all liars will be thrown into the lake of fire"? I think it means that lying is evil and that if anyone does not repent of a mortal sin of lying that they have committed, then when they die they will go to Hell (the lake of fire) for eternity. Is that correct? As Christians, we should strive to tell the truth and avoid lies, right? If someone is shown that they have spoken/published something untrue about another person, they should be quite eager to rectify the situation, right? I tried to correct Kennedy on that. Was that wrong? Do you know if he has retracted what he said/implied about Ralph there? How would we find out if we cared about Kennedy's salvation and Ralph's reputation? You tell me what we should say and do about this and other issues with these videos, okay? Thanks.
Wow! Talk about Infiltration! How could Roman pontiff endorse such herecy and not be heretics? I knew something was off but couldn't express why. So blessed to have this information yet so so sad that at least 3 pontiffs in recent history have endorsed this.😢🙏🙏🙏
11:30 Outside the realm of debate or discussion if you are a Catholic. Yet it was originally debate and discussion that formed the Catholic Church. The irony is eternal.
How can we expect for Jesus to always be with us if we have one foot in and the other out he calls for us to pick up our cross and carry it daily and to strive to enter the kingdom of heaven we must examine our self and see if we are striving to follow his commandments 1 John 2 15-19
Funny a Hindu family came into our charismatic prayer meeting on Sunday night after a non Latin mass. He said he was inspired to come. He heard the gospel preached. Heard a priest preach on the fruits of the spirit was. He was invited to stay for coffee and cake. He said to me thank you for warmth and hospitality. Would he and his family get the same welcome at a traditional Latin mass. Probably not.
Did you have a bad experience at a traditional latin Mass to make you think that family would not be welcome? People are no different; some are kind and some are not. The unkind ones are not practicing what their faith teaches. May God please to bless us all to come to Him
Hi Anne I have never been to Latin mass. Never will. In my life I have only attended normal mass in English. I believe the Latin mass to be holy and beautiful worship of our God. What I do not like is the attitude of Catholics who think they are better than all other Christians because they attend Latin mass. That why Pope Francis is slowing it down as it causes disunity amongst all Christians. Not the mass itself but the attitude of people involved in it.
And I receive holy communion in my hands. That's the only way I have ever received our Lord. That's the way I was taught. So according to traditional Catholics evey communion I have ever has in my life is sacrilegious. Never been to an altar rail. But I love Jesus Christ of Nazareth and would give my life for him.
@@mattstenning5664 Why do you think that? No one I have ever met personally thinks they are better than other Catholics because they attend the traditional Mass. Every group has good and bad. We should, however, strive to bring all other Christians to the fullness of the Faith and join us. I went to a novus ordo Mass and was yelled at by a woman because I was kneeling during the Consecration. I don't think all people who attend the novus ordo are mean and condescending like her. It breaks my heart when Pope Francis calls me and those like me names in public on the world stage. He makes it clear he doesn't want me. I pray that God will please to cure his Church soon.
25:19 - These "answers to objections" are great! "Demons perform miracles, in the sense like they seem like miracles to us" And then he goes on to slip in one of his oft-repeated lies before continuing his thought. He says that the CCR is 'heretical' because "it's a Protestant movement." But it's not a Protestant movement, that's why it's called the CATHOLIC Charismatic Renewal. They don't teach Protestantism, so what's the 'heresy'? They tell people to submit to the Church and be Catholic, read the CCC, go to mass, be formed in the Faith, etc. That's NOT Protestantism. Sorry. So then he gives an amazing example of diabolical influence! Your little group prays for a van, and then you leave the meeting and someone says, "The Lord told me you need a van," and it seems that God has done something, but it's really Satan! Satan got you the van because, you know, since God doesn't do anything at all, he gets to run around this world doing favors for Christians in the hopes that they'll thank God when it was really a satanic 'miracle'! Brilliant 'diabolical' strategy, is it not! Kennedy wins at reason, logic, and faith! It's a triple play, folks!!! If you do not sign up and get past his paywall, you're going to regret it. Nowhere else can you gain such insights!
First, there are not two different types of tongue. There is only one. Second, all tongues are spoken to God but in human languages. It is not the language that is not understood, but the meaning.@@servantaustin
The Charismatic Movement never built great cathedrals nor great cities like Paris nor great kingdoms like those of Spain. Those of the Charismatic Movement are likely largely Democrats and ideologically grounded in 1 thing: to destroy. In this case to destroy over 1,000 years of Catholic Traditions that built saints, built metaphorical NFL players. And I suspect a disproportionate number of them are aligned in political policies to destroy Black-America in Chicago and elsewhere. Supposedly, a unity of blacks in soup kitchen workers, Protestant pastors, an excon gang members are increasingly unified in 1 verbally expressed thoughts about the unity of Government and Venezuelan gangs flooded into Chicago against them: "We are going to war." "We are armed to the teeth." Recent interview: video title: *"THIS is where War in America will start... right here!" Redacted with C...*
