You guys should do the borderlands movie..it was bad .... I saw it last night and as a borderlands fan it is not good. Everyone's old like borderlands 3 they have characters from borderlands 2 but they're doing like a pre-borderlands story and general Knox is there and tiny Tina is made from iridien blood... This is like a bad fanfic movie. Zero continuity and it's just all over the fucking place. And Lil's didn't know she was a siren till the last 10 minutes of the movie.. The worst part there wasn't even a borderlands 4 trailer or hint or anything. Literally the only reason I went. I expected this movie to be hot trash. Tiny Tina wasn't bad she needed way more energy though but but kreig was perfect
"Didn't bring anything to the story" Obviously, you guys missed the point of the movie. It's like complaining that scary movie has horrible story telling. The movie isn't really about the story dinguses...
@badgasaurus4211 it's parody, ranchy jokes, a bit of satire. It's a movie that shouldn't be taken seriously. It's value is all from fan service, action, comedy, and violence. If it's not for you, that's okay. But don't compare it to a movie like Logan, or even end game, even though it shares some elements. It is nostalgic but I wouldn't call it nostalgia bait. The target audience got exactly what it wanted, if you didn't like it then you're not the target audience.
@1121b that 100% makes sense. When you create a movie, book, song, you have a target audience. And considering it is performing very well and a large subset are seeing it multiple times. There is definitely a target audience. This was done so well that if you don't like it then it just wasn't for you. Have you never learned about targeting your audience in school? Pretty basic stuff here.
@@danm2756 of course it has a target audience, likely 15-25 yr old males. It’s got a broader appeal than that considering it’s doing so well but that’s it’s core audience it’s trying to appeal to. If you fall within that bracket but didn’t like the film you aren’t suddenly “not the target audience”, that makes no sense
The movie they gave us is hot garbage. Lazy nd the plot lines went nowhere meaningful to the characters. It went somewhere for integrating fox to the MCU. But it's so selfish and doesn't make for a good movie
Pointless movie that basically admitted it was just for fun and action boom boom. I liked it, but I also am never going to watch it again. It's a cash grab, and god bless they made money. It was sometimes funny, sometimes cringe, sometimes exciting, sometimes boring. 7/10 at its best parts and 5/10 at its worst parts. Its highs werent that high but the lows werent that low.
I didn't want a movie that would piss off Fans...BUT I did agree with every single Criticism you made. Cameos were Cameos...NOT supporting roles you could switch u[pany of those fox characters, ANY... and the film wouldn't change too much.
Don't know how people are shocked you guys didn't like this film that much. Like, how do these people listen to the rest of your reviews and think 'this is their type of film'. Like writing was pretty weak, the cameos were ok, and jokes weren't as good as previous Deadpool films. Like yeah, just weren't thay strong
Bud Beau loves venom lmao. And everyone has their own opinion. Your opinion was its weak that doesn’t mean everyone has that opinion you do realize that right? It’s more the fact that nerd soup has just changed drastically. And people change that’s cool. You can slurp them all you want but they don’t review anything anymore so why review this movie? They shoulda just reviewed the first half like they did with shogun and invincible. They were obsessed with the boys now it’s trash. Like they’ve just clearly changed as people and that’s fine but they don’t put out explanations or be transparent with anyone anymore. that’s what has people more aggressive now. It’s been basically a year of this with no explanation besides just being negative and not caring
@@morgancassidy6598 yeah for sure.
Aaron delete the app! It's so freeing!
Yall need to do silo and severance
They really tried to do for the Fox characters what No Way Home did for Andrew Garfield and I don't think it worked AT ALL
"Didn't bring anything to the story"
Obviously, you guys missed the point of the movie. It's like complaining that scary movie has horrible story telling. The movie isn't really about the story dinguses...
@@danm2756 what’s it about then? Nostalgia bait?
@badgasaurus4211 it's parody, ranchy jokes, a bit of satire. It's a movie that shouldn't be taken seriously. It's value is all from fan service, action, comedy, and violence. If it's not for you, that's okay. But don't compare it to a movie like Logan, or even end game, even though it shares some elements.
It is nostalgic but I wouldn't call it nostalgia bait. The target audience got exactly what it wanted, if you didn't like it then you're not the target audience.
@@danm2756”if you don’t like it you’re not the target audience” you realise that makes no sense?
You been full woke for a minute bub
I really don't like the Deadpool franchise.
The movie they gave us is hot garbage. Lazy nd the plot lines went nowhere meaningful to the characters. It went somewhere for integrating fox to the MCU. But it's so selfish and doesn't make for a good movie
Movie kind of stunk tbh
Pointless movie that basically admitted it was just for fun and action boom boom. I liked it, but I also am never going to watch it again. It's a cash grab, and god bless they made money. It was sometimes funny, sometimes cringe, sometimes exciting, sometimes boring. 7/10 at its best parts and 5/10 at its worst parts. Its highs werent that high but the lows werent that low.
I think in a year or so the post-nut clarity is gonna hit the fanboys and they’re gonna realize how mid this movie was.
Like I get this movie did a lot of things people wanted like not tryna yack someone's yum, but from a writing and pacing perspective it maybe wasn't as strong, which is fine depending on what you want from the film.
But that's what I listen to these guys, and that's more what they usually focus on so I'm just not surprised they weren't as hot on it
Y'all should review Super
is Nerd soup going woke now??
Woke is cool af. All my homies are woke, all the hot girls are woke. Only the incels arent.
Shawn Levy is NOT a good director.
I think the only thing that would’ve made it better is if they didn’t comeback at the end. Would’ve been a great send off to both. But like they said, till they’re 90 😂
Good soup 👌🏾
Watched some of the vid, nd indifferent soup now☹️ i won’t let differing opinions alter my respect for you guys nd what you do though. Some of the other comments are steaming w/ anger all cuhs you didn’t like a movie as much as they did😂😂😂 you guys are still doing great. Keep up the good work nd keep the quality content coming💯
❤hell yeah this movie was fucking ass
This is Disney's version of Deadpool. Of course, it's gonna be a water downed broth. But if they made a Death of Spider-Man movie with Toby's or Andrew's version with this multiverse nonsence, it would be one heck of a story
How was this Deadpool watered down?
Based on Ruben's take, it seems watered down. I have yet to go to watch the movie, I'll just wait for streaming to know how watered down the movie is for me. But I am excited to see Tatum's take on Gambit.
Always said Deadpool is murderporn and Ryan Reynolds' is annoying af. You can't rewatch these movies because the jokes are sarcastic and shallow.
You guys always give great analysis
No clapping, no cheers. Barely laughs. This movie wasn't that good. Low hanging fruit jokes that won't be funny the second time, cameos that, who gives a shit on a rewatch. Weak plot. This movie was fun, zero rewatchability, 6 out of 10
First??
We can all admit. The TVA was the worse part of the movie. And ya know Disney demanded that at least be in the movie.
Deadpool 3 is the worse out of all Deadpool movies.
Best marvel movie since end game , finally some shit that’s not just for children
End game was for children.
@@keeganshigh biggest L take of 2024 right here lol
The comments gushing of this movie have to be bots there’s just no way
A bot calling other folk bots is kinda funny lol

What a weird comment to put here lol. Get a life.
