I think Shawna deserves dinner and back rub for helping shove that behemoth around!!! (Got your back Shawna 😉) She's going to be another gem bud....can't wait to see that one roasting the rubber!
Love watching this episode in the Netherlands. And , I would definitely not paint it , I love the patina. But if it was my car though, I would find a very good painter to blend the door and the fender to match the rest of the patina. Not to expensive, and it would look a whole lot better. Thanks for your content.
@@ritskevandermeer thanks for watching from the Netherlands! I agree,it would definitely look much better. He blended the new quarter panels-they were black e coat.
Yes you can, rust……….oh hey did they make your chargers side marker work instead of reflectors? One of the dislikes besides the front nose divider…… I have a 68 base….. wonder were you live I live in Washington to your yard looks familiar lol
Great Charger! T5 is my favorite color, it is a Hemi car with a 4-speed, and '69 is the best looking Charger. Thanks for sharing, look forward to seeing updates as they come.
Very nice, I can see why you're very excited about this car! Can't wait to see the next video on this one. What kind of wheels are you going to put on it?
What is the paint code for the dash? Looks like a bluebird brown color. It looks really nice. I see some people paint the dash in T3 (like the inside of the doors) and that is not correct. The dash should be slightly darker than T3 with no metallic in it. Your buddy did excellent work! I can tell he knows mopars.
Yup! I LOVE day 2 cars. I find them more interesting, same goes for ratty/original cars. The nice thing is,it’s all bolt on parts and can be changed back at any time.

Pretty sweet! I have to introduce you to my Turfor cable jack for pulling things into the shop.
I think you do! Lol

Great video, that's a beautiful car wish I had it.
Yes it is. This has been a dream of mine for 40 years.
I’m not one to keep things factory but it would look so good with the burnt orange interior
It would, burnt orange is an awesome colour. But I have to go with tan on this one to keep it mostly original.thx for watching
68 number 1, 70 number 2 and 69 is in third place. I like the color
Yeah,it’s an awesome colour. Actually 68 is my favourite, but you can’t go wrong with any second generation Charger.

Did the trunk lip and front rad support match up to the vin?

You found a Unicorn, Nicely done.
Definitely! Im glad I bit the bullet and was able to hang onto it these last 20 years. It’s a dream car of mine for sure. Thx for watching!
Dream car in progress! So cool!
Yes,a long slow process! lol. Thx T!
I don’t mind scuffs and scratches adds character, it’s the dents and can openers that bother me…..
Can’t wait for the next upcoming videos of you working on this HEMI Charger!
Thx! It’s been a life long dream to own and drive a real second generation Hemi Charger.
Just downloaded the episode, will be watching on the plane!
Nice! Order popcorn!!😂

He definitely does. I believe we got the dash paint from Classic Industries in a spray can. He said it’s the correct colour.
My buddy just informed me he used actual correct code NOS Lacquer for the dash paint
@@deankallstrom1968 Do you know what the code is? I’m about to start a resto on a saddle tan interior 69 R/T is why I’m asking.
Beautiful car
Thank you. Yes, it’ll be an awesome ride,20+ years in the making.

Is there any history of the car Dean or the original drive train. Plus nice car and good work. 👍
I don’t know much about its history unfortunately. I do know it’s had a rough life up until now. It’s on the long road to recovery now though.👍👍.
Instead of paint is there anyone who can do mopar color matching wraps with decals?
I’m sure there is, but I’m ok with it like this for now-slightly less stress.😂