Don’t we adhere to what the church teaches and approves or only sometimes and then we pull out saints and drs of the church? And what about Elena Guerra, she had not pull on pope Leo than any Protestant.
22:09 - "Feeling electric currents and heat" This is evil? A sign of possession? Based on what? As always, no argument is given. My friend has a healing ministry and this happens to him all the time. It has happened to me too, although not as much, when I have prayed over people for healing. Other times there are no manifestations, but the person you pray over has the manifestation. I prayed over a nice black woman that my mom brought to the house in the early 80s. She had terrible arthritis pain. I took her hand and prayed silently. She said, "Woah, what's that? What's happening? Oh!" Her pain went away and she was quite astonished. In college my friend prayed over another friend who had broken and finger but needed to play guitar for mass. He was a good guitarist and led the music at many masses. He felt the power of God in his hand almost immediately and then started moving the finger. He played the guitar for the mass he was concerned about. I think it was the next day. We were all elated and told everyone about it. I believe the x-rays showed the healing later on. The stories of healing and manifestations of heat and "electricity" while praying with people are of course astronomical. Why is this evil? Why does Kennedy ascribe every healing we've seen to Satan and none to Christ? This is the Twilight Zone of 'Catholic' RUclips. Up is down and down is up.
He also said that these “signs, symptoms” aren’t always from God too. Just because something “good” happens doesn’t mean the source of it can be assumed to automatically be “good” either. The demonic spirits are VERY good at deception. The good-cop bad-cop is one of their favs. And biblically…Satan can appear as an angel of light.
There are countless testimonials of ex-witches, ex-pagans, ex-satanists who tell their experiences of having “good” things happening all the time. It’s how they get lured in. If Satan showed his dark side in the beginning, people would avoid him. It’s basic bait-n-switch. Lure people in with happy feels, “healings,” “angels,” etc. Once the person opens the door, it’s too late. Most are sucked in. And those that see what’s happening have a hard time closing that door.
The electricity is occult energy. Wiccans and pagan healers routinely use energy in their work. There is energy, for example in Kundalini Yoga which is described by manifested serpent energy within the body.
@@anitamcginnis8028 "The electricity is occult energy." Again, how do you know? No argument given. Just more smears. "Wiccans and pagan healers routinely use energy in their work." Christians don't use "energy," but call on Christ to heal! No Christian would ever say, "serpent energy within the body."
The Charismatic Renewal has been around for about 60 years. Is it truly from God? You have to be very careful when judging this matter. If it is truly from God, you cannot wipe it out. Instead, it will prosper and bear fruits. If not, it will disappear in time. Let’s pray to the Holy Spirit for wisdom and humility in this matter.
Jesus please give me strength I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’ve been a single mom I hear you. Now I’m married and have ten kids with two special needs as well. I don’t know if I can help you we just had severe weather and lots of damage. My prayers are for you.
At 17 minutes he's saying "start your own religion," etc., if you disagree with anything he has said in his mind-numbing romps of irrationality and false accusation. Um, no Catholic charismatic seems to be doing that, so who is he addressing other than figments of his imagination? If someone believes they are talking to someone who isn't there, isn't that a sign of insanity? Let's go to the Summa and see what St. Thomas had to say about it. I haven't started my own religion, but what about Kennedy? Which 'church' is he in? I don't know so I won't guess, just asking. As for doctrine, he definitely has his own. He shared with us his entirely new doctrine the other day which falsely claims that the Council of Trent forbids Catholics even from SAYING the Lord healed me or the Lord did this for me. He says it's the rules for being Catholic, but I've never even heard of such a rule let alone seen one. I wonder what his pastor or bishop - if he has them - would say about this doctrine. If his local ordinary does not even recognize such a doctrine, how is it that Kennedy Hall is even Catholic? Remember, he just said that if you're not in the Church then you cannot get the Holy Spirit, so one what basis is his teaching his own opinions as "Church teaching for 2000 years"???
