As a Catholic who recently returned to the faith, I pray constantly for the gift of discernment so not to be led astray by false teachers. Every time the RUclips algorithm sent me videos of Fr. Rodrigue, I never opened them up.
My wife has become a follower of Father Rodrigues and is quite convinced that he’s the real deal regarding end times prophecy… I too got drawn into his stream of sermons but have become somewhat sceptical lately after listening to his latest preaching on having our refuges prepared for what is happening in our church … I had an inner feeling that he was not making a lot of sense regarding certain issues that he brought into his conversation about our Lord’s return…being careful not to judge Father too swiftly on this matter I too will pray for discernment from God to reveal His Truth to everyone ✝️🙏🏻❤️

If you use the Sacrament of Reconciliation and frequent holy Communion, and pray the rosary daily God will keep you in His care. When thoughts enter your mind that seem off, invoke fear, entice your desire to know the future, surrender them to God as they enter your heart and mind. Ask for Him to remove any that are a temptation toward sin and to fill you with His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us a peace that passes all understanding, even in suffering. So you ought to be filled with a tremendous peace and this is how you know you are resting in God's will in your particular situation, regardless of the circumstances, the messages, etc. We are told we have to test the spirits. The devil deceives many, even those who proclaim to receive messages from God. In the history of the Church mystics have gone through major scrutiny before approval for this very reason. Surrender all fear and anxiety to God and steep yourself in prayer. You will find the urge to watch these 'seers' dissipate the more you pray and spend time in worship.

Yes, we should unite, because only united we can fight evil. That's what the Church was all about, but, unfortunately, since the last Council we are more and more separated from each other and became weak. Especially priests, if they want to fight the modernism, they should join some fraternity and get some bishop whom they would be obedient to. Thank you for your insights on Fr. Michel Rodrigue. I recently watched an episode of Mother and Refuge of the End Times. They talked about how Fr. Michel Rodrigue was removed from their webside (Countdown to the Kingdom ) because his prophecies were controversial. Until listening to you Fr. Rodrigue seemed like a good kind-hearted Father. As a non-Catholic, thank you for giving me a more balanced perspective.
I haven't even watched this yet and already agree. Father Rodriguez claims sound more like something you would hear from a heretical psychic than someone who uses the prophesies that have been approved by the church.

I have listened to him before, along with other prophecies that are going around. I finally had to force myself to stop listening because I was just getting to stressed out and troubled in the heart. I am at the point to where I have put my complete trust in God and the path He may be leading me. I am a nobody in the grand scheme of things and have absolutely no control, or capability to change what is to come. Knowing that, I can't see why I would choose to live in constant fear. I am at peace now and will accept what is to come if that is what I am called to do. God Bless you all.

This was absolutely perfectly timed! I think a lot of issues stem from the lack of formation of Catholics who truly want to live their faith but have been left abandoned. Especially those caught in that period from 1960-1972. From my personal life I believe that we were orphaned and left to scramble on our own, trying to figure out Truth from lies. Our formation was abandoned and our little minds left to wander through the brambles of this world. We were also not taught how to read the Bible from a Catholic perspective , if at all, so there was no foundation. Now we are being bombarded by huge amounts of "incoming fire" (literally). The Diabolical Disorientation is real and gaining strength every day. Mater Dei, ora pro nobis!
Of all the desperate problems caused by the Medjugorje phenomenon, the proliferation of false mystics, seers, and prophets is one of the worst. It always makes me smile when promoters such as Queen of Peace Media and CTTK claim authenticity because of so called Bishop's approval, (as if that settles the argument); but who are the first to say "oh, well the Bishops are wrong", every time you remind them how often Medjugorje has been condemned. It is cult like behaviour ; a new church in a new church, and there is no greater example of the diabolic disorientation we warned about through the Fatima messages.

It left me with a very odd feeling. What really got me was his laughing at the most inappropriate moments. The more I've embraced Tradition, the more wary of private revelations I've become. Any that I read must have been approved by those more competent and sober than myself, and even then I don't trust too much in my own understanding of them. Any private revelation relating to the end times ought to leave one a sense of confidence in God's providence rather than getting lost in the details and isolated from family, society, and, ultimately, God.
Currently, this priest is being promoted all over the place. Anyone who asks any questions or brings up facts regarding the questionable background pretty much condemn those who bring up situations in his past re: disobedience to his bishop, being wrong on predictions and disturbing facts in his youth. Who proclaimed any of these people mystics other than themselves? They claim to be approved, but by whom? Fr. talks about his stories and visions but not Scripture. Too many false prophets today. It's best to stay the course with what the Church has already given.
I don't understand the argument you're making by claiming that prophecies and private revelations (wether approved or not) are not Catholic teaching. I mean, sure, you're not required to believe them in order to be a Catholic, but it's not wise to dismiss or despise prophecies either. When you have a solid thread of prophecies from many places (and across centuries) speaking about, for example, the three days of darkness, then why should one ignore that? It's one thing to bring light to fake or questionable prophets and visionaries, another thing entirely is to put everything in the same bag with that argument. It's not an argument at all. Don't forget, for example, that the Rosary came from a private revelation to St. Dominic.

