Not only in Thailand, even in Sri Lanka, McDonald is a restaurant and is visited by those who have money. It's a special place for people to have celebration, birthday parties for kids, etc. It's considered not as a food chain here

I am very surprised why this guy has less than 2 million subscribers.Common man visiting 191 countries is not a joke.it takes so much perseverance, will power and passion to do it. I thought I was the only one who felt that. So far I've eaten at McDonald's in France, Germany, India, USA, Indonesia and Thailand. The best however is Thailand's McDonald's, everything is just perfect there.

I love Mcdonalds in Thailand , I have been to one of them in Bangkok it was 24 hours , and they had more options in the menu with some local dishes , it was 10 times better than the Mcdonalds here in Russia. my favorite part was the free sauce refill and the delicious taste and not to forget to mention their cheap prices.

McDonald’s Thailand is great. They have table service where they will bring the food to you instead of you collecting yourself. They have local items such as basil fried rice, pork burger and some items I can’t remember now. It’s more of a restaurant than a fast food joint in Thailand. Sadly most locals don’t eat there due to the price as it is considered expensive to them.
Perhaps you may have jumped into conclusion too quickly. In the clip most customers are locals. And home delivery is also mostly for locals. I don't think that 250+ McDonald's branches and counting in Thailand n some open 24hrs could survive without support from locals.

McDonald's is expensive if you only compared with the venders street foods, but if you compare with most normal standard restaurants in Bangkok(local places) it's not expensive my friend, they did the prices just on par. And it's nothing to be sad for them my friend they lived in Thailand the land of foods, they eat burgers just when they get bored about Thai food and just want to change their feeling, it's the feeling like they have to eat Thai food everydays and just want to eat French fries and Burgers sometimes. Lol
For me when I eat Thai foods a lot and many times I always craved French Fries and cups of sauces. Lol

I remember sharing my fries with my (now-late) grandpa when my family and I were on a summer vacation in Bangkok back in 2004, when I was 12 ✈🇹🇭
We used to take grandpa to Bumrungrad Hospital for his medical checkup and often had our lunch at the McDonald's there.

Terra_RBLX I’m guessing this is Fahrenheit, as Iraq has desert I’m pretty sure. But damn 50 C, in Australia its generally 32-36 Cm in summer where I live, and sometimes reaches 40 C, but damn 50 C. And our winters are pretty similar to urs, except the morning temperature is colder, and the afternoon temperature is basically Summer’s morning temperature

I have been to McDonald’s in every country I have visited so far 😂 mostly because I work at one in Canada and I enjoy seeing the differences. So far I’ve been to McDonald’s in the Bahamas, USA, England, & France!
I went to Thailand in 2009 and 2015. When I was 8, I always went to McDonald's with my dad after beaches in Thailand. I usually got pie and it used to be popular back then. I don't know what was it called but it tasted delicious and not too sweet. In 2015, I was 14 and I was no longer interested in McDonald's until Thai McDonald's which has restocked my interest in McDonald's! It's so delicious, cheap and has various numbers of foods I've enjoyed.

i been to Thailand over a dozen times. The McDonalds lady workers and line managers are lovely. The burgers really do seem to be cooked to order. The burgers are thinner but so much fresher than the stuff in the USA. You go to a USA mcdee's and your burger is likely to be dry and on a shelf for hours, burger soaked in a tray with water to keep warm. You literally can not get a freshly cooked burger in the USA stores

I had a totally different experience... It was late night in Bangkok, every restaurant was already closed, so we had to go to a McDonald's. It was dirty and smelly. After that we had stomachache. Thailand has so much incredible food, there's no need in going to a McDonald's. When everything is closed now we go to some 7/11.

Fun memory about McDonalds. We were on tour in Moscow in May/June 1990 - after already performing in Eastern European countries for a few weeks. It was the week McDonalds opened. Some of our crew stood in line for 3 hours and surprised the entire ballet company burgers and fries... it was so good after needing to have group meals of mystery meat 3 times a day because there weren't any restaurants in the former U.S.S.R. in that time.
For Thai people, service with sincere and smiling are very important and made Thailand fast food different from other.

Because even a kid in Bangkok know that the waiter or any worker in Bangkok are always smile and kind otherwise I believe there would be a lot of problem for them if they have any problem with local Bangkok people, because most of the labour class workers here in Bangkok they came from another provinces they're not even real local, why do they want to have a problem with a real local??
Believe me in Bangkok you can go anywhere or any shop and most shops or restaurants you go you could ask them for any helps and what they do to you should be only a smile and glad to help, you should know that if you are a real Thai, it's really funny I have to tell you these things.Lol

I understand the whole short videos to cater to the super short attention span of todays viewers, but did you ever think of making a full length 1 hour documentary style experience for each country? Each video on any particular subject from a different country always leaves me wanting more, and it is hard to find every video made for one specific country as they don't seem to be categorized by country but by activity or experience. Example, I'm more interested in Thailand than I am in the McDonalds experience in Thailand. Learning about the McDonald's experience in Thailand within a full length documentary of the country would be much more interesting for some than to click on a caption aiming at the Mcdonalds experience by itself.
I love how an american calls visiting McDonalds a "cultural experience" 🤣
But it's really fun to know how it different for any country for the big famous Franchises. When I travel to another countries, I must try local foods of them and really fun to know and compare their KFC and McDonald too. 😁And it 'sreally different.
That's because it is. McDonald's in other countries often localized in order to cater to locals, thus it will have cuisines that won't be found in American McDonalds.