29:35 - "So, no, no one receives the gift of tongues with shuhpuhpuhpuhpuh. It's not real. And Augustine was very clear that it ceased with the apostolic age. Now, there have been some claims...of the saints.. okay, fine, super-saints on the illuminative path, that live as, you know, exemplars of religious life..." Again, there's no argument here. He started off with a MS Word document reading off various commentaries on Pentecost from the Fathers, but they add nothing to the discussion since they just confirm what the Scripture says and what everybody already knew - the Apostles and disciples spoke and were heard in various languages of the people present that day. Kennedy then contradicts himself - again - in saying first that this gift ceased with the apostolic age but then immediately afterwards saying that it didn't since it is reported that some saints have spoken in tongues and/or have spoken and were understood by people whose language they did not speak. After the flat out contradiction - and he didn't tell us if Augustine was wrong, or the saints were faking it and perhaps their supporters lying about it - he then adds conditions for this type of gift to be given. You have to be a "super saint," in the religious life, etc. What's his source for that? In any case, he is again refuted by Scripture in the case of Cornelius (Acts 10) and his household. Was Cornelius a "super saint" in the religious life? No. And no mention is made of foreigners who would hear these messages in tongues. It was friends and family gathered, and Peter was the one preaching. So we can see that he simply bypasses the question at issue while pretending to address it.
I understand your point and history. Maybe this movement could be changed to give GOD glory. Do not complain, brothers and sisters, about one another, that you may not be judged. Behold, the Judge is standing before the gates. Take as an example of hardship and patience, brothers and sisters, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Using the Name of Jesus 38 John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he wasn’t in our group.” 39 “Don’t stop him!” Jesus said. “No one who performs a miracle in my name will soon be able to speak evil of me. 40 Anyone who is not against us is for us. 41 If anyone gives you even a cup of water because you belong to the Messiah, I tell you the truth, that person will surely be rewarded.
22:17 - "Charismatics will always talk about the gift of tears." Not really, though yes it is a thing. It happens. It happened to saints, didn't it? But it's still evil, Kennedy? Remember the woman who washed the feet of Jesus with her tears? If that was evil, how come the Bible doesn't say so?
I agree with you Kennedy, but my problem is that we never hear of experiences of genuine gifts among Catholics, especially trads. Am I the only one who thinks that there's something wrong with that? Are the gifts supposed to be that rare? And if there's a problem could it be the reason for the VII chastisement? 🤷🏾♂️
The gifts given to the Apostles were gratuitous; they had a purpose to convert all nations. The miracle/s we have by Boylan is a great book. Miracles happen all the time. Every morning we open our eyes and take a breath is a miracle.
@@mrs.trains1233 No. The idea that opening our eyes and breathing every morning is a miracle is Masonic naturalism as propagated in VII. It's a subtle way of denying the extraordinary. Miracles, by definition are extraordinary, else they'd not be miracles. And I have seen quite a few miracles.
This is off topic, but can you do a video on the SSPX third order? I’ve read all of the SSPX articles online about it but there aren’t any videos online talking about it and I’m pretty sure you said a while ago that you were a third order
I did a 3 hour show where I read chapter and verse on the subject. It’s called something like Can non Catholics be saved. Would be worth checking out. But basically, it has to be more than ‘implicit’ in the ambiguous sense. But baptism of desire is consistent teaching
E Michael Jones. Giorgio Bongiovanni also got Marian apparitions in Fatima but he is fake like many others. Do you deep dive research. Devils dung to fill the coffers.
Up to minute 14...Now he gets very agitated (demons?) and angry (demons!) if anyone should disagree with him that the saints in question condemned the CCR. He goes back to the SSPX website and its trashy article trying to mine quotes he can use against the idea of God pouring His Spirit into someone's longing heart and/or whether God can heal and deliver people from sickness and oppression and/or whether God can give charismatic gifts to His people a la the New Testament. The answer is a firm NO on all counts! In no way may God do such things or may God's people pray for such things or receive such things. DAS IST VERBOTEN!!! You're not 'Catholic' if you see people blessed, healed, delivered, filled with joy, repenting of sin, going to mass, reading the saints and the catechism, etc., and you don't at the same time issue your own personal condemnation saying that these things are OBVIOUSLY caused by the devil! I wonder what his 'Jesus' does while the devil is out working overtime to save souls. He doesn't tell us. His 'Jesus' never gets out much, I guess. Lives in an old box somewhere and plays chess with the 'Father' who can't be bothered to "give good gifts to His children." And Kennedy's 'real' Spirit? That 'Spirit', I guess, has nothing to do or say either since the 'devil' does all His work on earth. Question for the resident genius theologian of RUclips: If someone gets a healing at a charismatic healing mass or prayer meeting or conference, and then later in life gets a healing from the intercession of the Blessed Mother through a novena (which also happened to me), do they get two demons for the price of one to infest their souls forever? As I understand your 'Catholic', er, um, ugh, 'theology', wouldn't the devil also be able to imitate the BVM and thus give fake demonic 'healings' to those who only think they are praying to her but actually are praying to the hordes of Hell? So do you have any upcoming teachings on how to avoid the hellscape of the rosary, novenas, etc? Maybe you could consult your favorite non-Catholic scholar on this topic. I'm sure he'd have a lot to say on the topic of praying to 'Mary' for 'healing'. Perhaps he's writing a book on it this very minute.

