If you listened his interview with Art Bell and others, Malachi Martin never said he left his priesthood rather he requested, and granted, to leave the Jesuits. His situation was unique but according to him he was a priest under special authority. Indeed, that part was a bit confusing. However, here fr. Murr claims at 33:00 Malachi Martin left the priesthood and later returned to active ministry. And yet Malachi Martin himself said he celebrated Mass and performed many many exorcisms. I understand his ministry could be have been private but that doesn't do justice the claim made by Fr. Murr since according to Fr. Malachi he never left his priesthood but rather only the order he belonged. In the meantime, since Fr. Murr knew Fr. Malachi Martin, more on him would be a good idea. There are so many subject matter to be discussed in light of what's happening in the Church and the world, at large. Thank you for all your work. God bless and keep up the good work!!
Just finished the interview. But what's intriguing is that Dr. Moynihan asked a very significant question and neither returned to it nor let fr. Murr deny it or affirm it. That question is about fr. Malachi's supposedly affair. We still want to hear fr. Murr's response on this matter. Dr. Moynihan could also ask if it's true that Fr. Malachi was living in New York with a woman? If so in what capacity??? I hope there's part two. Pax et Bonum.
: Your question was asked 10 mo ago, regarding Malachi Martin. An internet search for Fr Charles C Fiore's "Tribute," his 8/19/99 Letter to "Our Sunday Visitor," and a letter written by Father Malachi Martin himself - addressing critics' attacks, and Fr Fiore's 8/1/99 Letter to the "NY Times," along with Father Malachi Martin's BOOKS ..... will provide your answer. ❤
Fr Malachi Martin brought me to the Traditional Latin Mass 3 years ago after finding him on the Internet and changed my Catholic life for the better. Defender of the Faith Father Malachi Martin pray for us 🙏
I also read Malachis book, The Jesuits, back when I didnt even know about the downfall of the Order of the Society of Jesus! As a HUGE fan of St. Ignatius of Loyola, I was SO disappointed in the Order St. Ignatius had founded! Fr Murr is spot on re: the evil in "liberation theology"!! And, all roads lead back to Freemasonry!
Can I get your honest opinion? I was given a copy of Malachi Martin’s book Windswept House around 2001 by an sspx priest. While reading it, I could see a shadow man in the corner of the room that would disappear when I looked at it directly. It got worse and I could feel the presence of the devil in a back room. It was at a petrol station that I was working at. It got so bad and scary that I had to stop and it all stopped. I thought at the time that this confirmed Malachi Martin. This same thing happened a few years later to a friend’s GF when she was reading books about Hinduism and how to interpret dreams. Skipping ahead, I came across Fr. Amorth’s book and he said this happens as a warning when you read evil books. But why did it happen to me with Malachi Martin?
Dear@@themoderncatholicwarrior7216 , sometimes, there are areas we are curious about, but it is not good for our spiritual lives to get caught up in those areas. It does sound like you were being warned. I was a friend of Malachi Martin 20 years before "Windswept House." It's a novel. I think it is really okay that you don't read it!!
I remember beautiful, holy Jesuit priests who never let you leave the church without challenging or educating you. Then things changed overnight and we got fluffy bunny religion. No cross, no spiritual battles, just hugs for everyone because we're all going to heaven 😅
@@DeliaGibbons the time period you are speaking about is when the most abuse by priest occurred. Things were not out front but behind closed doors. As of the 1970s, after Vatican 2, cases got less and less. But do you remember the time period when the church hierarchy abandoned the church and one performed a black mass? That is found in the gospels.
Father Martin never gave up his priesthood. He kept his vows of chastity In order to make a living he gave up his vow of poverty. Also his vow of obedience as he didn’t trust the bishops at the time. God bless Father Martin.
Fr. Malachi Martin always celebrated the Tridentine Latin Mass!!!! He ALWAYS had priestly faculties from a Cardinal delegated by Pope's Paul VI and John Paul II for private Mass. He always had priestly faculties!!!!
@@rodneyrickard3763 In other words he never was dispensed from his vow of obedience. He answered directly to the Pope through the Cardinal. However, he was then under a Bishop in a diocese who gave him permission to do exorcism! How many times in his various interviews he mentioned that he would never do an exorcism without the authority of the Catholic Church…which implies being mandated by a Bishop in a diocese to do to which he submitted to by obedience. It seems that we don’t know the same Father Malachi Martin or that Father Malachi Martin was a liar!!! Thank you Rodney helping to settle this element. There is a lot of mystery surrounding his role in the activities that he was asked to do for the Church, namely in the USSR, which are shrouded with mystery. One thing for sure when he took a vow to secrecy he kept it!
@constance875 About five years ago the radio programs where he was guess were on YT. There were many. I listen to all of them and more than once. On those programs he was asked questions about himself. Many times about if he was still a priest. That is where I got it from the horses mouth.
I credit Fr M. Martin for making me a much better informed Catholic. I believe he was a true and devout son of the Church. May he rest in the eternal peace of Christ. Fr Martin pray for us!
