I got my FSD trial 4/9/24 and now I use it everyday. I couln't believe how good the FSD was. GAME CHANGER!! I will be purchasing the FSD once my trial is completed.

This week this week, Tesla laid off 10% of their entire workforce, their stock is down 1/3 of its value over a year, and EV sales are plunging. I think it’s time we owned up that this is not gonna be the revolution that we all thought it would be, and he may succeed overtime, but they’re gonna need a lot more engineering and we’re not gonna get rich Yolo in Tesla stock for 20 years, it’s just not gonna beat the market.

School buses. One of my revivifiers is an elementary principal. Doc thinks Rob O’Taxi will provide safer, more variable, cleaner, less toxic, CHEAPER transport for ALL children.
Most schools are already a traffic disaster with parents dropping their children off at school. If all of the children that use buses came to school in their own vehicle nobody would be able to get in or out of the neighborhood because of gridlock. If this "Principal" thinks this is the best solution for getting children to school then no wonder our kids are learning nothing in school. I'm trying to imagine thousands of robotaxis at a large school at the end of the day trying to pick up the students all at the same time. Where would they park? How would the student know which one to get into?? It's an impractical, dumb idea.

If most Teslas can operate as robotaxies it will create a huge supply of taxi services - a supply that will not be supported by demand. Price for the service will then have to be low - and profits will be minimal.

I bought FSD on model Y in 11-2021 and paid $10k. Took a bath on it apparently with $99 subscription now. Elon mislead buyers with his claim that it would be worth $100k in the future. In addition they cut the price of Long Range and included in Long range model. Prices are getting crushed. Existing owners got crushed. Only offset was taking profit in my Tesla stock some time ago which offset the rapid depreciation of the car. Elon is terribly distracted and making crazy statements. Robo taxi is years away. The talk about this is delusional. You cannot even take your hands off the steering wheel while on the freeway for more than a minute at a time. They have been claiming robo taxi by the end of year for the past 5 years. Get real.

A thought on who will be able to purchase a “Robotaxi”. I think individuals will be a large part based on an individuals ability to charge at home and “run” their robotaxi around their schedule.
The high density would great in modern cities, using intelligent dynamic optimised routing to provide 'near' door to door.

Aging fleet…. That means no recent facelift with new due-dads, grille, fins, etc., like Detroit has conditioned us all to want every three years or so , such that our neighbors will know were “keeping up with the Jones’s” … not meaningful continuous improvements that truly improve the car.

I have Tesla insurance it's kind of high. So I'm a little bit of a gambler that's why I have Tesla stock. I'm going to get rid of Tesla insurance and get liability coverage and then get FSD at 99.00.
FSD is supposed to be a lot safer then regular driving so we'll see how it pans out.
If your insurance is high, and you're always crashing, definitely, don't drive. Get the car to do it for you.
FSD will lower your safety score. Thereby lowering your monthly insurance. People saving over $100 month on insurance, which makes FSD essentially free.

Yes., I would at $99. I have FSD for fee trial now, and enjoying it, but will not continue at $199.

IDEA: analysts have to reach a level of successful recommendations before asking them to be on your broadcasts.
Batteries are still a problem!!! Personally most people of my generation are so used to having control over their vehicles that they don’t want the Robotaxi, but I do think the current generation will probably be all in! So as an investor I think this makes sense, but I will more likely buy a Model 3 Ludicrous!!
You can’t have competition if you are not competing.
I'd like to see your math on the $1,000,000 robo taxi purchase yielding a 5% return. At $50,000 profit per year, it takes 20 years just to recover the principal of a $1,000,000 investment. The car won't last for 20 years without significant costs, like two battery swaps, tires and brakes, and of course commercial insurance. I'm not sure how you get a 5% return on investment. Not many people could ever get $1,000,000 in a loan for a robo taxi, and not many people would have $1,000,000 cash to make that kind of purchase. Seems a little off to me.
How could you in good conscience have a buy rating on GM along side an IQ of at least double digits of course.
Here is the thing cult members..BYD competition is real, and the new CATL energy storage is more robust and much cheaper than the comparable Megapack not good for the energy unit. Combined with the nearly certain bullshit coming out in August, TSLA is a $120 stock and will go down to that level.

So if Tesla offers FSD (@ $99/mth) to the Tesla community, shouldn't Tesla also offer a reduced Tesla Insurance package alongside FSD - that would make sense plus a shit load of money for Tesla. You would have several million Tesla cars each year being added to the FSD/Insurance Package. Also Robotaxis insured via Tesla (different package of course, more money).