The Kennedy Report sounds like the New Testament Pharisees.......Lord, deliver us. I would quote Scripture: Beginning in Joel 2:28, the prophet transitions to a description of events in the distant future (from his vantage point). Verse 28 says, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.” Has this guy read the CCC, or the writings of the last 5 popes on the Charismatic renewal? I doubt it. Therein, he is a heretic. You are very misinformed. Are you jealous that God loves other people besides those who agree with you. You are a division in the church and all you say is not based on the magisterium, the popes and what countless bishops have said. You seem to think you know more than St. Paul, who said, "I would that ALL of you pray in tongues." You set yourself up as knowing more about the Church, the Holy Spirit and God's ways than God Himself does. Repent! I pray you are all baptized in the Holy Spirit! God bless your poor souls.
Respectfully may I say .... please have a Pentecostal professor/theologian from the Assembly of God headquarters in Springfield MO to give an educated and succinct explanation for the PENTECOSTAL MOVEMENT. AOG had a very reputable seminary....so does Lee University Cleveland TN...Church of God . They have produced many theological position papers on the validity of the Pentecostal movement. The AOG was involved in Pentecostal studies with the RCC for years.
Did you see the first few videos in this series? Kennedy started off by demonizing Catholics and linking them to Protestantism in general and Charles Parham in particular, and whatever sins, flaws, and bad doctrines he had. Parham is supposedly the 'founder' of the gifts of the Spirit, not God. How can you reason with people like this? Kennedy is out for blood, and guilt by association is one of his weapons. He would take any AOG papers as proof of Catholics falling into apostasy regardless of what they said or how sound they were on these topics. As someone who is unable or unwilling to make simple distinctions, he paints all with the same brush. He operates out of a kind of superstition that you are tainted by any incidental contact with Protestants. The mindset is very much like rabid anti-Catholics who think everything the Church believes and does is "pagan" because Rome was pagan and the Church is Roman. That's the lay of the land unfortunately.
I am not Catholic. I don’t align myself particularly with a denomination. I read my Bible, I love Jesus. Christ is my saviour. I love my fellow man. Does not the Holy Spirit dwell in me? I don’t agree with any man or any institution. There are truth and lies everywhere. God is judge. Please, consider my question. If someone is not in the Catholic Church, but loves Christ and devoted themselves to Him, you are saying they cannot have the Holy Spirit? I’m effect is this not saying that they are saved by the church and not Christ alone? Did Christ know more than Augustine?
Do you have a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary? She is the spouse of the Holy Spirit. Do you think the Holy Spirit would dwell in someone who has no love for His spouse?
You could be saved if you didn't commit any mortal sin, were baptized, and led a holy life, without knowing sincerely the Catholic Church is the only way of salvation. But it would be a much harder way for you, since you wouldn't count on the spiritual help the Sacraments provide for you to persevere. And still, in the end the Catholic Church would have a lot to do with your salvation if you exceptionally achieve it, since you would have been a Catholic in spirit during your life.
Christ instituted His Church precisely for the salvation of souls, and in that way showed how He wants things to be done. He said to His Apostles: He who hears you, hears me. And He said to Peter: Whatsoever you shall bind upon earth shall be bound also in heaven.
Hmmmm it’s not all papaja papaja mass hysteria and show. It was given to me as a weapon in spiritual warfare, the time when the dragon 🐉 was hunting me down badly. This ANTIi PENTECOSTAL/CHARISMATIC video is very inaccurate. The Charismatic Gifts of Holy Spirit were present during the prolific ministries of STS VINCENT FERRER, DOMINIC FRANCIS XAVIER....and amongst the Russian and Greek Orthodox churches! St. John Kronstadt, St Seraphim of Sarov....many others had the Pentecostal gifts.
It´s different though. Look at their lives. No emotionalism no nonsense, they had gifts but were not about them. They were about sacraments and proper firm faith. And yes they performed miracles. There is Holy spirit moving all the time making miracles in the church - but you cannot appropriate it. They had solid faith, about God, sacraments, renounciation + they were performing miracles. But no nosense like this. Charismatic movements behave as if they now brought back holy spirit to the church. It never left. There are miracle workers all the time. But normal. About Christ not about gifts and nonsense.