I was very critical of Rodrigue and believe he truly suffers from mental illness and needs professional help. Instead of helping him, these snakes are exploiting and using him for their pocketbooks. This guy's prophecies are always failing and his reply: "Well they come from God, not from me", and people are following him blindly, hanging on his every word. It shows how desperate people are to "chase signs and wonders" that they'll follow ANYONE claiming to receive messages or apparitions - even the "visionaries" who contradict the other "visionaries" they follow. It's pathetic! This guys has ZERO approval from his Bishop, nor from his previous Bishop. His light-hearted and charismatic nature draw people in. There have been times where I have been tempted to invent that I'm a seer just to see how many people blindly follow me without being prudent. Lord have mercy! Instead of reading all the "daily messages" emails you're subscribed to, read your Bible instead? And when I speak out against certain "visionaries" I get called "rigid" and "lacking faith". We are NOT all meant to be martyred which means REFUGES are needed for those of us that are meant to live through this to the ERA of PEACE. I challenge Kennedy to interview Xavier Ariel who is very close to Fr. Michel, and has personally talked to the bishop who said that he was not condemed !! He will also explain about the prophecy of pope Benedict not coming true. 3 or 4 days before pope Benedict died Fr. Michel told the people at his Mass that he just got a revelation during Mass that Benedict was not going to live to see 2023 because of all the prayers of people for him. Fr. James Blount (who is an exorcist and VERY close to Jesus and Mary) also knows Fr Michel and has pretty much endorsed him in an interview in 2022. If you guys don't accept Fr James Blount after watching his talks to people at Catholic churches around the world, then there's nothing more I can say because he definitely is the true deal !

The seers of magigory have been proven false numerous times they are not true ecstasies. This is the Fr who has led my mother astray in her old age (86). She was looking for his book but I told her I couldn’t find it. She was obsessed with end of times while listening to his stuff and for the first time in our lives we were afraid she would be led to hell by this guy. She was truly obsessed with him. She’s stopped listening to his stuff that I can tell and she’s back in church and not talking virulent stuff about the state of the church. Our mother was a daily mass goer until she started listening to him. Praise God she’s now more focused on scripture and mass instead of his predictions and misleading and false information.

Wasn’t Noah’s ark a place of refuge during Gods judgement. Prayer being answered when prophecy changes. Fr. Rodrigue never told anyone to sell their stuff and move to the woods. I've listened to all his video's. I became cautious. After listening to your contradiction and unacknowledgment of many great saints who prophesied the 3 days and the Warning, I'm more leary of you.

I felt the same way after just watching an occasional video of Fr. Rodrigue. Like you stated, I too, felt that something was "hinky". I don't watch or pay attention to him anymore. Thanks for your comment and Kennedy for this video. Now I know I'm not alone in my opinion about him. However, I do have to say that there are victim souls and seers living today who have suffered immensely to bring people back to Jesus and Mary. Among them are Julia Kim, Christina Gallagher of Ireland and a man named Josef (I'm sorry I can't remember his last name) who was imprisoned in Russia for teaching the Faith and speaking about the messages he has received. There is also a Priest in Africa who was receiving messages from Jesus regarding His Passion as a young boy. He started the Precious Blood Association and later became a Priest. Christina Gallagher was asked by Our Lady Queen of Peace to build a House of Prayer in Ireland mainly for Priests to come and learn of her experiences and improve their ministries. Christina has the gift of reading souls as Padre Pio did and also has the Stigmata. The Houses of Prayer have spread to the US and Mexico. Our Lady's main message is the message of Fátima. Pray the Rosary! Many of the prophecies that Christina has been given by Our Lady and Jesus Himself have already been fulfilled. In conclusion, we as Catholics are free to believe or not believe private revelations. Nothing Christina has done, said or written about contradicts Catholic teaching. And she freely states that Fàtima is THE apparition. Always test the spirits. But God is sending us help through His Chosen Ones. God bless. ❤
As for reluctance, Sr. Josefa Menéndez, author of The Way of Divine Love, threw her notebook into the dustbin at some point (I don't remember exactly why). Then she realized the mistake and tried to get it back, but it was gone! She was afraid that someone had found it, since her writings were a secret (only her superiors knew about her experiences). After the sister asked for the help of a superior and prayed about it, heaven returned the notebook to her.

