This was one of the weirdest ones I listened to, yet it had a totally unexpected ending. That's something I normally enjoy. Great acting in this strange story!
Good call! I read your comment before I listened to the story and in my head I pictured Eddie. I couldn't change his image to anyone else except Steve Buscemi.😈
Title could have been: “My 300 Lb Vicarious Life, But be Careful What You Ask For!” A very different story from writers and actors who have told us many intriguing and suspenseful stories during CBSSRMT ‘s excellent run! Enjoyed 4/26/2022.
Yeah Tammy, it kind of is. Elspeth Eric pushed the envelope every once in a while. The most risqué episode I can remember though is The Slave from the 1975 season.
35:30 The young lady's statement of what she wants speaks volumes about the human condition. Same with the hoodlum's response. What an incredibly novel and fascinating story. I loved this episode. Well played. John V. Karavitis
All she had to do, was quickly cry out his name on the phone, when he forced her to call that woman to come over! She probably could have quickly screamed, his name and he’s going to shoot me! Then the woman would hear the gunshot, and call the police!
Let's see...nonsensical plot, loaded with creepy, freaky weirdos, psychological psychobabble influence - it's an Elspeth Eric story! What a load of weird garbage!
He ate that mousse quicker than anybody in human history
When I was 20 my mother told me "I live vicariously through you."
Love this one. All the characters have their own weird personalities. Nosey neighbors, dull woman, recluse, and of course, the main one, the Devil.
The guy who burned the money was pretty strange. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
Watching these great stories in September 2021
clearly my 600lb life was not on TV back then
It was half as good as My 300 pound life… hers was, “My 300 Lb Vicarious Life, But be Careful What You Ask For!”
It’s funny how E.G. Marshal pronounces, “An-HOY-zer” Busch!
I guess that means we should be pronouncing the beer, “Bud-WOY-zero!” 😜👍🏼
Wow, Good one both of these women are excellent actresses too!
That was creepy in many ways!
This sounds like Chris Nolan's movie Inception
This was one of the weirdest ones I listened to, yet it had a totally unexpected ending. That's something I normally enjoy.
Great acting in this strange story!
i’m 110 lbs in my dreams too lol
❤❤❤❤from England

One of the better and more disturbing episodes. Love Jack Grimes in this one...his voice reminds me of Steve Buschemi

This episode is a bit risqué for the Mystery Theater wouldn’t you say. Wow!

This one stuck with me! The story is great, repression is not.

nope. didn't get it at all ...
Forgive me for being dense~
Was it the lady's son, the devil? This is the first mystery I didn't understand.
May was such a dull and unimaginative person, she could have did the job without the drama. This is a strange story.
First time i.ve found one of these brilliant radio shows,disturbing/dark/sad..could not listen to all of it😦
I'm confused lol
Excellent Site , Composed Very Professionally.
