I love this! So relaxing…Many benefits for all occasions. I think the idea is It is effective for those who have a hard time falling asleep or if still in bed sleeping in. ;) great practice while commuting!
Every night for the last two months I fall asleep watching the Spanish TV channels. I watch Spanish comedies, sitcoms, and the news until I fall asleep. In the morning I watch the Spanish news channel before work. On my way to work I listen to a Spanish radio station. My goal was to hear the language and start identifying the individual words and phrases. Little by little I am beginning to hear the spoken words and phrases of Spanish speakers, which is helping me to understand the language, and how it is spoken.
Absorbing the language is great for many reasons! Good for you for being so dedicated. I love listening to podcasts in Spanish. We just started getting hooked on Casa de Papel too. Have you you seen it? Un saludo. -Jim
@@pharoah2x880 Well I can tell you this. The more I listen to the Spanish language, the more I can hear the individual words as they are spoken. I am not yet proficient in the language, but at least now I hear the individual words. I did this so that I could hear Spanish speakers in their truest form of speaking. It definitely helps.
@@MrMajikman1 Do you watch them with subtitles? Spanish is very easy for an English speaker to learn with subtitles but requires too much time to learn without the subs.
@@awesomebearaudiobooks I do not watch them with subtitles. For me, I found it too hard to listen to and identify the words, if I was trying to read the subtitles at the same time. But, that may work for others.
My suggestion for all learners: Learn in as many ways as possible. Duolingo taught me things Spanish speakers couldn't (at least with their level of English), and speaking Spanish every day with my coworkers taught me things Duolingo never did. Now I'm learning phrases from this video that I hear but never caught an understanding when overhearing coworkers. I also form sentences in Spanish when I'm thinking of anything. The words I don't know I look up, or I find a way to say the meaning of the sentence. Surround and emerse yourself!!
This has been the best video for me to learn Spanish audibly. 1) The speaker says the phrase once and I challenge myself to pick out each of the words and if I know them. 2) Then she translates it to English. 3) Next she repeats the phrase, slowly, so I can grasp the pronunciation of each word. 4) Then she says it again at conversational speed. By saying the phrase three times, this helps me to hear the words, learn each pronunciation and then allows me to repeat it to get my mouth familiar with the words and rate of speaking. I’m so impressed with this recording. Thank you to the producers! This has been my favorite learning tool, and I have them all, LOL. I also listen to it right before and during sleep. I don’t think that I’m going to magically learn a new language by doing this. But I’ve read research on the power of the subconscious brain, especially while sleeping, so I’m giving myself exposure at every opportunity!
Because I’ve watched your other videos, this sounds more real, more natural to me. Not like some others. I really appreciate this, I will be listening every night, Thank you!
Well done, I just started listening to this and I really love how she pronounced everything so clearly so I can hear each word and everything is repeated in just the right speed. Really appreciate the efforts put into this to help us who are learning Spanish 💕💕💕
Unfortunately most Spanish speakers speak so fast and each Latin American country has their own dialects and vocabulary that it is sometimes hard to get a grasp of the language. But these videos are easy to grasp because the speakers speak slowly, clearly and most importantly, correctly. Thanks for posting these videos.
This video is definitely not meant for anyone to fall asleep because of all of the commercials you will be dreaming about medication, etc. I’ll listen to this during the day and definitely not at night.
RUclips changed their ad policy recently. Before, as creators, we were able to disable ads in the middle of our videos. Not anymore. Blame RUclips and use an ad blocker.
Right? I had my phone next to my head, so I wouldn't wake my husband, and the first commercial scared me. Someone yelling about poop stuck in the colon startled both of us. It should be, "learn Spanish while you run to hit 'skip'".
The ad policy CAN NOT be definite for every content creator. I use Thomas Hall most nights for his amazing subliminals - they DO NOT have commercials at all. It’s all good - we appreciate your content but this could be re-titled so it’s a daytime listen. You have 500k views so there you have it. Seems like a successful business model. 😎🥸📚🤷🏾♂️
I love how you teach. You’re patient & encouraging and clear. I am finding the trill difficult but I continue to be confident if I roll the R and RR it will come. I am waiting on Madrigal book to arrive! Yay!

¿Ayuda realmente el español mientras se duerme? Pregunta seria, me encanta aprender español pero he oído que aprender mientras duermes es una pérdida de tiempo?
@@talonmassman162 No es una pérdida de tiempo, cuando duermes el cerebro captará y archivará las palabras que entran en él, y te será más fácil aprender y pronunciar, yo hago eso con el inglés y me funciona muy bien, te recomiendo que lo hagas.