Sister Faustina..Blessed Ann Marie Taigi...the apparitions of Garabandal in Spain and many more catholic saints have talked if the Warning...you don't know for a fact that people have sold their homes...and Fr. Rodrique is not condemned and is a priest in good standing.
This was an excellent critique and I appreciate these insights. What I can't help but notice is that Kennedy seems to be painting all private revelation with the same brush and jumping to judgemental conclusions about people who find value in them. Reading the Diary of St. Faustina is not the same thing as reading the Bible (and I've read both). The Diary is simple and does not need explanation. Scriptural interpretation is much more complex, especially with regard to certain books in the Bible. God has a purpose for authentic private revelation and it should not be belittled.

I've been worried about the misleading messaging from this priest for a couple of years. Actually, I honestly wasn't even really sure he was a priest, because of the crazy things he was saying or things that were said of him, before the video by someone else. My Mom was listening to him and I was a bit worried, because of all the things you just said and other weird and strange things! As someone who sits 'on the other side' as weird as that sounds, i do think alot of this is misunderstanding Conflation of 3 days of darkness and refuges: the 3 days of darkness is the last event that would occur that basically ends the great tribulation. The fact that the refuges are only relevant until the 3 days of darkness checks out logically The warning not being formal church teaching...is true but mary as mediatrix of grace isnt either. Infact the immaculate conception wouldnt have been either prior to 1854. Something may not be affirmed as catholic doctrine but that doesnt mean it isnt true. Many saints have talked about the warning, refuges too. Mary proclaimed a miracle would occur in fatima on oct 13th, 1917 and if you say 'its not church teaching' you would have missed the miracle. Furthermore the purpose of the refuges solves a rather large practical problem. Unless you concede to the idea of the rapture. The idea of the refuges provides an explanation for how the elect will survive the reign of the antichrist. I agree martyrdom is a good fate, however it is the will of god that certain persons, according to his will, shall survive the acapcolypse so as to repopulate the earth and enter into the glorious reign of the church. Given that the antichrist is to have supreme rule over all the earth the only way for christians to survive is via supernatural means, aka, the refuges. Father rodrigue provided a defence for as to why his prophecy on pope benedict didnt come true, i see you did not mention that. Which is intellectually dishonest of you. Perhaps you did not know that but its ironic given your attacks on christine walkins citations. Keep in mind jonahs prophecy didnt occur either and i guess he would have been considered a false prophet. The fact that fh rodrigue is responding differently than previous mystics in the history of the church is nit picking. God acts differently, uniquely and creatively in a multiplicity of ways throughout the history of the church. Joan of arc was quick to declare what god wanted for example. Regardless, its a non-sequitor. There yellow flags at best. The saints have been known to do some questionable things aswell. I do not pretend to understand these things but st mary alocoque carved into her breast the name of jesus. This was as the request of god. Yet the catechism would define this as self mutilation. Abraham also was the first to circumsize, same deal. Yet both are saints of the church and abraham is the father of faith. Honestly i think your being too critical, (which is ironic given your support of sspx). Now i say that because you DID mention some good points, if father rodrigue is not approved by his bishop and if certain facts are no demonstrably true, those are problems and are worthy of investigation. Basically you said some very note worthy things but you discredit yourself by clouding it in everything else. If father michel is not legit, then i want him removed too. But going on against catholic prophecy that is generally accepted amongst serious catholics just makes you look bad
I just prayed to Jesus and Mary about all the confusion that is happening within the Catholic Church. One doesn’t know what to believe or not to believe anymore.
I always read this stuff (non-approved mystics or writings) with great caution. It is really dangerous to see people defending or promoting this stuff like they are dogmas to be believed. Pray always for discernment.

Just scrolling through the comments; despite the facts laid out in this video there are followers of this guru who refuse Truth. "For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears." [2 Timothy 4:3]. St Paul, pray for us.
Have you ever watched Fr. Rodrigue? He is not a fearful person and exudes warmth and kindness and holiness. The Bible says not to despise prophecy; Fr. Rodrigue is a genuine mystic. Traditional Catholic practices are good, but we must retain tradition and still recognize that God has not abandoned us; there are seers and visionaries in every age. You should actively try to research genuine Catholic seers around the world; if you do, you will quickly find Fr. Rodrigue. ❤
This was an interesting podcast. I have never heard of this priest or his false prophecies. I would think his Bishop would offer some sort of punishment and not allow him to lead the faithful astray. Thank you Mr. Hall for covering this story.