It is BIBLICAL its Gospel Truth . Your misleading people with such videos . May the Holy Spirit enlighten you . Ignorance is dangerous and demonic too.
When someone says “We communicate with God directly,” it reminds me of Protestants who say “Why do we need intercession of the saints or Mary when we can pray to God directly?”
Yes it is protestant. Catholic church took it from them. It shares the common trait: when faith in sacraments and real presence goes down these emotional outlets go up. Because people need to overcompensate. We eat real God. We actually truly eat HIm. With decreasing sacramental life you need to look for mysticism outside. Like protestants did. Catholic church adopted this for the exactly same reason. People stopped realising they are eating God and started to be hungry for some kind of other connection. For me it´s symptom of sickness of faith. Not improvement or revival. I know somewhat normal charismatics too. But they are not heavily engaged with the movement. The more they are the more protestant mentality they adopt. Bit like - the more you adopt belief in evolution, the more atheistic mindset you will get over time. Everything has consequences. So for me there is no surprise the most catholic catholics are the ones who are practicing the faith like most of the saints did. Sacramental life, life of prayer, no excesses, renounciation, latin mass, family life... If I go to charismatic crowd - I see mentality of protestantism mixed with mentality of new age. As a former new ager I can atest that charismatic mentality is the closest thing to the new age in catholic church. That= s the reason I am staying away. It has the exactly same pitfalls: I am good therefore everything which happens to me is from holy ghost. Usual is not enough for me therefore I am searching for something better more authentic. And extraordinary. Because I love God everything I relate to in my spirit is of God. There is extremely strong positive prejudice towards supernatural. And it leads people to very bad places often. There is no real disscernment in charismatic movement. To me it´s clearly sign of spiritual sickness. It happened to protestans after they tossed sacraments. It is happening to catholics after the faith in real presence went down the hill. It is not a good hunger. It´s bad hunger. Good hungar is satiated by sacramental life and sober strong faith. Charismatic practices are like sugar rush, when children keep screaming for ice cream and keep being hungry because it´s just a sugar it has no nutrition. And it just leads to spiritually very iffy places. But I know somewhat normal charismatics who do have sacramental life and don´t go overboard. But they are not overly active within the movement... + there will surely be saints in charismatic movement as well. Saints are everywhere.

