I was FEELING the whole "older people in the family fighting and the younger generations watched that bullshit and said, "Yeah, no. We're not doing that." part about 25 minutes in. So true with me and my cousins...on BOTH sides. Damn older people fighting over nonsense and pride all the time. Anyway - loving it - great episode!
Gabe funny as hell but a genuine heart of gold! 💛 His work is essential (the Mexican kiddo who made good). Gab is important to the American comic landscape. Sweet Guy! ❤🎉❤🎉
Saw Fluffy in Redding Ca. A few years back .. his performance was great , but beyond that he stayed and talked to the crowd for 40 min after his act was done just hanging out and chatting it was the most personal show I’ve ever been to. . This podcast helps me remember that y’all are a lot like us we are all human .. I started microdosing mushrooms about a year ago partly because of watching Neal talk about his own journey with psychedelics , thank you for helping me find some sanity in my crazy ass life .
2 emotionally mature comedians... Who knew??? What a great conversation and even better growth potential for everyone who watches and, hopefully, listens to what is being said regarding personal responsibility and growth. This one was absolutely" outta the ballpark," guys!!! Continued love, respect, and good vibes to both of you. NOICE!!!❤
Gabriel’s performed everywhere, and he is killing it on Netflix. And even with all that I still feel like people underate him. One day I think people will look back and realize what an amazing comedian he is. He’s not clean, but he is close to it and killskills without being mean, or without throwing out a bunch of profanity. And it’s sad when I mention him on Reddit People always just call him that fat, comedian, who jokes about food or whatever. He’s so much more than that.
By most standards, he is definitely a clean & family friendly comic which is probably why he is underappreciated in the comedy sphere. But it's also part of what has created such a large amount of success for him, by being acceptable to such a wide audience. After all, he is one of the few comedians that can sell out a large stadium!
I’m here for Gabriel Iglesias, but the interviewer needs to learn how to educate himself and learn as much as possible about his guest PRIOR to the interviews.
As someone who weighed 515lbs at my heaviest, I am glad to see Gabriel getting a little healthier. Neal dismisses the difficulty of weight loss too easily.
I think when you stop doing some kind of habit that might displace you consciously, like drinking for example and then you realize something about yourself. That means you were doing the habit to run away from facing this part of you.
Saw Gabriel at the Brea Improv on Christmas Day... A true gentleman and kind man...who is fuckn HILARIOUS 😂. I wish him all the best. Thanks for this one, Neal. ❤️🙏🏽🥰
I hate when people (“interviewers”) do that… interrupting is annoying enough but right when someone is about to hit a point, open up, in the middle of a great story or being vulnerable…ugh really!?
All Gabriel Iglesias needs to do is to start going on walks. Get a dog, that can go on the road with you. And you take that dog walking everyday. Your walking and healthy habits become theirs. And you just made a new friend. Just long walks, do it for you and for a dog, it becomes a new habit, and it also is great for clearing your head.
I relate soo hard when Gabriel said his siblings told him “you got a different mom!” I have 6 brothers, 5 older. I’m the only girl though and my baby brother is 7 years younger.
@@wakenow1i saw him live. When he did the machine story, i realized not one thing in the show was new. I had heard every story he had on podcasts. I completely stopped being a fan after that
No neal - the youngest gets the best - the older kids had to live through younger hard working stressed out parents (kids all piled into one bedroom). By the time the youngest comes along the parents have given up & and are tired & you not only get your own room, you get worn out parents who don't need to prove anything anymore. So its easy to be funny when your not living in a boot camp.
I love your interviews BUT at least have the courtesy to do some research of the comedians that kindly accept to be on your show watch one of their specials for Christ sake. And another thing is I see that you always assume the person in front of you is as self focused as you are. Still really good show!
So when Neal doesn't know the guest that well, he tries to be funny and mess them up. This suggests that when Neal is sincere with a guest he knows well, he trying to me them up. Cut back to him telling Jimmy Carr "I love you."