Same here. Things he said were contrary to actual Scripture. God describes a false prophet in scripture. Anything that a false prophet predicts as coming from God and does not occur, is a false prophet. Satan is cunning and sly and intersperses truths with deceptions in order to lead the faithful astray. Scripture warns about this. Deuteronomy 18:21-22 21 You may say to yourself, “How can we recognize a word that the Lord has not spoken?” 22 If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it. God bless
My problem with the warning is simply this. A. It’s not scriptural. And in the history of divine revelation God has always warned mankind through his prophets, through scripture etc but never warned in a worldwide universal warning as many believe will happen. B. In the book of Revelation chapter 15 we are told For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. 15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”) 16 And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. So from reading Jesus and the apostles warnings it’s clear we are near the end….BUT no universal “warning” is to come beforehand otherwise this would contradict scripture and Christs own words. While I am not a follower of Fr. Michel, I have purchased books about the upcoming events. Particularly the Warning by Christine Watkins; Revelations by Xavier Aryal-Reyes and After the Warning to 2038 by Bruce Cyr. I read it for information but I don’t attach my undying faith to them. I do believe that the Blessed Mother came to Garabandal and told of the Warning.
I have watched this priest a while ago, and thought he was a false prophet. The first thing that I found strange about him was his smirk. He is a sensationalist, and people that want some sort of feeling, usually believe these type of people.
I got a copy of The Warning last year when I had returned to the Church after a lengthy lapse. I couldn't get thru it, I knew it was off and I was appalled at watching a video of Fr. Rodrigue. I had been in Evangelical churches during my lapse and while we can question their interpretations, that time did get me to read the whole Bible several times.
Kennedy Hall, hope you may get a chance to talk some common sense into our Catholic pod-caster friends who are going off the deep end featuring those two self-styled prophets. They are freaking out young & old folks with their end-time fear porn. The few of us who caution them re false visionaries are told we lack holiness. Sigh. Fr. John Hardon has some good talks (YT) on this topic, but I suppose he's not Catholic enough for them.
Yea "Prophecies from Heaven" had a "TERRIBLE EVENT on APRIL 4th". Naturally, April 4th came and went like a school bus. To this day they didn't answer my inquiry to explain their hilarious misfire.
Kennedy, I love and respect you but there are some errors in your reporting. He has never said to sell everything and move to the woods to build a structure to be your refuge. He simply says that your own home can be used by the Lord as a refuge. You consecrate it with holy salt and turn your home over to God for His use. We should all be doing this regardless of when the end times are. It really is no different than putting the blood of the sacrificial lamb on the door before the last plague. Also, there will be a surviving remanent during the end times. You think every single Catholic is going to be martyred? The refuge is for this remnant. Again, it is up to the Lord whether to use any refuges at all but to say all of us will be martyred is just not so.
Personally, I don't trust anyone who isn't telling people that 🇮🇱 communists are at war with the entire world particularly the Christian West way. They either don't know enough to be commenting or they are lying.
I stumbled upon Fr. Rodrigue a few years back…. At first he piqued my curiosity, but it didn’t take long to recognize that something was amiss ~ I noticed his apparent enjoyment of a semi-celebrity persona, but what really got me was when he claimed to have seen hell personally and then proceeded to laugh creepily about it for a hyper-extended moment … I thought to myself that anyone who may have glimpsed hell most certainly would not be laughing ~ then I came across other information about him that seemed very odd… statements about his childhood … saving his household from a fire at age three … just odd things that didn’t sit right ~ But my observations are mild in comparison to what’s being said here ~ sheesh ….
@@monicahocking1507 But no one is chasing after apparitions. We discern what is true by instinct and prayer and learning of the church’s official stance on them based on historical evidence. Of course there will be some dubious claims out there but that shouldn’t stop us believing in those that are true.