Malachi Martin had masters and PHDs not just one, spoke 5 different languages and not only he was an extremely intelligent man , but prolific author who wrote like a prophet , completely understood the politics of his time and could predict the future of the church related to mankind’s destiny. He was an exorcist since in Cairo as an archeologist. He was trained in Rome and appointed as an official exorcist at the age of 30. He was a consultant to two popes in Vatican, had been given the sealed letter of Fatima to read and always maintained his influence in Vatican cause he wanted to know what’s happening with the future of his church. I’m not a Catholic , however I can recognize nobility, genius and originality in a man. God bless his soul 🙏🏻❤️
Fr. Malachi Martin (may he rest in peace...imho is a saint), was key in my returning to the RCC in 2017 after I listened to all the 12 hours of interviews between him and Art Bell. Topic: Possession and Exorcism. I read most of his books during these interview sessions over a few weeks and began to immerse myself in all things "Catholic"...was raised in traditional Latin mass in 50's/early 60's, Catholic school with Carmelite nuns were our teachers, I became horrified as a 13 year old in 1969 when "the Vat II changes occurred." I would never set foot in a RCC until 2017, AFTER reading 'Windswept House.' That did it for me. A devout friend led me to a FSSP apostolate nearby. I made it to the 12:15 low mass. Sat at the back and wept. I was HOME! Spoke to the priest afterwards. Made the appt. Now lead a sacramental life. May God reward that holy priest, Fr. Malachy Martin, exorcist, ex-Jesuit. He was brilliant and he got his message out loud and clear. Many scoffed at him, but he was right over the target. It was an infiltration. Just like the infiltration in our American government. Deep church. Deep state.
Wow, your story is compelling! I knew nothing of Catholicism though I was baptized a Catholic in ‘65 then went to Catholic schools in the 70s but there was no catechesis. Nothing was taught. I went to the Traditional Latin Mass in 2015 and I was home. I heard that Father Martin felt it best to describe the infiltration of the church through fictional novels, such as ‘Windswept House’ and it was his purpose through fiction to lead people to that truth and in many ways despite that truth lead them back to the Catholic Church, so it seems like it it worked and you came back. He was an amazing man with an incredible talent.
@@patc1309 Aren't the interviews with Bernard Janzen similar to Coast to Coast radio with Art Bell? How do they differ? I listened to the entire 12 hours of Fr. MM with Art Bell over a two week period in 2017...after that I read his books and returned with great haste to the TRADITIONAL RCC 15 minutes from me at the time.
Art Bell was the most popular talk show host in the world. 180 million listeners. His #1 most popular guest was Malachi Martin. Malachi was above all else, kind, could explain complicated theological issues with ease and simplicity. My favorite book was “The Keys of this Blood “ His story about the Freemasons in Europe and Pope Leo 13 and his vision of Satan asking God for a 100 years to destroy the Church was amazing. God, in His mercy gave us two Polish saintly popes for the beginning of the twentieth century and the end of the twentieth century-bookends to protect the Church for the 100 years-THAT was amazing information told in such a way that only a master storyteller can tell. It explains so much!
I certainly hope this wasn’t the last podcast on Malachi Martin. You barely touched on his life and death. Please, please continue the conversation. There has to be more. You never mentioned that he was a mystic. You never mentioned that he visited mental institutions to try to help those who were possessed and oppressed (he said 85% were). His knowledge of the secret of Fatima. There is so much more to his life. You barely touched on it!!
He's the only priest without the priestly clothes that is approven in the traditional community. If he was the priest all the time, why he wasn't wearing appropriate clothes? I can't get past that fact.
I remember something along the same lines. If I remember correctly, Fr. Martin was released from some of his vows (eg., poverty) but not others, thus he could still retain the title of a priest, along with some of the powers such as being able to give mass and some sacraments. Since he would no longer be financially supported by the church, he needed to be released from the vow of poverty so he could earn enough income to support himself. I’m not sure if he gave up the vow of chastity, but he never got married and as they touched on here, there were rumours of him having relationships with women, even an affair with a married woman, these were never substantiated and were often spread and kept alive by his distractors, critics (or as the kids would say, “his haters”). On a separate note, I could listen to Fr. Martin talk for hours, regardless of the subject as he was an amazingly well educated, informed & engaging/entertaining speaker. His discussion of the third secret, the corruption & conspiracy within the Vatican as well as his conversations about the occult and paranormal and of course his experiences with exorcisms were my favourite topics. My apologies for rambling, I’m Canadian, we love to converse & apologize. Cheers
@@dwayners13 Yes, I remeber that also. Only was released from poverty and that is when he became a prolific writer. I never beleived the affair stories either. I really miss his wise comments.
I am greatly intrigued by all discussions involving Malichai Martin. He was certainly a pivotal figure in our time. Thank you for this! Please expand this effort to produce more discussions about Fr. Martin.