I feel very divided on this. I was in the Charismatic renewal in the 80s and it had some benefits.

Simon obviously heard/saw something as they were believers, baptized, but had not yet received the Holy Ghost, and Simon wanted this.

1 Cor. 12:7-10: "And the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man unto profit. 8 To one indeed, by the Spirit, is given the word of wisdom: and to another, the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; 9 To another, faith in the same spirit; to another, the grace of healing in one Spirit; 10 To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, the discerning of spirits; to another, diverse kinds of tongues; to another, interpretation of speeches."
St. Paul told the Corinthinans he spoke in tongues more than all of them and that of a message in tongues is given one should desire to interpret. In 1 Cor. 14:1-32, he said if there be no one to interpret a message in tongues to not give the message in tongues. St. Paul also said he prayed and sang in the Spirit and in a church service would rather have 5 words of understanding then an uninterpreted message in tongues. In the end, as St. Paul said, not all speak in tongues but he did say he desired this for all believers.
Now baptistsand many others are cessationists and don't believe any of the utterance and sign gifts aren't for today when that isn't true, as many Catholic saints have operated in the Gift of Prophecy, Miracles, etc, etc.
In the end, were there chaotic elements in the church at Corinth that St. Paul addressed in 1 Cor 11 onwards? Certainly. But he didn't say shut it down and he said to not forbid others prophesying (1 Cor. 14:39).
Are there chaotic elements today among Catholic Charismatics? Undoubtedly, but don't shut it down, and it's ridiculous to think tens of millions of Catholic Charismstics are all speaking gibberish.

When I was an Evangelical, in the 90s there was a movement called the Toronto Blessing. The people were very sincere but it seemed like it was based on suggestion and emotionalism. People would drop to the floor and be “slain in the spirit” for hours! If anything, it seemed degrading to me
I saw it - it seemed as if they were possessed, howling, barking, having each other on leashes. God never ever disrespects us.

I guess he has the Holy Spirit enough to know Francis is a heretic, maybe the devil revealed that to him.
@@MillionthUsernameMy understanding is that Ralph has backed away from some of his Pentecostalist leanings.
"Demons perform miracles, in the sense like they seem like miracles to us"
And then he goes on to slip in one of his oft-repeated lies before continuing his thought.

22:09 - "Feeling electric currents and heat"
This is evil?
There is energy, for example in Kundalini Yoga which is described by manifested
serpent energy within the body.

He said that because the devil mimics God all the time. The truth is, how do you absolutely know that it came from God? Does God act on call?
The Charismatic Renewal has been around for about 60 years. Is it truly from God? You have to be very careful when judging this matter. If it is truly from God, you cannot wipe it out.
Now, there have been some claims...of the saints.. okay, fine, super-saints on the illuminative path, that live as, you know, exemplars of religious life..."
Again, there's no argument here.