One of the telltale signs of a false prophet is that the message constantly directs your focus to the past or the future. Our focus should be living for God in the present moment. Trusting God in the present is the only method to have that peace beyond understanding because this is when God gives the necessary grace. Being focused on future events will cause you to lose your peace because the Grace is not usually sent to handle future events.
The impression I get from Fr M.R.’s supporters is that they want to avoid the martyrdom because they also believe in another private revelation which says that there will be a period where God’a will will reign supreme on Earth for a period of time before the end. This will purportedly be a time of great joy and blessings where the Earth is restored to how God meant it to be before the Fall happened. I think those who believe these folks want to survive long enough to experience this kingdom of heaven on Earth. Personally I lost some respect for the Countdown people when one gentleman levelled an ad hominem attack at an apologist who debunked both the “3 days” and Fr. Rodrigue by accusing “certain apologists” of believing more in Star Trek than in private revelations. This insult struck me as both silly - the apologist in question is certainly aware that Star Trek is fiction, although he is a fan - and uncharitable, because we are under no moral or other obligations to adhere to these private revelations and thus declining to lend them credence should carry no moral stigma.
Thanks for this, Fr Rodrigue felt off to me after watching him a couple of times. Sad thing is that he's also been on an interview with John Henry-Weston which may lead Catholics to believe he is authentic. One other priest who gives me the heebies and seems to be very popular at the moment is Fr Jim Blount - do you have any thoughts on him...?
God bless you in trying to do what you think is right but obviously you do not understand the role of a prophet and prophecy! Even as the blessed mother has appeared to various people on Earth she comes with messages and warnings and always says that they can be changed or mitigated through prayer, this is exactly what happens with other prophets, be the priests or exorcism priests as with Father. Predictions can change or be mitigated through prayer. The only thing that cannot be changed is scripture because scripture must be fulfilled. Jesus sends us prophets to warn us and tell us what may happen if we do not change. I hope this helps you to understand that you should not be condemning a Prophet sent by God

As a Catholic who recently returned to the faith, I pray constantly for the gift of discernment so not to be led astray by false teachers. Every time the RUclips algorithm sent me videos of Fr. Rodrigue, I never opened them up.

My wife has become a follower of Father Rodrigues and is quite convinced that he’s the real deal regarding end times prophecy… I too got drawn into his stream of sermons but have become somewhat sceptical lately after listening to his latest preaching on having our refuges prepared for what is happening in our church … I had an inner feeling that he was not making a lot of sense regarding certain issues that he brought into his conversation about our Lord’s return…being careful not to judge Father too swiftly on this matter I too will pray for discernment from God to reveal His Truth to everyone ✝️🙏🏻❤️

If you use the Sacrament of Reconciliation and frequent holy Communion, and pray the rosary daily God will keep you in His care. When thoughts enter your mind that seem off, invoke fear, entice your desire to know the future, surrender them to God as they enter your heart and mind. Ask for Him to remove any that are a temptation toward sin and to fill you with His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us a peace that passes all understanding, even in suffering. So you ought to be filled with a tremendous peace and this is how you know you are resting in God's will in your particular situation, regardless of the circumstances, the messages, etc. We are told we have to test the spirits. The devil deceives many, even those who proclaim to receive messages from God. In the history of the Church mystics have gone through major scrutiny before approval for this very reason. Surrender all fear and anxiety to God and steep yourself in prayer. You will find the urge to watch these 'seers' dissipate the more you pray and spend time in worship.

That's what the Church was all about, but, unfortunately, since the last Council we are more and more separated from each other and became weak. Especially priests, if they want to fight the modernism, they should join some fraternity and get some bishop whom they would be obedient to. Michel Rodrigue was removed from their webside (Countdown to the Kingdom ) because his prophecies were controversial. Until listening to you Fr. Rodrigue seemed like a good kind-hearted Father. As a non-Catholic, thank you for giving me a more balanced perspective.

I have listened to him before, along with other prophecies that are going around. I finally had to force myself to stop listening because I was just getting to stressed out and troubled in the heart. I am at the point to where I have put my complete trust in God and the path He may be leading me. I am a nobody in the grand scheme of things and have absolutely no control, or capability to change what is to come. Knowing that, I can't see why I would choose to live in constant fear. I am at peace now and will accept what is to come if that is what I am called to do. God Bless you all.

I think a lot of issues stem from the lack of formation of Catholics who truly want to live their faith but have been left abandoned. Especially those caught in that period from 1960-1972. From my personal life I believe that we were orphaned and left to scramble on our own, trying to figure out Truth from lies. Our formation was abandoned and our little minds left to wander through the brambles of this world.
We were also not taught how to read the Bible from a Catholic perspective , if at all, so there was no foundation.
Now we are being bombarded by huge amounts of "incoming fire" (literally). The Diabolical Disorientation is real and gaining strength every day.

