Thanks for posting these vids. You capture the talent of Peart....timing. The man knew what do at the right time. Not too little, and even more importantly, not too much (a mistake made by a lot of even the great drummers). BTW, I noticed there tends to be one thumbs down on several of your vids. You by chance piss off a girlfriend? LOL!
This has to be one of Neil's most intense drum parts. All the more amazing that it's his first major recording with Rush and he played like that out of the box. Incredible.
After 4 months of drumming I can play this..and barchetta..I didn't know I had this gift. Been playing guitar 15 years. Life's weird. Live for yourself. Nobody else.
Kin Productions Yeah, I’d be grateful for that! The audio is not very workable, unfortunately. My mixer combines everything into one stereo track. I admit I haven’t done much research on how I can record multiple tracks through one USB interface.
@@SterlingPatrickFuentes Ah damn! I don't know how much you'd like to spend but an 1818vsl + TubeOpto 8 will give you 16 separate channels to record everything through USB! It's what I've done and it has yet to let me down! I'd be more than happy to guide you through it if you decide to go with it! It's a total of about 1200 CAD and can even work with a laptop!
If Rush were to every continue on with another drummer you are definitely more of a fit than Mike Portnoy or any other big named house drummer. Excellent!
Mate I've watched a few of your videos and I've got to say you're a fabulous drummer. Rush are my favorite band and it's fascinating to watch how you play Neil Peart's parts to the songs. He was an amazing drummer, but congratulations to you for emulating his work.

Im no Sterling but the first one I learned was Closer to the Heart. It's one of the simpler ones but still has fun fills and nothing too crazy on the kick drum.
