@@aishaali4065 Best resource for sciences has to be MyGCSEScience (paid resource) - it has in-depth videos and specific topic questions. For free videos, free science lessons is great as well. For papers / exam questions, Physics&MathsTutor
For mocks I would recommend you watch my 'how to get a grade 9 in 1 month' video as it's the same methods you would be using for your mocks. Best of luck! x

Hi Sola, I love your videos, they are so helpful especially now that I have started year 11, but I was wondering if you can give me advice on how to revise for business because as you know it's a lot different, especially when I have to do my pitch.
Unfortunately I didn't do business so I'm not the best to give advice on that :-(. However, with every subject, comes content and the way you should revise that content is actively - through flashcards and blurting. For the pitch I'm guessing it's a presentation type of thing? I would say practice with friends and family until it's perfect, hope this helped in some way.

I would say make sure to focus on trying to understand everything you’re being taught in lessons, you do not want to have to teach these to yourself later. Since you’re at the start of the year, this is the perfect time to catch up. Maybe give you self a topic per week to go over and finish up so you can get through all of them in time for your exams. If you’re particularly struggling with any subject I do recommend talking to your teacher to see what they would recommend and how they can support you. Be sure to watch my grade 9 series for more specific advice on each subject

I think majority of your revision should be by yourself for that reason, it is uncomfortable and it is boring but it is where you will get most of your work done. Once you get it like 80% then you can start revising with friends and quizzing each other for fun and to switch things up, but don’t do this allll the time. Hope this helps 👍🏾

Hi Ama, I used the official OCR textbook here www.amazon.co.uk/Level-Biology-Student-Book-Science/dp/0198351925 . You have to make notes with the specification so you can see what is actually important as sometimes this textbook can ramble a bit. I also recommend watching BioRach on RUclips for any clarification and seeing what's actually important.

my best friend in secondary school joined a year before GCSE period, and she was from Lithuania. She did extremely well. If you work well with people, i advise you to talk to the friends that you make. Ask your teacher if you are unsure of anything!! thats what there for!! and CALM, u will be great and will do amazingly well ok? just chill, relax, LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHERS, make plenty of notes, you speak very good english and u seem very intelligent. My friend picked everything up so quickly and she passed all her GCSEs and did very well. Bearing in mind she didnt know a single word of english!! U do!!! So chill and relax, u will be great, have faith in urself!! xx
Everything Emilia said is true! Your friends and your teachers will help you, you won’t be left confused. All you have to do is to listen in lessons, do your homework and revise for your classroom tests! You will learn the content in the lesson and when you are in year 11 (15/16 years old) you will sit your GCSEs based on what you’ve learnt. 1 year is enough time don’t worry, be sure to watch my other grade 9 videos for specific tips on certain subjects. You’ve got this!

it isn't too detailed for all the topics so I wouldn't necessarily recommend doing that. It's just the baseline of knowledge you should know. Think of it of more of a checklist
My biggest advice for you from experience is if you find yourself procrastinating - ask yourself why and take the steps to correct the issue. Procastination tends to happen when you feel lost, and are not sure what to do next, so you resort to taking longer breaks or using up time. So get a paper, ask yourself what's the problem- These are the steps I follow that always put me back on track and make me more confident in knowing what to do next: Decide what to do : for example , revise a topic like "Structure of the kidney" Break it down into steps : I should read the text book, then watch this video on the topic, then take notes and summarise Take the first step, and continue from there. If you get lost again and fall into procastinating, simply ask what's wrong and correct the issue. Maybe you need a break, maybe you're hungry - listen to your body. After that, remind yourself of what you have to do - then do it. Realising this was a lifesaver. Honestly looking back, I really wish I knew this sooner - I hope this helps you
It depends on your exam board, so check the front of your textbook. It could be AQA, OCR, Edexcel, etc. Then you can search on Google something like AQA Biology GCSE Specification and it will come up as a pdf

@@jouad5611 I prefer Quizlet as you can focus on specific topics but Anki is good, depends on personal preference. MyGCSEScience is probably the best main revision resource to use. Blurting sounds good for whole topics but not for tiny facts. Hope this helps.

What is the specification I don’t have one if those is there a website or something?