It always makes me smile when promoters such as Queen of Peace Media and CTTK claim authenticity because of so called Bishop's approval, (as if that settles the argument); but who are the first to say "oh, well the Bishops are wrong", every time you remind them how often Medjugorje has been condemned.
It is cult like behaviour ; a new church in a new church, and there is no greater example of the diabolic disorientation we warned about through the Fatima messages.

It left me with a very odd feeling. What really got me was his laughing at the most inappropriate moments. The more I've embraced Tradition, the more wary of private revelations I've become. Any that I read must have been approved by those more competent and sober than myself, and even then I don't trust too much in my own understanding of them. Currently, this priest is being promoted all over the place. Anyone who asks any questions or brings up facts regarding the questionable background pretty much condemn those who bring up situations in his past re: disobedience to his bishop, being wrong on predictions and disturbing facts in his youth. Who proclaimed any of these people mystics other than themselves? They claim to be approved, but by whom? Fr. talks about his stories and visions but not Scripture. Too many false prophets today. It's best to stay the course with what the Church has already given.

I don't understand the argument you're making by claiming that prophecies and private revelations (wether approved or not) are not Catholic teaching. I mean, sure, you're not required to believe them in order to be a Catholic, but it's not wise to dismiss or despise prophecies either. When you have a solid thread of prophecies from many places (and across centuries) speaking about, for example, the three days of darkness, then why should one ignore that? It's one thing to bring light to fake or questionable prophets and visionaries, another thing entirely is to put everything in the same bag with that argument. It's not an argument at all.
Don't forget, for example, that the Rosary came from a private revelation to St. Dominic.

God describes a false prophet in scripture. Anything that a false prophet predicts as coming from God and does not occur, is a false prophet. Satan is cunning and sly and intersperses truths with deceptions in order to lead the faithful astray. Scripture warns about this.

This is the Fr who has led my mother astray in her old age (86). She was looking for his book but I told her I couldn’t find it. She was obsessed with end of times while listening to his stuff and for the first time in our lives we were afraid she would be led to hell by this guy. She was truly obsessed with him.
She’s stopped listening to his stuff that I can tell and she’s back in church and not talking virulent stuff about the state of the church. Our mother was a daily mass goer until she started listening to him. Praise God she’s now more focused on scripture and mass instead of his predictions and misleading and false information.

I felt the same way after just watching an occasional video of Fr. Rodrigue. Like you stated, I too, felt that something was "hinky". I don't watch or pay attention to him anymore. Thanks for your comment and Kennedy for this video. Now I know I'm not alone in my opinion about him.
However, I do have to say that there are victim souls and seers living today who have suffered immensely to bring people back to Jesus and Mary. Among them are Julia Kim, Christina Gallagher of Ireland and a man named Josef (I'm sorry I can't remember his last name) who was imprisoned in Russia for teaching the Faith and speaking about the messages he has received. There is also a Priest in Africa who was receiving messages from Jesus regarding His Passion as a young boy. He started the Precious Blood Association and later became a Priest. Christina Gallagher was asked by Our Lady Queen of Peace to build a House of Prayer in Ireland mainly for Priests to come and learn of her experiences and improve their ministries. Christina has the gift of reading souls as Padre Pio did and also has the Stigmata. The Houses of Prayer have spread to the US and Mexico. Our Lady's main message is the message of Fátima. Pray the Rosary! Many of the prophecies that Christina has been given by Our Lady and Jesus Himself have already been fulfilled.
In conclusion, we as Catholics are free to believe or not believe private revelations. Nothing Christina has done, said or written about contradicts Catholic teaching. And she freely states that Fàtima is THE apparition. Always test the spirits. But God is sending us help through His Chosen Ones. God bless. ❤

As for reluctance, Sr. Josefa Menéndez, author of The Way of Divine Love, threw her notebook into the dustbin at some point (I don't remember exactly why). Then she realized the mistake and tried to get it back, but it was gone! She was afraid that someone had found it, since her writings were a secret (only her superiors knew about her experiences). After the sister asked for the help of a superior and prayed about it, heaven returned the notebook to her.

Sister Faustina..Blessed Ann Marie Taigi...the apparitions of Garabandal in Spain and many more catholic saints have talked if the Warning...you don't know for a fact that people have sold their homes...and Fr. Rodrique is not condemned and is a priest in good standing.
This was an excellent critique and I appreciate these insights. What I can't help but notice is that Kennedy seems to be painting all private revelation with the same brush and jumping to judgemental conclusions about people who find value in them. Reading the Diary of St. Faustina is not the same thing as reading the Bible (and I've read both). The Diary is simple and does not need explanation. Scriptural interpretation is much more complex, especially with regard to certain books in the Bible. God has a purpose for authentic private revelation and it should not be belittled.

