I can confirm, I have four bikes all with cues Linkglide 10s cassettes, cues don’t have I-spec shifter compatible with my brakes, so I tried the M4100 I-spec version on one bike to try it out, works perfect, I bought three more, now I have this set up on all my bikes, also I have four different derailleurs, XT 12s, XT 11s, Deore 11s and Linkglide 10s, they all work perfectly, I also discovered all shimano 11s shifters don’t work, wrong pull ratio.
@@keithchalk3912 So you are saying (M4100 shifter + Linkglide 10s or any derailleur 11+s + Linkglide 10s cassette) works. I'm wondering about (M4100 shifter + 10s Deore derailleur + Linkglide 10s cassette). In theory, it shouldn't work right?
@@Zorgloth You don't say which version you have, I recommend the RD-M5130 it has a clutch and can handle 48 teeth (Shimano say 43 teeth, but it does way more) also it has short cage, less risk of getting bashed up on the rocks.
This M4100 shifter is gold! Can work with CUES Linkglide cassetes!
Thank you for your work!

So, theoretically, if I wanna use this derailleur on a 12 speed cassete, the Sram SX 12 speed shifter would work fine, right?
Can you try some GRX derailleur next time? Thank you