It suddenly came to mind what if instead of "Papaya" they were actually calling "Pope Pious" for help
This is off topic, but can you do a video on the SSPX third order? I’ve read all of the SSPX articles online about it but there aren’t any videos online talking about it and I’m pretty sure you said a while ago that you were a third order
Tighten up your jibbs full speed ahead 🤣🤣🤣🤣😺😺😺
Mr Hall, what is your opinion on the idea of "implicit" baptism of desire?
I did a 3 hour show where I read chapter and verse on the subject. It’s called something like Can non Catholics be saved. Would be worth checking out.
But basically, it has to be more than ‘implicit’ in the ambiguous sense. But baptism of desire is consistent teaching
This same guy doesn’t believe in Medjugorje
Why did he put this out 2 days after the diamonds did the same topic? Ok, i watched the diamonds, now I'll try this to compare

Acts 2 was Luke reporting of a cultic practice?
No, and he's not reporting on charismatic practices either.
Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.
The beginning of the Church is clear seen in Acts... The deacons, priests and bishops. Men praying and fasting, then commissioned to go out on mission. They Holy Spirit and His Gifts were upon them and was within them. Christ doesn't lie. Chaos and confusion are from the evil one. Im open to being wrong!
In these times did Our Lord not say He will pour out His Gifts of the Holy Spirit? There are 12 i believe. Tongues being the least! So whats this witch hunt all about? Whats behind it? Yes, i am aware of thise faking tongue's but this seems a witchbhunt nevertheless. I am always open to bring wrong.
And, if this is truth, that I can only be saved through the Catholic Church why hasn’t one single Catholic shared their faith with me in 45 years?
You misunderstand what “saved through” means
How many refused when you asked them to share?
Then how is it charismatics are among the most faithful Catholics in the Church ,both in fever ,giving ,love ,obedience from what I see. I am not a Charismatic Catholic myself. But what I have seen I believe I'm convinced of that. If the root is dirty and rotten so will the fruit be in there lives.
When I was 19 I attended a big catholic charismatic renewal youth rally in a big football stadium. I accepted jesus as my saviour. I got prayed over by people who spoke in tongues. I felt the electricity go thru me big time. Since that day I gave up drugs. Started to go to mass every week started behaving myself. Now I'm 58 been married 30 years. Still go to mass every week. Pray rhw rosary. Do stations of the Cross. Trying my best to be a Christian. But according to you it's a work of the devil and I'm a heretic. Seriously mate. In your podcast you have insulted many good Christian people. People praying over me in tongues did more good for me than what Pope pius wrote somewhere. But I'm a heretic. Brother you need to be told to go find the closest amusement park you can. Go to the mirror maze and have a good hard look at yourself
You have no right to make judgement on the Charismatics. It is not a cult. I have been involved with a charismatic prayer group for over 25 years. And the Miracles I have witnessed is just extraordinary: healings of both mind and spirit. The Blessed Mother is intricately involved in our prayer group. We consist of over 20 people. We are all well balanced human beings. Moreover, there has never been any issues in our prayer group. To judge is wrong!
How about the community of the Lady of All Nations founded by Marie-Paule Giguere. Lots of good fruits and no evil actions.

That's the lay of the land unfortunately.
only modernist Catholics cooperate with protestant heretics
assembly of God, HERETIC! ANATHEMA!
With the language (ancient meso american) in prayer I commanded angels and crushed demons and archons and brought them under my feet and drove them back to the underworld, what can I say….

16:05 Christ was not a Catholic. He may be associating Peter and the Apostles here with the Catholic Church by saying Depart from me I never knew you.😊
Christ is Catholic. He is universal ... for all.
The greatest gift is Gods Love .
The next is Gift of tongues .
Its a Divine language We communicate with GOD ALMIGHTY DIRECTLY through the Holy Spirit .
It is a Divine language .