He was the most brilliant thinker. I would put him into the group of far ahead thinkers together with Fr. Reginald Knox. Brilliant priests. May God be merciful to their souls.😀
My two favorite personalities. Robert, faithful Catholic with inside 💠 knowledge of all Vatican crypts, and Fr. Murr, my favorite dismantler of lies and conspiracies ❤️
Fr Malachi Martin's mind and intelligence was higher and far ahead of most people. Unfortunately the slow and fleshly minded can never really grasp Fr Martin and will misinterpret him because their perception and intellect is weak. Such people are the ones who've made all sorts of false accusations against him. It appears Fr Martin wanted to get out and write books to alert the Catholic world due to what he was privy to yet could not openly and freely disclose.
@susand3668 You are misinformed, then. NO one can be excommunicated for "disobedience" to a technical discipline. NO.ONE. That is Canon Law! Excommunication is reserved for HERETICS and those who commit specific sins. Abp. Lefebvre did *not* die excommunicatio! He also LAWFULLY disobeyed sin! He ALSO had the *permission and assistance* of Pope Paul VI in setting up the SSPX in such a way that it could be rendered less vulnerable to interference by bad Popes! Apparently, Pp. Paul VI knew what was coming. There ya go.
Excellent podcast Father Murr and Dr. Moynihan..Really appreciate all your tireless efforts in keeping us up to date regarding our Catholic Church God bless both of you abundantly ❤
I wish I could have heard this LIVE. Malachi discusses exactly what you and father Murr were trying to figure out about his priesthood. He has discussed that in interviews. He left the jesuit order but he did not leave the priesthood he was never laicised he only left the order and he did that because he needed to be released from his vows so that he could actually make a living Which he could not do under the vows of the Jesuit order. He could not go along With modern trajectory of the Jesuit order.
Yes it was frustrating to listen to. Malachi Martin took time in many interviews to explain the special dispensation he received from Pope Paul VI and explained he always remained a priest. He never left the priesthood. His friend Robert Marrow has explained this as well
Martin was probably trying to get back in because he knew nothing could be done from the outside. The camel had pushed him out. He seems to be one of the few whistleblowers...trying to tell all in his own way. Very good point 'they wanted to bring Heaven down to earth' (19:57 video). Saul Alinsky and his social justice agenda came to mind in this discussion. Excellent, excellent discussion. Thank you. Blessings to you both on your retreat and throughout this Blessed Lent.
Thank you for this podcast edition. I fully concur with Father Murr's statements about the characteristcs and marks of the traditional Jesuit : intellectually gifted men, men who can stand alone and function independently if required. I have two relatives who were Jesuit priests. Both men were siblings. Their father was employed in the Guinness brewery in Dublin, and both of his sons joined the Jesuit Order and were ordained as priests. One of these men went on to become the Provincial Head of the Australian Jesuit province. He ended up leaving the order and he married an ex-nun. The other man remained a priest. Both men were highly educated men and were ordained in the late 1940's and early/mid 1950's, but both men were also highly involved in working for "social equality". Thanks for this edition, fascinating and informative as always
This is about the fifth or sixth time I have listened to this program and I am still fascinated and learning from it. I love you and ask God to bless you both always and abundantly. Please continue to enlighten us all about our Church and pray for us that God reveals to us what we need to do in our daily lives so that we don’t lose our most precious faith. We pray for God’s loving and just guidance. Most sincerely, l l 54:42 lamuth. 😇🙏🏻
I learned so much from this but learning about our church is made so easy by listening to anything Moynihan has to say in videos or in print. By reading Inside the Vatican for years, I got the Catholic education that i never got in Catholic schools. This subject on my favorite priest of all time was so interesting and eye opening. Martin was the greatest man that was perfectly right to tell us all the truth we need to know. Easy to understand and subjects that we are able to retain all the way up until our death.
Fr. Arrupe seems to have had PTSD from the Japanese bomb, and wanted to prevent this from every happening, and thought liberation theology could save mankind, not realizing only Jesus could save mankind.
I heard several interviews of Fr Martin with Bernard Janzen. Fr Martin stated he asked Pope Paul VI to be released from the Jesuits and to be secularized (not laicized). He was granted both. He maintained his vow of chastity but was released from his vow of poverty so that he could earn a living. He stated he continued to say daily Mass (traditional).
In 2004, Fr. Vincent O'Keefe SJ, former Vicar General of the Jesuits and past President of Fordham University, affirmed through the DC-based Father Tom Widner SJ, Secretary for Communications of the U.S. Jesuit Conference, that Malachi Martin was granted a dispensation, called a _rescript,_ by Pope Paul VI from his vows in the Jesuit order except for chastity. After publication of *"The Jesuits: The Society of Jesus and the Betrayal of the Roman Catholic Church"* (1988), the Jesuits spread rumors claiming Malachi Martin was defrocked and expelled from the Church. Martin denied this until his 1999 death. Father O'Keefe was the Vicar General of the Society in 1965, at the time of Father Malachi Martin's departure from Rome. *_The fact that the Jesuits confirmed Fr. Martin was a valid priest his ENTIRE LIFE and was not laicized was a radical change in Jesuit policy concerning Father Malachi Martin - they acknowledged his status as a valid, lifelong priest._* Why Father O'Keefe set the record straight on Malachi Martin five years after Martin's death in 1999 is unknown; he died at age 92 at the Jesuit infirmary at Fordham University. *DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE NEXT TIME...*
@flyingtigers3747 I suspect Fr. O'Keefe's conscience pricked him...as it should have! He certainly - and unjustly - tried to destroy Fr. Malachi! May God have mercy on O'Keefe's soul! 🙏🙏🙏
Oh my goodness! I cannot listen to the interviewer any more!!!!! I don’t mind Fr Murr speaking because he is interesting, but Robert talks more than I can handle!
