    i'd like to add for all those people listening to these while you sleep, you're supposed to also actively consume and learn spanish while you're awake! the subconscious mind while listening to these helps a LOT, but if you're not actively learning the language whilst you're awake, it won't stick to your conscious part of your mind. as someone who's been recently learning spanish, i've been listening to videos like these as i'm sleeping and in the background if i'm ever doing anything.
    i also actively consume anything that will help my learning by practicing and learning such through duolingo, reading spanish children's fairytales, watching spanish movies (with eng subtitles) and listening to spanish music. listening to these videos does however help me in remembering certain words and able to recognize them even better as i'm actively learning

    This actually helps. It’s hitting your subsconcious mind which is super powerful. I learned Spanish in 3 years. First year my instructor told me to not try to learn Spanish, and listen to it. She said it would sound like giberrish but your brain is forming a foundation to learn. Once I listened, she then made me read it for the next year. I was like “ooo I remember that word” next year I was fluent. It’s weird how it works

      id agree with you if you were actually awake and paying attention to whats being said to you. but if youre literally asleep. youre not listening. ive never fallen asleep while listening to music and then heard that in my dream or something, the brain doesnt really work like that. when youre a child youre constantly listening out for what people are saying to be able to understand them. a baby doesnt just say their first words because they happened to be asleep while while hearing people talking in the background. its because theyre constantly listening and figuring out how to communicate to their parents when they need something. learning another language is similar, you have to be paying attention and put constant time and effort into it to be able to speak fluently

    After taking advantage of this video, I was able to speak perfect Spanish on my recent Mexican vacation. I protested when they said they couldn't understand me and informed them that I spoke Spanish amazingly due to these nocturnal lessons from RUclips.
    They said, "only in your dreams".

  • @Perstephany
    @Perstephany 2 года назад +27

    I always see “doesn’t work” comments on these “while you sleep vids” and while some of them are creative & funny lol, I wish more people understood this ALONE will not help you learn Spanish but it’s extremely helpful when you combine it with conscious learning in all forms. (Reading, writing, listening, speaking)
    Someone once told me to think of it this way, every time you hear a new word, you learn 1% more of that word each time. Eventually it’s going to stick.
    Listening to these while sleeping puts it into your subconscious so when you’re actively learning it can help you memorize faster. Learning takes time but it’s worth it. 😊

    Language learning is addiction.. Once you've done with one language you find yourself struggling for the next... I don't know when I will exactly stop learning languages...I speak Swahili, Luo (native), English, French, Arabic, and now working hard on Chinese, Spanish and Russian....there is Italian, Germany and Portuguese I head of me!!!!!!!!!! Languages make one so confident... I don't have a university degree but, whenever I speak English I readily see people around me get surprised of my intonation...Two questions they always ask me...WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL? and HOW COMES THAT YOU SPEAK SMOOTHLY LIKE THAT... My answer is LOVE LANGUAGES...And SPEAK TO YOURSELF LOUDLY AND FREEQUENTLY.

    I am using this to refresh my Spanish. I appreciate the background music, as I find it relaxing. However, the volume is not consistent. For instance, when the gentlemen utters "gracias" and "can I try this on?" it sounds decibels louder than other utterances. By the way, gracias is mispelled. Your screen shows gracis. One more: excuse me in Espanol es 'disculpe me', not, just disculpe, which omits who is asking to be excused.
    I do appreciate what your efforts, to be sure. Much as gracias!

    You can learn a language in your sleep and it is scientifically proven. When your asleep, your mind enters a different state allowing information to get in quicker. That's why some of you guys may be waking up dizzy or uncomfortable. You may not be learning Spanish while you sleep because of the ads, you're too excited, or just because you're stressed out. Also, charge your devices throughout the night. When you wake up you will most likely learn new phrases and vocabulary.

    Lots of people commenting that they are not learning Spanish in their sleep! Newsflash - you can’t learn a new language in your sleep! Lol! However, research suggests that if you are already a language learner and you want to consolidate your vocabulary, this is a good way to do it. It is supposed to be a supplementary addition to your current learning plan not a way to start learning something new.

      It depends how much spanish you already know. I was born over there and know quite a bit but find it hard sometimes because I live in Australia and no-one speaks Spanish. There for I can't practice with people and I'm losing it. I listen too it to refresh my memory especially when I have to video call my family in Spain.
      If you know Spanish, you can understand basically all the Spanish languages but if your still learning it's best to stick with one

    • @nicosmind3
      @nicosmind3 6 лет назад

      Tatiana Fernández Ledo Well I've Spanish mainland family myself and would love to have a home there. So I don't want to confuse myself especially if I'm learning while sleeping. Cause when I'm awake I can actively learn regular Spanish :)
