I also like to point out that DSP's issue with his inputs being dropped is caused by the fact his character is currently doing an animation either from his previous input or got staggered after being hit and DSP seems to think his inputs should override every animation his character is doing.
That and the fact that he starts to mash buttons when it happens giving him the wrong move instead. He doesnt have the timing needed for fighting games , proven by the fact that he couldnt do any finishing moves in Mk1. He doesnt play it cool either and chokes easily.
He just expects to coast through the game forever. As everyone else practices and improves. He gets filtered out of every fighting game because he doesn’t want to practice.
I have been casually playing this game since release and I'm actually approaching Diamond all the way from Bronze; I regularly play people who are ten times better than him. He's actually the one playing patterns and he doesn't realize his opponent does the same thing over and over because it always works against him. Just watch him play Tekken 8. The moment he fought anyone who knew to break his command throw he got obliterated.
And because he's outright bad. That final set he played with the Ed, the Ed figured out fast that every time he blocks or gets hit by crMK, DSP is going to cancel into hop command grab. Dude jumped up and punished DSP for doing that like 5 times in a row, and DSP KEPT DOING IT. But he's "intelligent". They're the pattern players. He totally doesn't start every round the same or keep holding up and back hoping to land a random jumpHK whenever he gets cornered.
On the contrary he does actually practice, but it mainly involves him learning something 3 to 4 easy to spam combos/moves and it technically works because he's able to reach Master rank in every Street Fighter game he plays. Although this is where things start falling apart because he's going up against players with the skills to counter his spam.

Man ive been out of the dsp loop since the reddit communities are gone and the short curated content has been sparse. Crazy I've been out of the loop for months and he is exactly the same crying the game is scrubby because people choose to learn it while he didn't and he thinks he is entitled to wins.
The game didnt get bad, what happened is the newer players (Philberts prey) have moved on or gotten better. Now, instead of getting his easy win on a scrub and gloating about what a gamer he is, hes getting whipped by competent players.

Or Super Turbo with straight up 8-2 matchups. Modern fighting games have maybe 6-4 at absolute worst. Akuma and Ken are so overpowered. Please come play against Vega in Super Turbo, a fair and balanced character. Or try to block Magneto 1f crLK and mashing triangle jump high low nonstop. So much more balanced.

Man ive been out of the dsp loop since the reddit communities are gone and the short curated content has been sparse. Crazy I've been out of the loop for months and he is exactly the same crying the game is scrubby because people choose to learn it while he didn't and he thinks he is entitled to wins.