I used to listen to Father Malachi Martin on the radio. That person served as advisor to 2 Popes maybe 3. He knew the 3rd secret of The Lady of Fatima.
20:54 The key concept to Christian revolution and Christian Justice is "My Kingdom is not of this World". Revolution to build a "workers' paradise" is outside the bounds of the Christian Spirit, moreover, this is impossible. But "revolution" to right real and ongoing wrongs, and restore the primacy of the family and the hearth, is totally in keeping with the Christian Spirit.
Hi, I am very happy I found someone who knew Father Martin, I have to contact Father Murr and tell him what Father Martin did for me 2 weeks after his passing! I never had the chance to tell Art Bell, because I did not know if he would believe my story.....Anyway, I will try and find an email for Father Murr.....❤❤❤❤
Father Malachi (Mal-a-kee) Martin never stopped being a priest. He was not happy with the changes introduced by Vatican II and wanted to step back, but not stop being a priest. He was released from his vow of poverty in order to earn a living, and was always assigned to a Bisphop that he had to answer to. He was still a priest but not assigned to a particular parish for "regular" duty. The world is a lesser place without that great man of God.
Fr Martin always said his books were "faction," some fiction written in, but he said 98 or 99% was true. The fiction part was names he changed, and a few side stories of fictitious characters for interest. There IS a woman who gave testimony that she WAS the girl in that black mass and confirmed it happened. He also claimed he was never laicized. After reading Windswept House, I'm convinced that Fr Martin is in part (of an amalgamated character), the young priest who is behind the Iron Curtain post-war.
@lorih9182 James Mitchner did the same thing. Kept historical facts and changed names. His books were always published under the genre of "fiction" but I've learned more about factual history in his books than I ever did in History classes. He had the largest empire of academic researchers of any author who has ever sat at a typewriter. He used hundreds of grad students to do his research! 👍
I think the claim that he was laicized was circulated by the SJ who declared him no longer a priest as a condition for releasd from vows. JPII clarified the matter and he was able to have faculties formalized in the Adiocese of NYC.
The Church is in a crisis of poor catechesis and the pope is clearly not exempt. I pray for the souls of those responsible, and the souls of those starved of truth. I know we are called to be joyful bearers of light, but the devastation is very heartbreaking 💔
@7oneofseven... Sadly, it's much worse than you say: the crisis is of APOSTASY, as Fr. Murr directly stated… and explicit heresy. 💡 Deceiver pope francis personally & officially taught >DeFide defined, condemned heresy on the Eucharist that Trent directly specified.< In »Desiderio Desideravi« virtually word-for-word francis states to be correct and of the Faith >exactly what Trent directly-and Infallibly-condemned.< There's Not any gray here: it's direct, in-your-face denial and rejection not merely of an article of Faith, but of THE Most Central core of the Faith which concerns the Holy Eucharist and its reception. 💡And that's Not even touching on francis's publicly stated blasphemous heresy against the Immaculate Conception of Mary, a whole other subject. These are just two among others of what pope francis and his agents, aka apostate bishops, support. 💡💡And none of that even touches the IMMORAL teachings of pope francis, eg. about "cohabitating couples" being in a marriage and >having "the grace [of the Sacrament] of marriage."(!)< The approved apparitions of Fatima and Akita warned of dire times. 💫St. Francis of Assisi solemnly warned about a pope who would be "a destroyer." And Ven. Archbp. Sheen decades ago explained that a bad man does personal sin but an evil man causes or leads others to sin. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on us. 💫 Padre Pio said the Rosary is "the weapon!" So… many more we need to pray.
If this helps, when you are praying the Rosary, contemplate and meditate on the first three prayers Faith, Hope and Charity. Spend extra time on each one individually and I think you'll start getting answers for strength and foresight/clarity. Ask Our Blessed Mother questions, discuss your concerns and she'll guide you. Sometimes I'll pray the entire Rosary relating either Faith, Hope or Charity with that daily Mystery. One thing about our wonderful Mother is, she always knows how to console us when we're hurting❤🩹
When you have a guest, please allow the guest to speak more than yourself. Unfortunately, you have a very knowledgeable guest on Fr.Martin and one who personally knew him, but you do most of the talking. Sorry, but true.