I've been worried about the misleading messaging from this priest for a couple of years. Actually, I honestly wasn't even really sure he was a priest, because of the crazy things he was saying or things that were said of him, before the video by someone else. My Mom was listening to him and I was a bit worried, because of all the things you just said and other weird and strange things!

Conflation of 3 days of darkness and refuges: the 3 days of darkness is the last event that would occur that basically ends the great tribulation. The fact that the refuges are only relevant until the 3 days of darkness checks out logically
The warning not being formal church teaching...is true but mary as mediatrix of grace isnt either. Infact the immaculate conception wouldnt have been either prior to 1854. Something may not be affirmed as catholic doctrine but that doesnt mean it isnt true. Many saints have talked about the warning, refuges too. Mary proclaimed a miracle would occur in fatima on oct 13th, 1917 and if you say 'its not church teaching' you would have missed the miracle.
Furthermore the purpose of the refuges solves a rather large practical problem. Unless you concede to the idea of the rapture. The idea of the refuges provides an explanation for how the elect will survive the reign of the antichrist.
I agree martyrdom is a good fate, however it is the will of god that certain persons, according to his will, shall survive the acapcolypse so as to repopulate the earth and enter into the glorious reign of the church. Given that the antichrist is to have supreme rule over all the earth the only way for christians to survive is via supernatural means, aka, the refuges.
Father rodrigue provided a defence for as to why his prophecy on pope benedict didnt come true, i see you did not mention that. Which is intellectually dishonest of you. Perhaps you did not know that but its ironic given your attacks on christine walkins citations.
Keep in mind jonahs prophecy didnt occur either and i guess he would have been considered a false prophet.
The fact that fh rodrigue is responding differently than previous mystics in the history of the church is nit picking. God acts differently, uniquely and creatively in a multiplicity of ways throughout the history of the church. Joan of arc was quick to declare what god wanted for example. Regardless, its a non-sequitor. There yellow flags at best.
The saints have been known to do some questionable things aswell. I do not pretend to understand these things but st mary alocoque carved into her breast the name of jesus. This was as the request of god. Yet the catechism would define this as self mutilation. Abraham also was the first to circumsize, same deal. Yet both are saints of the church and abraham is the father of faith.

Now i say that because you DID mention some good points, if father rodrigue is not approved by his bishop and if certain facts are no demonstrably true, those are problems and are worthy of investigation. Basically you said some very note worthy things but you discredit yourself by clouding it in everything else. If father michel is not legit, then i want him removed too. But going on against catholic prophecy that is generally accepted amongst serious catholics just makes you look bad

I always read this stuff (non-approved mystics or writings) with great caution. It is really dangerous to see people defending or promoting this stuff like they are dogmas to be believed. Pray always for discernment.

Thank you for shining a light on this. The private revelation industry is a grave problem. Just scrolling through the comments; despite the facts laid out in this video there are followers of this guru who refuse Truth. "For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears." [2 Timothy 4:3]. St Paul, pray for us.
My advice to all is this: listen to no one who promotes fear. Our God does not bring fear but freedom to captors: that they are prisoners no more!
Have you ever watched Fr. Rodrigue? He is not a fearful person and exudes warmth and kindness and holiness. The Bible says not to despise prophecy; Fr. Rodrigue is a genuine mystic. Traditional Catholic practices are good, but we must retain tradition and still recognize that God has not abandoned us; there are seers and visionaries in every age. You should actively try to research genuine Catholic seers around the world; if you do, you will quickly find Fr. Rodrigue. ❤

God describes a false prophet in scripture. Anything that a false prophet predicts as coming from God and does not occur, is a false prophet. Satan is cunning and sly and intersperses truths with deceptions in order to lead the faithful astray. Scripture warns about this.
Deuteronomy 18:21-22
21 You may say to yourself, “How can we recognize a word that the Lord has not spoken?”
22 If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it.

My problem with the warning is simply this. A. It’s not scriptural. And in the history of divine revelation God has always warned mankind through his prophets, through scripture etc but never warned in a worldwide universal warning as many believe will happen.
B. In the book of Revelation chapter 15 we are told
For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. 15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Therefore Jesus gives us warnings through his prophecy & biblical prophecy what to look out for coming up to the time of the end ie (first great famines & earthquakes… keep in mind the greatest famines and earthquakes in recorded history happened in the 20th century! Then Nation will rise against nation… this was fulfilled with WW1 & WW2… Then will come a great ‘falling away’ this has occurred as a result of Vatican II … then a great apostasy, the false prophet who will lead many into error… Bergoglio?
So from reading Jesus and the apostles warnings it’s clear we are near the end….BUT no universal “warning” is to come beforehand otherwise this would contradict scripture and Christs own words.