Neil,….. your pontificating about another person’s life style regarding their physique ,… is the epitome of rudeness. I wonder if people take it upon themselves to critique your appearance, your health, suggesting solutions that are absolutely impossible for you to change,… you are not a therapist or a life coach ,.. though you play one on your podcast. Your guests are interesting.
Back when I was working at an Improv comedy club about 10 or 12 years ago, Gabriel Iglesias came an performed there. And one thing we the employees would soon discover, apparently in some previous Gabriel show, perhaps a special, he mentioned something about how much he liked cake. And ever since then, at every performance he would be at, people would bring up cakes and pies to give to him. Both store bought and homemade. He would literally have a dozen cakes or more by the end of the night. Now I felt for Gabriel who was dealing with a weight problem, to have all these delicious treats shoved into his face. Fortunately for us employees, he would give the vast majority of them to us. So I got to have one of Gabriels chocolate cakes and a pie (don't recall what kind now) to take home. I just started the video, so I don't know if this will be brought up or not.
These podcast thumbnails are getting out of control? What is this absolutely wild Japanese, selfie cam style face smoothing, eye and teeth brightening rosy, cheek anime render you got going on??
I believe the reason why the youngest born are more apt to be funny, was due to the fact that that was the only thing the youngest could do to get things. You were generally the smallest, at least at first. So you couldn't muscle your way around your siblings. The best you could do was to make them laugh. Plus it was also the way the youngest and smallest could get attention.
Can your vision get blurry if you are hypoglycemic, if your blood sugar is too low? Because my vision often gets blurry when I do fasting for long periods
Hello. I am a hypoglycemic and yes my eye sight does change. When I get those episodes when I’m about to pass out, my eyes get blurry. I’m getting texted for the blurriness as of right now and got eye drops.
In Gabriels case I think he was unfairly criticized for eating at Chick-fil-A with his dog. People crapped on him for that. Then when he became the voice of speedy Gonzalez there were people online who were critical, because they felt the character was stereotypical, but the reality is Hispanics love speedy Gonzalez and many of us were glad that he got the role.
This was so warm I loved this. Iglesias is my favorite from high school. Warm kind, embarrassingly talented. Good guest Neal. This guys is super. 🎉
The values that Gabriel’s mom put into him are the same I’m trying to impress into my children. Pure kindness. Great guest.
I was thinking the same thing while listening, my mom was the same with me and I will do the same when I have children ❤❤
Same, I was raised without religion and just taught to be moral, kind, and fair to others
I really love how many comedians are so comfortable with Neal.

You cannot ask people these personal, vulnerable questions, and then talk over them the whole time… You just can’t. Lol
What a charming guy. Great to get to know him better.
Gabriel seems to well adjusted to be a stand-up.
This is probably one of my favorite episodes. He’s such a funny good guy.
20 yrs ago I was in the military and Fluffy hit the comic scene. He is hilarious and very talented at his craft. Thanks for the laughs !

Gabriel You are so great! Loved Mr. Iglesias on Netflix!!!! It was such a comfort watch lol.
“I could work out… but Russia man” brilliant

Love Fluffy! Type 2 Diabetes is reversible. If you are dealing with any chronic disease please seek out a Functional Medicine doctor.
Gabriel pronounced Ganesh correctly- or at least better than Neal!
Beautiful interview. Kisses hugs love from South Texas...Mucho Gusto 🥰😇
Loved it!
Also the bing noise when he said type 2 diabetes made me audibly laugh in my office
Neal and Gabriel should do a movie together
hmm midway through, Gabe, you can’t be mad if people don’t accept your apology immediately after you’ve been yelling at them.. that’s manipulative.
Neal - you are good at getting people to open up.
I had the same T-shirt as Gabriel back in 1990-1992. I’m jealous, I wish I still had it

I was there as well. Such an awesome show ❤ best Christmas ever!
When fluffy started talking about his brother I think Neil shouldn't have interrupted him, lol. He was really opening up.
I know I got so mad when he did that!

Fluffy!
Gabriel shared with joan rivers he does free professionally done pictures with fans after shows with a photographer he pays.
Another great episode Neal! Thank you!!

First half: bery Kreisher does it all the time. Second half, good point
You don't watch much comedy then 😂

Ugh. Fucking cringed at "woke culture."

For the alg. Glad the Editor is playing around a bit more with their decisions!

Not a fan of his comedy but he seems like a great, down to Earth guy. That and his VW collection is insane!
Love Fluffy!!!💖
Gabriel is such a great dude. I loved his Netflix show. it was a little corny but I liked it.
Awesome interview and Gabe repn "TMNT" 🥳
So I just went from liking Gabriel to falling in love with Gabriel. Genuine ❤