Incredible times. Where is the true Church of Christ? Bergoglio is teaching false doctrines and attacking traditional and orthodox Christians while blessing sodomites…a sin that cries out to heaven. Where does a Catholic find peace and clarity in these horrible circumstances?
Orthodox Christianity. There is no one between us and Christ, he is Lord of the World. Not the pope. The only way to God is through Christ, not the pope. Christ is the center, not a pope.
@nativevirginian8344 No Catholic has EVER claimed a Pope to be "the center" for Pete's sake! A Pope has 2 basic functions: 1) Teach and GUARD/DEFEND the Faith as it has always been taught, and 2) Be the Servant of his Bishops, to uphold them in the Faith. THAT'S IT! What we are seeing is an anti-pope, a very bad man! Orthodox are heretics!
@barjonah9466 The Bride of Christ is where She always is: in the Faithful who cling to ALL Dogma and Doctrine. You will find Her Dogmas and Doctrine still being taught and followed in the Traditional Orders: SSPX, FSSP, ICKSP, CMRI... Find one. Go there.
About 20 years ago I asked Fr. Pacwa about Fr. M. Martin, he claimed to know of no proof he had even been ordained. That and some other things slowed my move to Tradition by about the same amount of time. I still love and respect Fr. Pacwa.
@@janep7211 Art Bell was not a Catholic. His interviews by Catholic Bernard Janzen are far more focused in depth on Catholic Understanding of dogma and prophecy. -- he is not having, as in Bell's interviews, to explain everything for non-Catholics.
MALICHI HAD NO TIME FOR POPE John23,who rubbished Fatima. MALICHI loved Fatima. He was a close friend of Padre Pio. The Art Bell tapes are rich with material about him. To much bias, even my. But Padre Pio endorsed him and was a friend. They had meals in new york
@PaeataClark Fr. Malachi Martin's interviews with Bernard Jantzen (a devout Catholic) are better. More in depth and less "sensational". Art Bell was definitely a sensationalist.
13:15 I really appreciate the section on _Liberation Theology / Marxist-"christianity"_ you guys. _"For they have sown the wind,"_ and today we are surely _"reap[ing] the whirlwind"_ (Hos 8:7). Martin airs this out a bit in 1978 on Buckley's "Firing Line" (Mission of the Pope, 18:47 - 19:49) saying that it's being taught at the universities and cautions that there is going to be trouble. And trouble there is, for sure. Lastly, does anyone know if, and where, Martin gets specifically into any of his paleography work and dealings with Card. Bea? Thanks, and Blessings!
The way a dog sits by his master’s table, nice and friendly, valiant and good, will not permit any strange fellow to come near, from pure wickedness, hatred, and is envious, so that he alone will have his place: Such little dogs are the Suiten, [they] know how to ingratiate themselves nicely, all gentle and friendly, as long as they are being acquainted with people in highest positions in the land.
8:34 You men do realize that Cardinal Bea was one of the most obnoxiously liberal prelates even under Pius XII. It is said that he was largely responsible for that most reprehensible encyclical: Divino afflante Spiritu, which revolutionized exegesis, to put it mildly.
What your missing, is that the little 11 year old girl, who was ritually abused has made a statement, of her recollection of the event, which she notarized, under a assumed name, to protect her identity. Also, Church Militant claims to have been sent documents from the Church in the US where this occurred, sent by someone within the Church, who had access.
Fr. Murr stated that what happened in the U.S. was true! That’s where the horrendous “actions”if I can even call it that took place.😫 He doesn’t see the “Citadel” event happening in the Pauline chapel. Doesn’t mean it didn’t take place somewhere else perhaps on a smaller scale.
@brianjanes1614 Correct. It could easily have taken place in another church (probably a basement crypt) in Rome proper, rather than within the walls of the Vatican.
Matthew 7.15-16 ‘Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.’ this verse explains the Jesuits well.
Malachi said over and over that he was not laicized but secularized. My uncle was a secular priest meaning he did not belong to a religious orderwho make 3 vows. but was under a Bishop in a diocese, made no vow except that of chastity and obedience but not that of poverty…?? This he corrected many times on the different programs where he was invited…???🤷♀️
i have listened to Malachi speaking about exorcisms he had done, very interesting and his speech was intelligent and centered on Christ. now listening to these two i find more questions than transparency on their ignorance of what has happened to the catholic church. i have yet to find any Catholic authority speaking on the subject of kidnapping children from Indigenous communities in Canada, America or Australia where the children were taken to boarding schools and abused and murdered. i can see that this practice of destroying children is what has caused the Catholic church to be in the condition it is today. i can not understand how the church is allowed to continue with so much abuse of children happening for 200 years.
@@PaeataClark Fr. Murr & Dr. Monihan gave us snippets of info about M. Martin. I just connected the dots as they say, & I got just about the almost full jigsaw picture! Incredible!