While I am not a follower of Fr. Michel, I have purchased books about the upcoming events. Particularly the Warning by Christine Watkins; Revelations by Xavier Aryal-Reyes and After the Warning to 2038 by Bruce Cyr. I read it for information but I don’t attach my undying faith to them. I do believe that the Blessed Mother came to Garabandal and told of the Warning.

I have watched this priest a while ago, and thought he was a false prophet. The first thing that I found strange about him was his smirk. He is a sensationalist, and people that want some sort of feeling, usually believe these type of people.

I got a copy of The Warning last year when I had returned to the Church after a lengthy lapse. I couldn't get thru it, I knew it was off and I was appalled at watching a video of Fr. Rodrigue. I had been in Evangelical churches during my lapse and while we can question their interpretations, that time did get me to read the whole Bible several times.

They are freaking out young & old folks with their end-time fear porn. The few of us who caution them re false visionaries are told we lack holiness. Sigh. Fr. Kennedy, I love and respect you but there are some errors in your reporting. He has never said to sell everything and move to the woods to build a structure to be your refuge. He simply says that your own home can be used by the Lord as a refuge. You consecrate it with holy salt and turn your home over to God for His use. We should all be doing this regardless of when the end times are. It really is no different than putting the blood of the sacrificial lamb on the door before the last plague. Also, there will be a surviving remanent during the end times. You think every single Catholic is going to be martyred? The refuge is for this remnant. Again, it is up to the Lord whether to use any refuges at all but to say all of us will be martyred is just not so.

I stumbled upon Fr. Rodrigue a few years back…. At first he piqued my curiosity, but it didn’t take long to recognize that something was amiss ~ I noticed his apparent enjoyment of a semi-celebrity persona, but what really got me was when he claimed to have seen hell personally and then proceeded to laugh creepily about it for a hyper-extended moment … I thought to myself that anyone who may have glimpsed hell most certainly would not be laughing ~ then I came across other information about him that seemed very odd… statements about his childhood … saving his household from a fire at age three … just odd things that didn’t sit right ~
But my observations are mild in comparison to what’s being said here ~ sheesh ….

Of course there will be some dubious claims out there but that shouldn’t stop us believing in those that are true.

One of the telltale signs of a false prophet is that the message constantly directs your focus to the past or the future. Our focus should be living for God in the present moment. Trusting God in the present is the only method to have that peace beyond understanding because this is when God gives the necessary grace. Being focused on future events will cause you to lose your peace because the Grace is not usually sent to handle future events.
From his videos, Fr. Rodrigue gives off weird, creepy, self-important and irreverent vibes.
The impression I get from Fr M.R.’s supporters is that they want to avoid the martyrdom because they also believe in another private revelation which says that there will be a period where God’a will will reign supreme on Earth for a period of time before the end. This will purportedly be a time of great joy and blessings where the Earth is restored to how God meant it to be before the Fall happened. I think those who believe these folks want to survive long enough to experience this kingdom of heaven on Earth. Personally I lost some respect for the Countdown people when one gentleman levelled an ad hominem attack at an apologist who debunked both the “3 days” and Fr. Rodrigue by accusing “certain apologists” of believing more in Star Trek than in private revelations. This insult struck me as both silly - the apologist in question is certainly aware that Star Trek is fiction, although he is a fan - and uncharitable, because we are under no moral or other obligations to adhere to these private revelations and thus declining to lend them credence should carry no moral stigma.
Thanks for this, Fr Rodrigue felt off to me after watching him a couple of times. Sad thing is that he's also been on an interview with John Henry-Weston which may lead Catholics to believe he is authentic. One other priest who gives me the heebies and seems to be very popular at the moment is Fr Jim Blount - do you have any thoughts on him...?

God bless you in trying to do what you think is right but obviously you do not understand the role of a prophet and prophecy! Even as the blessed mother has appeared to various people on Earth she comes with messages and warnings and always says that they can be changed or mitigated through prayer, this is exactly what happens with other prophets, be the priests or exorcism priests as with Father. Predictions can change or be mitigated through prayer. The only thing that cannot be changed is scripture because scripture must be fulfilled. Jesus sends us prophets to warn us and tell us what may happen if we do not change. I hope this helps you to understand that you should not be condemning a Prophet sent by God