Dr. Moynihan, this was a fascinating interview. It would be appreciated in the future if you could please give Fr. Murr more time to talk and talk less over him. As a student who graduated from a Jesuit college in the 1990s, I can relate to some of what you both discussed. To add, the “social Justice” movement overtook any semblance of Christianity in our school by the time I was a student. The first week of school I was introduced to gay pride month, where condoms were available on every residence hall door for students. It was known some of the priests were gay. Some did live in the student residence halls for access to students outside “office hours”, which was a neat way to develop a more personal relationship with the priests. The lay faculty my school hired was always very liberal, hired to proclaim social Justice works in all of us, and he was effective. I have memories of a retreat he accompanied us on where the leader sang in a circle of fire and prayed for China’s Mao! I was young and naive about Communism then, but knew something was off. Didn’t know enough to speak out against that. This same former campus minister espouses outright Marxist and Communist ideals openly in his social media pages, so this all makes sense. And our Jesuit administration was aware of all of this and supported it. Since graduating, I never once supported our alumni association. Made some good friends there, but I am probably the only one I know who has remained a practicing Catholic of our large friend group. This is also true for friends I had in other years: those who remained Catholic are of a very liberal bent…supporting ideals such as abortion and openly espousing anti-Semitic platitudes such as “from the land to the sea”. Our Jesuits were known to possess an enviable liquor room at their retreat house, where students would sometimes plunder when invited there for retreats.
Happy VaLENTine's Day, Gentleman!!! ❤❤❤ Ive recieved Ashes on my forehead but always disappoints me when my thick hair quickly disappears the SIGN on my forehead that Im Catholic and I belong to the Triune God!!!!!
Malachi kept his vow of chastity. It’s the vows of obedience and poverty that he was allowed to dispense with. He never had an affair (that we know of) nor was he ever married unlike the other Jesuit priests mentioned here. This might be one reason why he was permitted to take up Priesthood again.
I so enjoyed this. I first heard of Malachi Martin on Coast To Coast AM with Art Bell. But since then I have been fascinated with the life of Father Martin and I’m learning something new all of the time about him. It was very interesting to hear about the history of The Jesuits even before getting into the real Topic of Father Martin. Thank You very much for sharing this. So is The Windswept House a work of Fiction or Non-Fiction? Obviously it’s a work of Fiction no matter what it is claimed to be. So what I’m understanding is his Fictional Work was a way for him to try to get across that there was something very diabolically wrong with the church and this was a way for him to do that without coming out and saying it outright. Isn’t it so strange how everything always comes back to money? It’s amazing how a person with enough money, or a group of people with enough money, or even a government with the right amount of money can cause so much change. And it’s not good change it’s change that is plain out nothing more than doing what needs done to change what has always been taught and even change the scripture into something that it’s not. And the sad part is that it’s happening and I think that it’s came to the point of saying you can take this amount of money and you can do us a favor and you have the power to persuade this or that. But if you don’t take this money and you don’t agree with it, then who knows how many people we can get to say this or that and you will be the next person going down for it.
Thanks for the talk... when you host a stream like this, you need the host (or someone you have chosen) to make sure chat doesn't go off the rails and ruin the experience for others. Some nutter named Wesley Curry II, who appears to be mentally ill, came in spamming comments in all caps, disrupting the stream and blathering nonsense. Just a tip for the future. 👍
In case you aren't computer or Internet "savvy"... I mean to say, you can silence those who are disruptive. They can still watch the stream, but may no longer be a plague on the people assembled to watch and comment on it in real-time.
His name was pronounced Malachi (mal-el-KEY). Malachi Martin was released of his vows of poverty and obedience (not chastity). Malachi came to NY and for a time drove a cab. Also, he performed exorcisms. He was a most remarkable man. There is much you left out. He continued a relationship with John Paul II..... and you should inform yourself and find out how far he went as far as titles go. Fascinating man.
Everything you need to know about Robert Blair Kaiser you can see in his interview in “Hostage to the Devil.” The man appeared to have been possessed. Listen to the part of the interview where he discusses his belief (or lack of belief) in the devil
I could be mistaken, as it's been a while since I listened to his interviews on it, but I don't think he ever left the priesthood; he just left the Jesuit order. The Pope released him from his vows of obedience, so he didn't have to follow the leadership of the Jesuits, and poverty, so that he could support himself, but he kept his vow of celibacy. He also had someone to whom he had to report directly in Rome.
It seems mean spirited to write such a book because it serves no GOOD purpose, but cruellly smears two people's reputation. I began reading Fr. Malachi's books in the mid 1980's and they had a pivotal spiritual effect on my Evangelical Protestant heart. I credit Fr. Malachi as one of the forces leading to my 2001 conversion to Catholicism - and I will always have a fondness for MM's honesty and prophetic insight. However, Mr Kaiser seems like a vindictive man - especially that he wrote the book after Fr. Malachi was dead.
why is it blocked people still show up ? in chat replay , Wesley Curry II keeps popping up even though I have blocked him... what kind of sorcery is that ?
@pattican700 LOL No "sorcery". Just because YOU "blocked" or Reported him just means the comment or reply disappears -- for you only! -- until you refresh the page (basically closing, then coming back). Then, it's back (never went away). It takes the owner of the channel, or RUclips itself to actually DELETE the comment. You're not in control of that.
I have to somewhat disagree with Fr. Murr's take on Malachi Martin. Through countless interviews, especially with Art Bell, I truly believe Fr. Martin was not only a visionary, but saw too many things while working behind the scenes in Vatican II that disturbed him. Though Fr. Murr may have known Fr. Martin in his later life, one does not truly know the workings of the other intimately. I believe Malachi Martin when he said he wrote his books incognito of the real persons involved, but that the events were true. His book "Hostage to the Devil" is so frightening and realistic that I was only able to read the first two chapters before recalling my own experience with the powers of the spiritual war being raged. My respect, however, goes out to Fr. Murr for his take and opinion on Fr. Malachi Martin. Prayers will continue to be said for the church and it's clergy.
The issues depicted in ‘Wind Swept House’ have been validated elsewhere. They also, IMO, have been repeatedly validated by the current condition of the Vatican and the faith in general.
57:14 This is a dialog of the deaf. If you want to talk about Vatican II, instead of talking about steamy conspiracies at dinner parties, just talk about the utter heresy in the documents themselves.
He NEVER LEFT THE PRIESTHOOD. Fr Malachi Martin explained that MANY times. Maybe you should have interviewed someone who actually knew him. Not occasionally ran into him
Just to be clear, Leonardo Boff is described by Fr. Malachi Martin in the Jesuits as "Franciscan Liberation Theologian Leonardo Boff." page 58 Touchstone edition 1988. "Peruvian Jesuit Gustavo Gutierrez" is written in that form in virtually every citation. That could be a genuine mistake on the part of Fr. Martin or is more likely a proofreading error by the editors that went by uncaught.

It looks like they were bought with a lot of money by those who wanted to destroy the church and the Jesuits fell for it what a pity
He kept his vows of chastity
In order to make a living he gave up his vow of poverty.
Loved Fr. Martin, learned so much from his interviews with Art Bell.
Correct.he spoke about this.
I credit Fr M. Martin for making me a much better informed Catholic. I believe he was a true and devout son of the Church. May he rest in the eternal peace of Christ. Fr Martin pray for us!
Same. Malachi, Pray For Us! God Bless my friend….Let us pray for the soon Triumph of The Immaculate Heart of Mary! 🙏🏽📿
Deep state.
Thank you.
I hope you listened to his interviews with Bernard Janzen
@@patc1309 Aren't the interviews with Bernard Janzen similar to Coast to Coast radio with Art Bell? How do they differ? I listened to the entire 12 hours of Fr. @soulscry8697
Well, Jantzen is a Catholic, so the interviews are vastly more in depth. 😊
I am just now getting into Malachi Martin and am fascinated and impressed in light of what is occurring today

Father Martin said in interviews that he was always a priest, he was just released from the Jesuit order, but he was still a priest.

Very powerful and so many who could have intervened did not God Bless Archbishop Lefevre
You're so right and so much information, details, names, etc. were never written down, so they took this valuable information with them!
Yes, we need to pray for Archbishop Lefebvre. For all his good intentions, he was disobedient and he died excommunicate, as far as we know.
God bless and love Archbishop Thuc.
And the SSPX
@susand3668
You are misinformed, then.
I have great respect for Fr. Martin (Malachi, not James, of course). I found his books and talks very informative and edifying. RIP, Malachi.
Excellent podcast Father Murr and Dr. Moynihan..Really appreciate all your tireless efforts in keeping us up to date regarding our Catholic Church
God bless both of you abundantly ❤
I wish I could have heard this LIVE. Malachi discusses exactly what you and father Murr were trying to figure out about his priesthood. He has discussed that in interviews. He left the jesuit order but he did not leave the priesthood he was never laicised he only left the order and he did that because he needed to be released from his vows so that he could actually make a living Which he could not do under the vows of the Jesuit order. He could not go along With modern trajectory of the Jesuit order.
He was released from the obedience and poverty vows, not the chastity vow.
Listen to the Art Belle interviews. Wow!
Yes it was frustrating to listen to. Malachi Martin took time in many interviews to explain the special dispensation he received from Pope Paul VI and explained he always remained a priest. He never left the priesthood. His friend Robert Marrow has explained this as well
@janep7211
The interviews with Bernard Jantzen (a devout Catholic). MUCH more informative!
Fr Malachi Martin was a priest and prophet for our time. Many priests disliked the truths he told and the Jesuits tried to ruin him.
And yet his predictions are terrifyingly and increasingly accurate. The mark of a prophet is that his prophecies are proven true.
Malachi Martin never left the priesthood. He explains that in detail in several interviews both with Bernard Janzen and Art Bell
Love MM’s books. Have also always been fascinated with him. A brilliant man. Used to have some tapes of his interviews.

Correction: not _remembering_ that only Jesus could save! I imagine Fr. Arrupe did have PTSD. Prayer helps greatly with PTSD. I should know.
Thankyou!
This is the truth, and I wish it was at the top of this collections of posts.

The key concept to Christian revolution and Christian Justice is "My Kingdom is not of this World".

Thank you gentlemen for this.

Now this is the subject matter I want to hear.
I was in church, so I missed the live. Maybe next time. Gtsy both again. I always look forward to your podcasts.
@lorih9182
James Mitchner did the same thing.

💡💡And none of that even touches the IMMORAL teachings of pope francis, eg. about "cohabitating couples" being in a marriage and >having "the grace [of the Sacrament] of marriage."(!)<
The approved apparitions of Fatima and Akita warned of dire times.

@nativevirginian8344
No Catholic has EVER claimed a Pope to be "the center" for Pete's sake!

I've heard it that Malachi Martin was dispensed from his Jesuit vows, but remained a priest.... only saying.
8:34
You men do realize that Cardinal Bea was one of the most obnoxiously liberal prelates even under Pius XII. It is said that he was largely responsible for that most reprehensible encyclical: Divino afflante Spiritu, which revolutionized exegesis, to put it mildly.
Sedevacanti is the only answer, But in Ireland there are no sedevacanti Priests. Must keep praying Ave Maria.
Was not Cdl. Bernardin the perp in the South Carolina black Mass?
@brianjanes1614
Correct.
Brilliant talk!
i have listened to Malachi speaking about exorcisms he had done, very interesting and his speech was intelligent and centered on Christ.
now listening to these two i find more questions than transparency on their ignorance of what has happened to the catholic church. i have yet to find any Catholic authority speaking on the subject of kidnapping children from Indigenous communities in Canada, America or Australia where the children were taken to boarding schools and abused and murdered. i can see that this practice of destroying children is what has caused the Catholic church to be in the condition it is today.
i can not understand how the church is allowed to continue with so much abuse of children happening for 200 years.

Good grief !!! Incredible story .... Shocking ! And, yes, APOSTASY !
No.i saw all the tapes of Art Bells tapes. 100s of them.i am 77 years.
Gosh. Help it was two Vows, but he retained one. Usually I know..
@@PaeataClark Fr. Murr & Dr. Monihan gave us snippets of info about M. Martin. I just connected the dots as they say, & I got just about the almost full jigsaw picture! Incredible!
@@PaeataClarkHe retained the vow of chastity.
Only would miss this because I am in New Zealand! God Bless.
George C. Scott playing Patton explains the triumph processions: "...all glory is fleeting..."
Sir you say get it the truth well how can we get to the truth when father Malachi Martin is not here to defend himself
Happy VaLENTine's Day, Gentleman!!! ❤❤❤ Ive recieved Ashes on my forehead but always disappoints me when my thick hair quickly disappears the SIGN on my forehead that Im Catholic and I belong to the Triune God!!!!!
Get a hairband.
Barrettes, headband, VEIL.
Stupendous!
I wish Fr. Murr could have been given more time to speak.
MM wrote an excellent book on exorcism.
Are any specific Martin books I should read first?
Or any other by anyone else that I should read about the Church, Vatican, etc.
@sports872
Dr. Anthony Stine, channel Return To Tradition, says read Vatican, first.
fascinating
Thanks for the talk... when you host a stream like this, you need the host (or someone you have chosen) to make sure chat doesn't go off the rails and ruin the experience for others. Some nutter named Wesley Curry II, who appears to be mentally ill, came in spamming comments in all caps, disrupting the stream and blathering nonsense. Just a tip for the future. 👍
In case you aren't computer or Internet "savvy"... I mean to say, you can silence those who are disruptive. They can still watch the stream, but may no longer be a plague on the people assembled to watch and comment on it in real-time.
Thank you for saying honestly what is happening now: apostasy.
This is a ‘must see’ interview. Share it!
Everything you need to know about Robert Blair Kaiser you can see in his interview in “Hostage to the Devil.” The man appeared to have been possessed. Listen to the part of the interview where he discusses his belief (or lack of belief) in the devil
The man was at the least Bipolar and delusional.
Yep!
@pattican700
LOL No "sorcery".
“ Sons of Cardinal Bea “ there is a story there, and the “ vast overestimation of the strength of catholic practice “
There is a reason Jesus chose simple men
The issues depicted in ‘Wind Swept House’ have been validated elsewhere. They also, IMO, have been repeatedly validated by the current condition of the Vatican and the faith in general.
His calls into the coast to coast shows with Art Bell where very interesting .
There are recording available
57:14
This is a dialog of the deaf.
One can listen , on you tube ,to Art Bell hours of interviewing Fr martin
Art Bell was not a Catholic; for Catholics, the interviews by Canadian Catholic Bernard Janzen are far richer and deeper.
He made specific claims of a date range so that’s important to know it wasn’t fulfilled in the time period he stated
P. Carlos, ¿podría traducir estas conversaciones con el Dr. Moynihan, tan fundamentales en estos días? nos ayudan a comprender la Iglesia actual en manos del Sanedrín y Judas
He never left the priesthood
5:21 Are you sure that's not Perry Como?
